This is 1 of a couple cases that have haunted me hopefully we get answers finally
I kind of adopted these girls over the years. I remember being their age and hanging out with my friends. I'm reminded of how naive and innocent we are at that age. This is especially BRUTAL. I'm so glad to see movement,but at the same time CAUTIOUS

When we see something not right with older individuals with younger kids and the relationship seems strange 🤔 we all need to get involved and call the correct authorities that need the info. So hard to believe it’s been 5 years. Those poor families have went through so much with the loss of those sweet girls. And he walked free for the past 5 years enjoying life and his own family. So upsetting
Their story has always stuck with me over the years 😥 My Sister was also murdered in 2006 and my maiden name is Libby. 🙏 the family finally gets the answer they deserve and have been waiting for.

The guy arrested had his bond set at $20 million....it's definitely the bridge guy...never thought I'd see this case solved...
I think his eyes actually look very similar to the younger sketch with the kind of hooded eyelids and full face too..looked on the shorter side like this guy but I hope they have irrefutable proof

Monday kind of feels like a year away at this point! I am so so thankful that there will finally be answers. This case has haunted me from day one, and I have checked the news every single day since day one!

I resent the fact that Richard Allen was living comfortably for 5 yrs after 2 teenage girls were brutally murdered. I need for him to suffer the indignities of prison for a long time.

You can’t tell me his wife didn’t recognise him. I would know my husband just by his smell, let alone clothes, walk, and voice. I’d KNOW it was my husband! His wife needs heavy questions thrown at her by police!

the guys name is Richard Allen,, he's in custody as of Friday afternoon. arrested at his work place CVS in delphi, Indiana..
I’m really praying this is the guy. What worries me is the phrase “ arrested in connection with “. However, looking at this creeps pictures, it gives me a terribly sick feeling inside. I don’t know what’s true or not true, I read LE dug up his yard. I’m hoping he wasn’t just hiding evidence from the crime scene, but is the evil monster- it’s time for his end to come!!! To be honest, I think we’ll feel “disappointed “ with the press conference, but I know LE has been and is being very careful.
So 2 days ago there is a falling out over this case with a deputy filing a lawsuit against the Sheriff Tobias. 2 days later they make an arrest? That’s a little strange.

What took them so long? What if they're wrong? They've messed up so much for so long on this case and the last time authorities said something they told us "we're going to get them" THEM in plural
And you could have solved this an hour after it happened? Blame the SOB that committed this crime, investigation means having proof and not giving the criminal the upper hand...if you think it's that easy then become a detective
This is the biggest news, and I couldn't be more pleased, I literally prayed for this 4 days ago during my morning prayers and for 5 plus years, I said God please this is just not fair like these girls tried their darndest to leave us with answers. And don't tell me that wife didn't see his image on the news for almost 6 years straight. She knew. My regards and condolences always for the families of Abby and Libby, and to the girls rest easy sweet babies, your killer is caught!! Thank you Lord.
By the way to any potential jurors this case screams death penalty. Please don't fail us again like they did in Florida with the parkland shooter
Isn't it enough that someone has been arrested? Why do people automatically try to implicate his wife? There are a dozen good reasons that she didn't make the connection. (For example, if there are TWO or more perps, Richard Allen might not BE Bridge Guy.) I swear, it's as though some people can't be happy until they find some WOMAN to blame!

These Angels are heroes.They are the reason he got caught and only God knows how many lives have been saved because they were smart enough to snap his picture & record his voice.

I’m wondering the same. DC stated that the investigation is far from over, which leads one to wonder if there are more involved in this crime.
Wonder if they managed to get his DNA and it matched the hairs as the crime scene or something they found at his house when they served the search warrant 2 weeks ago confirmed it was him.
RUclips channels have said lots already. From the name of the suspect, where he lives, his job, and perhaps that he was even a part of the search party. I've heard from law enforcement officials from past interviews that DNA was found and gathered. But searchers were there before police, that sort of contaminates the scene. And could make it a more difficult case to win. Perhaps it's taken this long to get something more concrete. Months ago they were searching in the river a few miles from the bridge. The person arrested wasn't on anyone's bingo card, but obviously the police know so much more.
That’s what I think they finally got his DNA or maybe through investigations on DNA sites like 23 and me or some other DNA family sites

The suspect has changed his appearance. And Doug Carter when he said that already knew this guy changed it so he mentioned it in one of his speeches to mess with the guy
How many times have these families looked at this man. How many times have they been in cvs. Oh my gosh is this the only Pharmacy in town. Has he been filling the family's prescriptions. This man is so sick. I wish him to be treated the same way that he treated the girls!

Note they say it will be an "update" and no confirmation of "arrest". There is a big
difference there. Other suspects were taken in like Daniel Nations, and others for
questioning, but no arrests were made. Lets hope on Monday, they are calling in
an arrest, and some brief details of why they think this is the killer. Hope so.

It's difficult watching these videos and pictures of these Babies, smiling and laughing, knowing what we now know. Hopefully, justice is right around the corner, for the Girls and their Families.

What broke my heart when I first saw this awful crime on the news was that the victims were still little kids just starting their teenage years. They were young, sheltered. small town Indiana girls just starting to experiment with makeup and style. So innocent! Only a truly evil person would have selected them for his victims!

His name is Richard Allen. He lives (or lived at the time) 2 miles from Monon High Bridge.
This case, Angela Hammond, and the EAR/Golden State Killer were the cases I just absolutely had to have an answer to. One down, two to go.
And sadly so many more. Especially Children.. Beyond Disturbing and Sad

Just little girls still, barely teens. Indiana has been hoping & praying for Libby & Abby's families. God be with them.
I think these families could have gotten justice years ago if the police weren't so secretive. Apparently they have like a 40 second clip of this man with his voice and image, but they've only ever released the "down the hill" part to the public. It's going to be very hard to find anyone who would be able to identify that voice when you're only giving three quick words to go by. I think more of his voice should have been released YEARS ago!

Did familia DNA catch him? That could also explain the length of investigation and arrest. There is no doubt it's him from what I've watched about him online.

i followed Abby and Libby and hoped for their justice ever since the day it broke national headlines what happened to them. so disturbing im not even going to put his name in the same comment as their beautiful names, how can a person do such a thing and just return to normal life like nothing happened...someone must have noticed although from my research his wife lost her brother in the year prior and wonder if that gave him the space he needed to commit the crime and get away with it while her mind was occupied grieving and maybe the daughter just thought it was related to that... i dont want to jump to conclusions i really hope they did not know all this time or that if they did that they were the ones who finally tipped off LE. thank God they are getting the justice they have deserved for so so long.

The name of the man who was arrested has already been revealed. Apparently, his name is Richard Allen. I learned of this last night. I believe it was from the "Murder Sheet Podcast".
The girls are at peace already, they were at peace the moment they took their last breath...

To Abby and Libby's family my heart goes out to you and I hope this is the end of it what goes to trial and convicted which will give you peace because I'm pretty sure looking at this guy's face that this is the man. He looks just like the guy in the video and the first sketch released. I have to think someone in that little town recognized her m and reported it to law enforcement. Allen may have been on law enforcement’s radar for years but needed more evidence, especially physical evidence.

I have always stood by the police not handling this case the best with how information was issued out. Once the truth comes out, I feel that with the information we were given this entire time it was next to impossible to solve this as an outsider. Was it cyber was it not? Were they staged were they not? The voice and the video.
