I mean they went after people who had nothing to do with it, put out an accurate sketch then took it back and released a completely different bad sketch, told people that the suspect might look younger than he is, have had DNA evidence etc. I wouldn’t say this was a great investigation. You have a town of 3000 people and a video and recording of the guy who did this it doesn’t seem like it would take almost 7 years

I don’t care how this monsters family will deal with there new life. I don’t care that their lives are probably going to be shattered I don’t care that this monster had a family. His family still gets to live what about Libby and Abby where are their rights to live a long happy life. They don’t have anymore rights that was taken the day this monster killed them. For Libby and Abby family my heart breaks every day I think about these two girls and what that has done to your family. I can’t imagine the pain that you live with every single day. I feel deeply in my soul that he is also the one responsible for the two young girls that were kidnapped from the park and moved to a hunting location in the woods. Their Names Were Elizabeth and Lyric. From Evansdale state of Iowa. No one has ever been charged with their murders and they all 4 were murdered on the 13th day of the month. These murder cases had similarly. Does anyone know what kind of vehicle Richard owned or possibly could have borrowed on the day of July 13, 2012 two witness reported seeing a large older clunky model SUV a suburban and later a 3rd witness a year later reported also seeing the same vehicle parked near the woods by the lake. So that is something to check into.

Allen's car was not described as a suv. But that shouldn't put off the investigation. The original suv sightings might not be relevant in the end to Evansdale.

I have huge respect for the police involved and their dedication. My only criticism was that they didnt stabalise the footage of the Bridge Guy. Someone on the internet has done this and it make a huge difference and can get more of a sense of how the guy walks and mannerisms. Maybe his wife would have picked up on this or other people who knew him had they done this....but anyway..... still my hat goes off to them for their dedication

Probable cause being sealed is rare but we, the public, need to respect that. There is a reason it is under seal. For the family of the victims to ask that it stays sealed, well, that speaks volumes. There is something that we, the public, do not understand. Doug Carter says this is a very complex case.. So we, the anxious public, need to trust the professionals. Doug Carter is totally respected and trusted by so many people. IMO

It's so sad, Linnys mom said she thought the day they found the killer she'd be so happy but she's not. My heart breaks for these girls and families and the whole community. Finding him will not bring the girls back but at the least we will learn what happened and why and we know he can never hurts any child ever again. I won't be surprised if they don't move the court hearing because you know all of Delphi, wants a piece of the killer but I'm sure that will happen in prison. I'm glad he's found but just to Delphi, actually without Abby and Libby, America will never be the same. When he killed those girls her hurt the whole country. God help us!!
