This song rocks !! It is hard to not think of Twister when you hear it …no one breaks it down like Eddie did …RIP to the GOAT…Keep those Van Halen reactions coming !!..
Agreed!!! I loved it the first time I heard it. It's my favorite Eddie creation of all time and I love Sammy's vocals. I wish he had used that style in other songs of theirs. Such a heavier sound!
At the end of movie the instrumental is E. V H. Pure awesomeness I highly recommend u give itbq listen. Best guitarist ever. I promise u.Its Called Respect The Wind
There is a sequel for twister being made here in Oklahoma. They just put out a casting call for extras that live in the Oklahoma city area. The sequel is called Twisters.
Humans being Judgement day Amsterdam The Seventh Seal and Big fat money are my favorite from the Sammy era. Their sound from last album Balance was spot on I think. I believe thats why Eddie named it that.
When Eddie & Sammy jumped in face to face that was real shitt Sammy didn't want to be there. He said he wrote the lyrics in 30 minutes. Him & Eddie we're not getting along at all. This was the beginning of the split.
GOD I love that era of Van Halen!!!! For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, Balance, Greatest hits…Hell…even Van Halen III. I’m with you, Suzi, I’d LOVE to go storm chase!!! I had a real close call years ago that had me petrified, but afterwards and in the years following, I love going through storms (I’m in Florida, so we’re no strangers to extreme weather). Cheers!
the Hagar version of Van Halen gave EVH a much better way to express his work. While the Roth version was exceptional rock Eddie's talent shown through in the latter version. He should have also recorded more work independent of VH it would have given the world a bigger catalog of incredible sound
Best storm chasing song ever from twister Twister is my number one favorite lol also storm chaser in training here for north carolina boiiii i loud blast this song going down the road everyday 😅
That’s what makes him EVH, pocket, pizzaz, & style. Dude was born into swing. That’s why he’s so distinctive. His dad left a mark on his whole mastery.
1996 is when the world was brought Twister. Scared the shit out of me because I was 11 and living in Kansas City at the time. I'm an Arizona native, so tornadoes weren't a reality until we lived there. After seeing it a few times, I became enveloped by the science of meteorology and as such, have been studying it since 1998. I'm a metalhead on top of being a weather nut so the mix of Van Halen and storm chasing struck a chord 🤘 Now that I live in central Texas, the storm chasing dream for me is closer to being a reality 😃
I just happen to blast an edited version of this when storm chasing. It scares the hell out of these tornadoes. So bad they run for it & I have to chase them! Hence the term Storm chaser. 😊
You should react to Good Enough and Get Up from the first VanHagar album, 5150, from 1986. These 2 songs were rockin!!! The song titled 5150 also rocks!!!
I've always wanted to do storm chasing too. But being an amputee now it would be a bit difficult. And this is my favorite vh song! And Susie is gorgeous, just saying.
Yes they are making a twister sequel to the original and Helen hunt is reprising her role the sequel would revolves around their kids Helen and Bill ) kids
@@ChrisLight1 beyond the fact that its EVH..It's standard youtube reaction rules, never pause in a solo..these guys have been doing this a while, they know this..
Try watching Twister again... it is a steaming turd of a film! Bill Paxton was a great actor RIP 🙏 & Alex Van Halen looks like Richard Ramirez and I enjoy your reviews!!!
This song rocks !! It is hard to not think of Twister when you hear it …no one breaks it down like Eddie did …RIP to the GOAT…Keep those Van Halen reactions coming !!..
Twister introduced me to van halen!
OMG! Van Halen has been around for at least 40 years! Where have you been!?😅@@EvripidouM
This isn't just one of my favorite Van Halen songs. This is one of my favorite songs period.
"Shine on!"
Agreed!!! I loved it the first time I heard it. It's my favorite Eddie creation of all time and I love Sammy's vocals. I wish he had used that style in other songs of theirs. Such a heavier sound!
I've always said this was Eddie's master piece and never never stop a reaction in EVH solo lol
This song was the first to make Eddie's vocals more prominent in the mix, as well. Most people didn't realize Ed was a baritone.
For some reason, I never caught on that Eddie was singing the ending … “Human’s … “
@@Peanutbutterb00b5 He's singing the verses, too. Sammy's just singing over him.
Loved your reaction. This is probably my favorite Van Halen song out of their entire catalog.
pretty close for me too
At the end of movie the instrumental is E. V H. Pure awesomeness I highly recommend u give itbq listen. Best guitarist ever. I promise u.Its Called Respect The Wind
Yes, yes and YES!
Absolutely it’s called respect the wind

it seems that when bands do movie soundtracks, the band breaks up soon after or someone leaves
Probably my favorite Van Halen song. By extension, Twister is also one of my favorite movies!
When Eddie & Sammy jumped in face to face that was real shitt Sammy didn't want to be there. He said he wrote the lyrics in 30 minutes. Him & Eddie we're not getting along at all. This was the beginning of the split.
So SO Bittersweet...their last song together before they broke up with Sammy...ironically one of their finest ever.
"Respect the Wind" is from this soundtrack...just Eddie and Alex, no vocals...it's UNFREEKINGBELIEVABLE>

Man, eddies guitar work that end of the solo was soooo melodic and soulful.....
the Hagar version of Van Halen gave EVH a much better way to express his work. While the Roth version was exceptional rock Eddie's talent shown through in the latter version. He should have also recorded more work independent of VH it would have given the world a bigger catalog of incredible sound

Glad ro see everyone doing VAN HALEN reactions
Thank you for keeping EVH's legacy alive. Do not stop.
"Amsterdam" live from Toronto '95, that should be your next stop.
Eddie lives on through his music!
That’s what makes him EVH, pocket, pizzaz, & style. Dude was born into swing. That’s why he’s so distinctive. His dad left a mark on his whole mastery.

The Geographers in the room... love the knowledge Suzi is throwing down!
Love this song!! and your honest reaction to it.
The video that got Sammy Hagar fired
I love that song they r my favorite band ever I got to witness Edward Van Halen in my lifetime
THE BEST BAND IN THIS WORLD: VAN HALEN IS!
I just happen to blast an edited version of this when storm chasing. It scares the hell out of these tornadoes. So bad they run for it & I have to chase them! Hence the term Storm chaser. 😊
VH FOREVER THERE MUSIC NEVER DIES
This song gets my blood flowing.
First Van Halen song I ever heard...all because of Twister. =)
Oh, last song they've very recorded
Eddie does a solo song called Catherine that that is different in a good way, the video exists here on youtube.
We may be human beings but Eddie was a superhuman being. One of my favorite songs. I believe it's some of Eddie's best work. RIP Eddie
They are filming part twister part 2 in Oklahoma now
I lived thru a F4 tornado one of the scariest 30 to 40 seconds of my life its just like they say a giant freight train sound
Tattoo Rings and Away by Cam Cole. They're under 4 mins each, and awesome, The Wolf HunterZ
Thus, the end of Sammy in the band.
You should react to Good Enough and Get Up from the first VanHagar album, 5150, from 1986. These 2 songs were rockin!!! The song titled 5150 also rocks!!!
Great song
Eterno Eddie van halen mostro da guitarra
This song 🎵 bad ass!
I've always wanted to do storm chasing too. But being an amputee now it would be a bit difficult. And this is my favorite vh song! And Susie is gorgeous, just saying.
I always thought this banger kicked ass..
It gives you energy. I miss Eddie 😢
There is a new Twister movie coming out. July 19th of next year.
Edward and Alex`s most underated tune! kick ass!
Yes it is!!!
Hey, Respect the Wind!
I've always been fascinated by tornadoes and if I had the balls for it, I would definitely be a storm chaser. Alas, not to be.
i love this movie
I miss the Sammy era of Van Halen.
Me too
Eddie cut his throat when they fired Sammy
Yes they are making a twister sequel to the original and Helen hunt is reprising her role the sequel would revolves around their kids Helen and Bill ) kids
Now do Respect the Wind
I like Van Hagar best. David Lee Roth is a showboat and all about himself. Sammy is more about the music, and it shows.
Twister is why he quit the band
@@perrdawg41 twisted sister? 😂
my dad used to chase storms with a car with no radar jus his eyes
Suzi, if I had the big manly stones necessary to do so, I'd go storm chasing with you.
Ed and Sammy weren't getting along at this point but I still love the song.
Pretty Maids- Nuclear Boomerang please!!
We keep pausing in the middle of an Eddie solo now ?....wow..
To be fair, there's like 4 solos
@@ChrisLight1 beyond the fact that its EVH..It's standard youtube reaction rules, never pause in a solo..these guys have been doing this a while, they know this..
This song was brought to you by Sammy? As in Sammy Hagar?
Great. Please React to not Enough- Van Halen, Hugo from Brazil.
Van haggar def leopard motley Crue and bon Jovi ruled the late 80's early 90's
This was the Van halen I always hoped for when Sammy joined . Instead they gave us Journey sugar coated love songs
Exactly!!! When I first heard this I said "Yes!!!! Van Halen is finally going to start making real rock songs again!!!"
Alas, it was not to be.
Me wise magic
Do you know? Wtf is she doing with you?? Lol
Eddie actually didn't like this song and really would of rather not done it.
Maybe one day you will STOP pronouncing Sammy's last name wrong!
How about shutting up and playing the song.Watching 2 stoners is really kinda boring.
Try watching Twister again... it is a steaming turd of a film! Bill Paxton was a great actor RIP 🙏 & Alex Van Halen looks like Richard Ramirez and I enjoy your reviews!!!
