I know you're not going to believe me, but I was totally thinking that same thought as Travis when you were talking about signing up for a course. Swear to God.
First, I love your reactions, and I’m always watching your channel. I was at one of the two shows that make up this concert film, I was 13, a young musician, just getting started playing guitar, and I can say this concert changed my life. It’s so great to see how many people truly love this. Thank you for reviewing and reacting to it.
Loved this reaction! Hey I know exactly what Sammy is talking about!! But it applies to other things too...anything really. Not to get too nerdy on ya'll, but I was building a World War 2 German Panzer IV Tank model & hadn't totally finished it yet before I started another tank, a Panther!! :) So yeah...I gotta finish what I started!! :)
Not sure about Sammy's but David Lee Roth's yellow spandex pants he wore in the "Panama" music video were on display in a glass case at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlantic City New Jersey. This was back in 2005ish when I was there so I'm not sure if they rotated it to another Cafe by now (I would assume so) but nonetheless, they were donated to the Hard Rock by DLR personally.
Nooo…you talked over it when Sammy said exactly what he needed in the audience sing along section…I was looking forward to the look on your faces for that! This is from their “Right Here, Right Now” concert and album…which is one of my favorite live albums of all time!
I saw them twice. Once in I think 1977 or 1978 at the Palladium in NYC on 14th street. Sorry, don't remember much of that concert other than the first and last song when Alex set his drums on fire and played them during "I'm on Fire.". Back then, the Palladium had an unofficial policy that you had to share anything you brought in with the row you were sitting in. Yeah, that was 90 minutes of my life I will never remember. The other time was for the 5150 tour. It was the last show of the tour in New Haven Connecticut. The same show were the popular video of "Eruption" is taped from. That one I remember much better. LOL. The only disappointment of the night had nothing to do with the concert. My buds and I are from NY. Last call in NY is at 3:45 am. Imagine our surprise when we got out of the concert and went to the Rathskeller for Yale University, only for them to say "Last Call" as we walked in the door. It was freaking 11:15! We were going there because before the concert at a diner an attractive young waitress our age, that filled her outfit out just right, with olive skin and long black hair in a bun was flirting with me and she said she would bring her friends to the Rathskeller after the concert to meet up with us. So when we saw the dam bar was closing shortly, we figured no way they were going to show. But to our surprise, they walked in 15 minutes later and took us to a private party. If you get my drift. :) So, two best concerts EVER!!! LOL.
Suzi I loved that you put Travis in the hot seat making him uncomfortable.......lol It came out that Eddie was going to contact Sammy and Dave for one more concert tour as Van Halen until his cancer derailed those plans. Awesome song!
The footage is obviously taken from different concerts. It's funny that everyone remembers wearing the same clothes two nights in a row because they filmed the video - except Sammy who took his shirt off. One of my favourite VH song of all times though.
The story goes that Sammy was home at 3 am starting to get nusy with his wife when Edward shows up at his house with a song idea and dragged Sammy away to complete it. Sammy was a incomplete from what he was starting and by the time they finished the song his wife was asleep, lol
Saw them on this tour. Such an amazing show. They had a band called Private Life, that Eddie produced, open up for them. They have a few videos on RUclips and the lead singer, Kelly Breznik, was amazing.
Been a VH fan since the 80's, nobody comes near EVH. Mikey on bass gives backing vocals such an awesome sound. Every time I hear VH, the volume control gets set accordingly. Please you must do "not enough" from the Balance album.
You should check out Sammy Hagar on Howard Stern performing this. He's in his 70s now but still sounds amazing. Michael Anthony, the bassist in Van Halen, still works with Sammy all these years later. Definitely worth a checkout in your free time
@kenkonwick6660 hey, at least DLR always wore performance wear. Sammy always looked like he was digging around in his dirty clothes hamper 5 minutes before show time! 😂
Suzy, you are super cute and very cool looking BUT you need to scoot over a lil cuz you're blocking the videos a little too much. No offense, I just need to see all of those luscious musicians from the good old days. Can you blame me? Thanks and keep making great reactions! Love all y'all lots❣️
Ya , Finish What You Started......great song that reminds me of motivating out of shape, beet red walruses trying to finish 30 jumping jacks and 6 pushups. Just finish it and pretend those exercises are those 23 Big Mac's and strawberry shakes inhaled every day.....right kiddos? Easy work and mind over matter{a lot of it}.
Awesome live performance. RIP Eddie.
BTW, don't sleep on Michael Anthony's base lines on this. Its pure enriching fire
And his backing vocals. He's as much of the Van Halen sound, as Eddie's playing.
100% agree
The Mighty Van Halen was always about the live performance. Never a disappointment!!!!
Great job guys thanks for all the VH reacts. RIP Eddie.
I agree Suzi 😂😂
I have heard this song hundreds of times and I had no idea thats what they were talking about 😂
That was absolutely incredible
I know you're not going to believe me, but I was totally thinking that same thought as Travis when you were talking about signing up for a course. Swear to God.
So few bands sound this good live...Sammy is unbelievably good live...
saw them twice on this tour...once with Alice In Chains opening...luck boy I was
Try "Source of Infection" from their OU812 album! Guitar perfection!
one of my favorite VH songs ever. thank you. i do love sammy hagar.

Awesome song!
I was at one of those nights prego with my second baby!! I'm a longtime Sammy fan!

The most bluesy VH tune.
don't forget apolitcal blues
@@wong5150 but that's a cover, not a VH tune.

Private life was great, I thought it was the ou812 tour though … but from my home state Louisiana…
Baby animals opened for them at the fort Wayne show
I.THINK OUR LOVELY LADY WAS TALKING WHEN SAMMY SAID
"I NEEEEEEEED SOME P________"
Yep...I watched just to hear Sammy sing that and they totally missed it....hope they've seen it by now
Whatever her name is, she talked over the best line in the entire performance.
Van Halen/Hagar….The Best and yes….Very Spicy!!
Travis telling her she looks gd she's like then it would jus be pants didn't impress her you definitely was sinking 😂😂😂😂
Travis turned beet red lol
Yall are so damn funny!😅
I'm too tanned to blush lol

OMG Travis and Suzi you are so cute.
Van Hallen - Right Now (Live)
"I NEED SOME ___________"
Are you ready for Liliac's "Carousel"? NO, you are NOT......
This was always my fav Sammy era track from them.
But you would have thought by this stage they could afford a mic each 😏
Look up 4 Faced By Mista Ruler Himself Please!
WE WANT A MISTA RULER HIMSELF REACTION!!! PLEASE BLESS US WITH IT!
THE SONG IS CALLED 4 FACED
I love this song too!💯🙏🔥
For the love of God would someone PLEASE tell Suzi how to pronounce "compilation"
Good ol Sammy in his PJs. Worst dressed rocker that ever existed. 😂
Nice one Mr fashionista. Lol as opposed to dlr and his assless spandex??? Rotflmao
@kenkonwick6660 hey, at least DLR always wore performance wear. Sammy always looked like he was digging around in his dirty clothes hamper 5 minutes before show time! 😂
