How To Remove Yellow Stains From Your Sneakers | The SIMPLEST and MOST EFFECTIVE Way

- Clean your white sneakers using this method and never try other methods again. (I only tried this in white canvass sneakers so I have no idea if this will work on other materials.)
Washing white shoes usually causes yellow stains so I tried this method and it worked wonders for me:
1. Clean your shoes using water and soap (or a shoe cleaner) then let it dry for 12 hours.
2. Soak toilet paper with water then lay it flat all over your shoes.
3. Cover the entire shoe with dry toilet paper then let it dry for 12 hours. Doesn’t have to be under the sun, just wherever you feel comfortable putting it overnight.
4. Peel off toilet paper and spray with Crep Protect (optional) or other shoe sprays.

TO ANSWER MOST QUESTIONS:
1. Yes, you would need to wash the shoes first and let it dry. The yellow stains will start showing up during the drying process. You can use any cleaner you want. :)
2. You can use toilet paper, tissue paper, or paper towels. Important thing is it can absorb liquid.
3. The liquid in the black container is only tap water at room temperature.
4. You can let it dry however you want (in the sun or air dry).
UPDATE: I don’t dunk the tissue paper in water anymore, I just use a spray bottle to make things easier and less messy. 😊
Haven't washed my vans because i knew those yellow stains could appear. However, i just washed them tonight, hopefully yellow stains don't show up but if they do, will give this a go. 🤞🏼😣🤞🏼

I found myself on the same predicament. And searched for the remedy on RUclips. Came across your video and that’s very convenient! Washed my Vans Old Skool the other day, not washed per se but used a brush and a powdered laundry detergent and brushed it and the next day it turned yellowish on the upper most part of the shoes only. I was devastated but I’m glad I found your video! A simple wet tissue wrapped around it. Thanks man! xD

Insane!! It works so well my vans almost look brand new!! When it dried the yellow amazingly transferred on to the toilet paper. I recommend making sure the tp is completely flat on the shoe with no air bubbles. And my shoe took over a day to dry, so be sure to check it’s dry before peeling it off.

the best part about this video is that it doesn't use ANY chemicals (not including water, because it technically is a chemical). but I tried cleaning a blood stain with hydrogen peroxide, and it tinted my shoes yellow. i couldn't fix it & thought my vans were done for. until I came across this video, I did the exact same as the person in this video did. i also put newspapers inside the shoe so it could dry faster. waited 24 hours, and they look brand new. so grateful for the creator of this video

I got new Converse and i got a dirt on them so i put hydrogen peroxide on the stain the dirt left And when i looked at them they had a yellow stain but i hope this works tbh

Today, I went to RUclips in hopes of resolving it and boy I tried this technique. I put baking powder, a bit of vinger and some water and then wet the tissue there and put it on the shoes. I was feeling hopeless but after a few minutes, I realized that a certain yellow part really was coming off so I decided to just follow this and viola, my shoes are back to white like brand-new! 💕 And now I know how clean and stay away from yellow stains! I have two pairs of white canvas sneakers with what I thought would be permanent yellow stains from washing. I was ready to throw them out but then I found this video and incredibly it worked 100%!! This thing does work! For anyone who is skeptic because of the simplicity in materials you need, it does help reduce the yellow ness. My shoes as good as new!
My shoes were stained from the back to front. However, after using this method, they’re white again!! It takes about to dry completely, but the results were totally worth it!! Thank you, and I highly recommend this method.

I have this cute pair of off white canvas slip on which got yellow stains from the local soil 2 years back! Till then I have been trying to fix the stains (baking soda/soap solution/oxy bleach) but all went in vain but I couldn't throw the pair as it was cute!
Yesterday I came across this video & followed the steps & to my utter surprise, all the yellow stains just vanished from the shoe & got transferred to the paper towels! This is a real shoe saver! ❤️
P. S. I had to do this procedure of wetting the shoe & then covering it with wet paper towels thrice in order to get all the stains off as the stains were 2 years old.

This worked on my daughter's $50 white Vans. We tried everything from toothbrushes to special cleaners. We just washed them with clear laundry soap (just a touch) and cool water. Let them dry and then wrapper them in TP just like the video. We accidentally waited longer than 12 hours, but it didn't make a difference. Be sure to give yourself time to let them dry without the TP on them. Even the stains that looks like yellow drop stains came out.

Just OMG! This is the only thing that actually worked! I did this to my Lacoste white canvas sneakers that had major yellow stains after I washed them with bicarbonate soda and then in the washing machine. I even tried 3 different stain removal detergents and not one of those worked. This method removed it all from my sneakers!!! Thank you so much, you don't even know :)))
YALL CAN PREVENT YELLOW STAINS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN ON SLIP ON WHITE VANS BY:
-not drying them in a tilted way or upside down (dry them flat so all the water goes down)
-DO NOT put them in the sun it will stain them yellow
-try to only clean them with baking soda and water unless another method works for you

Well I bought white slip on vans and I wore them to school so a lot of people stepped on them and they were very dirty so I thought why not wash them... so I washed them with water and soap and let them dry for a couple of hrs. When I came back to check on them they were YELLOWWWW and so I was about to cry because they were new. I’m going to try this method and if someone already tried it and it worked let me know💆🏼♀️

KillerKev surprisingly it does the only thing is to make sure you just finish cleaning them same day, then follow the video and leave it sitting for 12-24 hours depending and there should be a noticeable difference

This worked for me! It lifts the yellow stains perfectly. Maybe more than once required.
