Honestly I just want to highlight every lyric of this, because your parallels are stunning and so deep, but I'll finish with 2:05 "crying cuz your father's gone" You showed Iroh! This is too beautiful! I could compliment this forever. Every *second* is *GOLD*! And I mean it. This is so complex, and there's so much depth. From the beginning you can just tell that he really loves his nephew and sees good in him. Not to mention that Iroh is very funny too! Oh Azula is definitely one of my favorite characters (after my favorite blazing duo :3), she's just so clever and sassy with an extra dose of badass! Oh I think I have a good idea who you're referring to X) Is it perhaps our troublesome Clarence? In general when it comes to characters the complex ones, the antiheroes and the comic reliefs are the object of my favoritism, which puts Sokka as one of my faves as well, he's hysterical and doesn't need a bending power to show how awesome he is. Aang of course is also one of my favorites, wise beyond his years, holds a deep spirituality and keeps loyal to his roots and teachings. (hence not wanting to kill Ozai, who is voiced by Luke!!) Yess it's amazing that we have so many fandoms in common! I took a look in your channel and saw Lord of the rings and Final Fantasy somewhere XD One is my main fandom and the other brings me a surge of nostalgia. :") I found my double!! ^_^ I hope you can make more vids soon, especially with fandoms like this one that seem to be forgotten, LOK might come nice in a mix between the old gang and the new one. I hope I haven't inadvertedly spoiled anything for you D: I too caught up with the seasons not too long ago, it was about time, I figured ^^ I really tried to put myself in the mindset of avoiding comparing the two shows, as they are very different despite exploring the same universe, but I have to agree with you on the new gang not giving me the same vibes as the old one...I just, I don't know, I appreciated that they focused a lot on Korra and made her journey a very complicated, not predictable and heart-rending one, but that way I felt they never scratched much more than the surface with Mako, Bolin or Asami - especially Bolin I think. I found Tenzin and Lin got more character exploration than the other members of the team, and I ended up liking them and being interested in them far more than the youngsters ^^ Aww, you are really too nice ^_^ but it's true, I guess they show how much I learned since I began this hobby, so I think they'll stay where they are (and I'm kind of attached to them even if they're terrible and I know it xD). Gosh i just finished the whole 3 seasons and wow! it was wonderful! i really love the zuko character! he is complex and yes he sometimes make the wrong choices... but he does have reasons for his confusing actions and after all he actually finds the answer!! i also really love your work! the song seems perfect for zuko:)

laurenmcquilty this series IS epic! I recently finally finished watching its sequel, Legend of Korra (which tells the story of the next incarnation of the Avatar after Aang), and it made me so nostalgic for the old characters, they are still the best to me

SunnyVids aww, well, at least it means there are still people vidding ATLA! :) I was in a huge nostalgic mode (hence this video) bc I finally finished watching LoK recently and, while I liked it (and some arcs in particular), the Krew wasn't as compelling overall as the old Gaang to me, and I ended up missing them lots! Also I've finally downloaded the English eps and I too have now an excuse to watch it all over again with the original voices :3 (whenever I watched it in Italian before I was always unsettled by the fact that Zuko's voice is the same as Arthur Pendragon's...xD)
5/10 Avatar: The Last Airbender, I analyzed that Aang did not dominate the 4 elements, at least they are known as dominating Water 🌊, Earth ⛰️ and Fire🔥, besides the only thing I would have wanted in this series that the Fire Lord and Azula had been eliminated to be Better without they.

As a side comment, I notice many of the audio voiceovers are muffled. I think you’re using audio gain in the video program itself and that’s what’s causing it. To fix this, get a program like audacity (it’s free) and amplify-edit the audio individually with clipping so it doesn’t overpower and make the static sound. Then re-save and add the sound clip back into the video editor. Regardless, amazing AMV :)

...from your comment I don't get if you actually like Korra as well or not xD personally I think LoK has its strengths, even though I like ATLA a lot more myself. LoK probably has the better villains, but ATLA's supporting cast (and Zuko most of all ♥) felt a lot more memorable to me than LoK's (where I felt way more attached to the older gen like Lin and Tenzin than the youngsters xD). For a direct ATLA sequel like you say, at least there are the comics -- and they've focused a lot on our favourite Fire Lord so far :)

laurenmcquilty this series IS epic! I recently finally finished watching its sequel, Legend of Korra (which tells the story of the next incarnation of the Avatar after Aang), and it made me so nostalgic for the old characters, they are still the best to me

HA HA He is SO good as the Joker there is this one line he did in one of the cartoons which is similar to a star wars line the joker was dressed up as a dentist and right before he tried blowing up the building he goes "may the floss be with you" ha!! NO WAY!!! that is so cool he also does Arthur and George's voices man he is GOOD!!

It's super ironic since I rewatched the series (for the fourth time, dear God) just last week (during school shhh) and this is like the third? fourth? video that's popped up in my sub box about it xD
SunnyVids aww, well, at least it means there are still people vidding ATLA! :) I was in a huge nostalgic mode (hence this video) bc I finally finished watching LoK recently and, while I liked it (and some arcs in particular), the Krew wasn't as compelling overall as the old Gaang to me, and I ended up missing them lots! Also I've finally downloaded the English eps and I too have now an excuse to watch it all over again with the original voices :3 (whenever I watched it in Italian before I was always unsettled by the fact that Zuko's voice is the same as Arthur Pendragon's...xD)

As a side comment, I notice many of the audio voiceovers are muffled. I think you’re using audio gain in the video program itself and that’s what’s causing it. To fix this, get a program like audacity (it’s free) and amplify-edit the audio individually with clipping so it doesn’t overpower and make the static sound. Then re-save and add the sound clip back into the video editor.

I love Zuko love the show Avatar the last airbender is the best series for me, I watch it every year and I was hoping that there would be continued well when he left the series avatar the legend of OO Cora was not at all as bad well damn serious I want a sequel to anything you can think well damn Legend of Kora is shit
...from your comment I don't get if you actually like Korra as well or not xD personally I think LoK has its strengths, even though I like ATLA a lot more myself. LoK probably has the better villains, but ATLA's supporting cast (and Zuko most of all ♥) felt a lot more memorable to me than LoK's (where I felt way more attached to the older gen like Lin and Tenzin than the youngsters xD).
For a direct ATLA sequel like you say, at least there are the comics -- and they've focused a lot on our favourite Fire Lord so far :)
