Wow - 3 years later I find this.. how did I miss this interview?
1993, I was in 7th grade. I walked into a record store with a RHCP t shirt on. The guy behind the counter asked me if I heard 311 Music. I said no and he loaded it into the CD player. I heard the intro to Welcome and I bought it. The rest is history.
Love that!😊
Didn’t know Bert was a 311 fan. Another thing I like about him now! 👍🏻
311 is amazing I still see them every time they come to jersey!! I must have seen them over 15 times in the past 20 something years :)
I still remember the first time I heard 311. It was a track off Grassroots on an indie rock radio station. I had never heard anything like it before and needed to hear more. Rode my bike to the CD store the same day to buy that album.
Seen them live 11 times since 1996.
311 is one of the most underrated bands of all time.
And as someone from Omaha, we don't get to say it often. They're from Nebraska!
I like this. Almost as much as i like my stupid comedy videos. 😶
No question. Take anyone with a doubt about that to a live show to feel the unity and they won’t make the same mistake twice.
I’ve been to tons of awesome concerts, from Pantera to RATM to Pink Floyd to Willie Nelson to Bob Dylan & many more but the most fun I always had was at 311 concerts…:)
I was 13 when they dropped the first album and like all of my friends back then I was into the Grunge,Alternative shit and when 311 found their way to my radio I was the only one that liked them enough to buy the CD. I've been apart of the "cult following" ever since. Underrated and way ahead of their time.
311 was the first concert I ever went to and my friends and I got to play basketball with the guys from the band before the show just by dumb luck. P-Nut can ball, but they were all pretty damn good. That concert and basketball game are why I am still a fan to this day.
Also, Blind Melon is underrated and Change gives me chills every time I hear it.
I was lucky enough to see Blind Melon open for Neal Young. Amazing show.
Remember watching them play basements and Pnut worked at a restaurant down the street. They were cool as shit in high school.
They are the only band I've seen at least 5x live. 311 is my favorite band of allllll time. I really enjoyed this podcast today Bert.
311 makes me happy!
I use to hang with the boys back in Nebraska in the 90's! Fun Times!!
Love you awesome video and podcast is awesome 🐻🐻
wow, I'm tone deaf when it comes to music so I never got into music but how these guys talk about music is how I get about books. I love to read and read 270 books last year. When I read an author I really like I seek out and try to read all their stuff.
311 and chili peppers concert ringing in the year 2000, how the hell was this not professionally filmed ???!
I remember seeing them play in San Diego back in the late 90s when I was in the Marine Corps
I didn’t I’ve been waiting for this podcast
i hear ya!
Dude watching Go Big now, that first stunt was Fckd. Finally a new show with people I like and can tolerate.
PNut beat that thang!!! Love PNut!
Pnut can rip
311, 3 3 11!!

The interviewer talks too much.
It's called "Change" you dork.
This would be good if you could delete the host
