Great tutorial. Another way to do the first part is to use the golden ratio number of 1.618. If you select your original square and then use the 'scale tool' and set it to 61.8% you can continue to reduce the squares at the perfect ratio, infinitely.

Thanks man, i've seen some videos where they use golden circles, but idk why the golden spiral is needed! Is it to create shapes as well?
