  • A blockbuster development in the murders of two teenage girls from rural Delphi, Indiana. Liberty German and Abigail Williams were brutally murdered in the middle of the day while on a hike in 2017.
Their murders have gone unsolved despite a plethora of evidence, including video and audio of the man believed to be their killer.
Now, nearly 6 years into the investigation an arrest has been made, but police are still holding a lot of information back. Why?

It's weird how in life one minute you're worried about your job and your vacations and getting the kids to school on time and just everyday life things and then the next minute your life is dedicated to finding your babies killer and none of the rest of that stuff really even matters anymore and then you bury yourself into a so deep when it's over with you have forgotten how to live like a regular person again... I feel so bad for these parents and grandparents as a parent myself and I hope this guy gets everything that he deserves one way or another because there wasn't just two victims in this.

The part that scares me the most is this, people who murder, don't usually commit a double murder as their first crime. That being said, he has either committed many more murders of young girls or he had help. Either way, both are so horrific,scarey,nightmares...my mind just can't grasp this kind of horror. Hope my thoughts are wrong and that he did it by himself and it was his first time.

Exactly - criminal profilers and forensic psychologists will tell you that it’s _highly_ unusual that a man would suddenly turn into a double murderer at 44 (the age he was at the time). I’m a born and bread Hoosier and I was temporarily living back in IN when this tragedy occurred and am so grateful for the IN State Police and the Carroll Co Sheriff Department for their unending investigation into the murders of these two young girls. Thank you for uploading this video!
One thing I do have to say is that the HLN Trial Correspondent, Jean Casarez is dead wrong about police not caring or keeping the families in their minds while working cases lately. I’ve watched hundreds of investigative shows including Dateline, 20/20, 48 Hours, almost everything on ID and Oxygen and I’ve rarely, if ever seen police act in that way unless they are keeping things close to the vest for good reason and where the families get understandably upset because the police can’t release the info for the exact reasons mentioned on the program, to not compromise the evidence for the trial. Just watch Cold Case on Oxygen and tell me they don’t care. I find Casarez’s comment incomprehensible. Here’s what she said in part,
“…because more and more you’re seeing that in some respects, law enforcement doesn’t consider the victims anymore. They just start doing what they want to do in the last several decades.” That’s hogwash! Law enforcement is under attack from the media left and right. Detectives who work homicides bear a heavy burden to solve cases. Has the game changed? You betcha! New forensic technology has changed it so much but that’s not kept cops from notifying victims families. If anything, they’ve been able to get them answers more quickly.

Yeah I'm kind of interested to know how they died too I kind of think he stabbed them, but it is possible that he shot them too because he is a registered gun owner. He definitely posed the bodies, and took souvenirs. That was stated early on in the case, I kind of feel like they found those souvenirs. The way the officer is smiling and interviews you can tell he got his man. I'm just surprised that this guy was not caught sooner knowing that he only lived a mile and a half away from the scene. But there is a lot of information that was not correct, at first they said he was 18 to 40, Richard Allen was 45 at the time of this murder and he was only 5'4 when the police were saying the suspect was taller. Can't wait to see how they actually found out this was him. He definitely looks like the guy on the bridge though.

@@magical8013 I think the age range was an estimate based on the grainy video footage and the two composite sketches. If you recall it was also stated that the person may appear younger than he is. They were off by 5 years from the higher age range estimate, but they weren’t off about him appearing younger than his actual age. In some of the photos circulated since his arrest, which I think are fairly recent, I believe he could pass for someone younger than a late 40s to 50 year old. As for the height, where has it been officially verified, and by whom, that he’s 5ft 4”? I’ve seen one of his mug shot photos standing next to a height marker and if it’s correct the markings go up in 2 inch increments, in between the feet markings, then this makes him around or just under 5ft 7” tall. Would be interesting to know for certain.

He is unequivocally “Bridge guy” and you must wonder what reason these girls had to video him,too be so weary, sensing enough to feel how they did to secretly try to get video of him. I’ve spent hours and days comparing his audio and the audio of the perpetrator, and thought endlessly about the connections. It’s an astronomical fact that there’s a reason the girls were taking video of BG who is the accused ,and also are then recording audio of another man, then are murdered,it’s connected.
It’s not more than one man,it’s one, armed with a pistol ,what overwhelmingly looks is kept in his brown hoodie ,kango pouch, weighing it down so much the sweat shirt hangs lower than the unique jacket this man was wearing. The video she took showed so much!
I’ve had a hand gun in a kangaroo pouch, the exact same way during training and at events. It’s remarkable how easy i noticed that’s exactly what appears Bridge Guy is doing! Check the channel out ,you’ll see i’m not talking shite!
A pistol no matter the model or caliber,is heavy, especially loaded with a clip.
I compared the jacket of BG and the accused from the Wife’s FB “Mall Stalker” post, with the very unique hood. I compared the audio using the wife’s FB vacation videos, the sky lift video. If Bridge guy is the murderer, the Police definitely have their suspect.

And now that we have a man/face to see what Libby and Abby saw in their last moments is absolutely devastating (it's good they have a man, but now the families see the last face they saw and the face they watched murder them 😭) They have to continue to relive what happened to their girls every day. Life continues to move forward and some how they have to find a way to move thru it. Continued prayers for this family, that justice will be served and can give them some sense of healing. This has got to be the worst interview I have ever listened to in my entire 70 years of life. The interviewer supposedly asking questions of the grandparents is answering the questions herself in her question and leaving them... what to say ...?
hardly anything except to confirm what the question just said...... She's also constantly confirming how important she herself has been in this case instead of letting the grandparents speak their mind and their thoughts ....and what do you know..... they may say something that she... didn't think of.....

@@billblaski9523 There should have been DNA evidence on the girl's bodies and clothing. This should have been a slam dunk case six years ago. The DNA would have proved who was involved beyond any doubt. To me it looks like they are trying to pin it on Richard Allen, while protecting someone else.
Richard could be involved, but if he was they need to show the DNA proof. RA had no prior criminal record, and was right there all along not acting like a guy with something to hide or moving out of the area.
Either these police were incompetent, or they are involved in a criminal cover up themselves.

If he had a gun he could threaten them & get one girl to tie up the other. Then when one was bound he could assault the other, then move to the one that was tied up. Unfortunately it would be fairly easy to accomplish if he was armed. People like this don't often have partners. Of course there are exceptions like Leonard Lake & Charles Ng or Ian Brady & Myra Hindley. We won't know for sure until all the evidence comes to light.

    • @paulaosborne9534

I agree. I think there was someone else waiting “down the hill”, where he forced the girls. By the sounds of the one affidavit that is out, they said there was large amounts of blood, which leads me to think the girls were stabbed, since no one said anything about hearing gunshots at that time. So I thought the exact same thing as you, wondering why one didn’t run, which made me think there was 2 of them.
Who knows what really happened and all of us are just guessing at this point. But I would be shocked if they come out and say he acted alone.

@filaaa !! Well said. Completely agree. To control 2 girls he either had a gun or a partner. Personally I think the gun is most likely, but we won't know for sure until the trial when the evidence comes out. I'm hoping that the audio is released after it's submitted into evidence at trial. Or at least a transcript of what was said.

Sometimes life is like a burning desert
If the days were miles they would be a million wide
And one can get so thirsty, for one drop of mercy. You know the sands of disappointment sometimes steam the soul!

    Yes God is your oasis
