SUPER helpful and informative reveiw. Thank you so much. This helped me decide which one to buy today. Thank you so much for such detailed comparisons, including the lid mechanisms and how easy it is to hold/remove the water reservoirs
Awesome review captain. Just got the essentials this past black friday after my Keurig Mini broke down after 2 years. Even though Keurig says this is an entry level machine, sure does feel superior and has many additional features that the mini does not have. It was truly a winner for me.
I was very lucky because I went to buy a coffee maker and I found the K-Express Essential for only $27 at Walmart Puerto Rico and new, the truth is that I bought it without thinking and I love it.
Thank you so much for this review. I just ordered the k express-essentials ($35 at Walmart right now) last night in red because the other one was sold out in red. I was wondering if there was a significant difference and this review just clarified everything and has confirmed that I had made the right decision.
Excellent review very detailed the demonstration’s on point I’m happy that you pointed out the cake up express does not have a strong brew button only the one on the left side because on the website it says the K express which is the way the coffee maker has a strong blue button so I’m grateful that I came across your review.
I just received my K Express this week, our old K200 would get stuck open and stopped recognizing our reusable K Cups, it served us for 5+ years with at least 5-6 brews a day so it was time for an upgrade. I love the compact size and how fast it brews/heats up. Of course I had to get another Keurig with the strong button! Very good machine, you can’t go wrong with Keurig, just wish the model had different colours.
My experience with splatter is almost always based on cup size. With taller mugs like you have, splatter is little to none. I typically use a smaller tea style cup and I get my fair share of splatter 🙃 Great review.
I recently purchased the K-Express specifically for the strong brew setting. I use my own grounds (Folger's Black Silk) and I can tell the difference between a regular brew and the strong one. I really like this machine, the only negative is it didn't come with the water filter like my last machine (K-50) did. So buyer beware!😆
Excellent review - I needed help because this is to keep at my daughter's. I have a Keurig (regular one which I've had for 7 years). My daughter has expresso coffee makers - which I don't like. Thank you for the great review. It was extremely helpful.
I like the look of the one on the left Express, BUT I usually brew my coffee with 6 ounce button to make it a bit stronger. I wonder if the strong button really would make the same amount of difference since the water is in contact with the grounds longer. I used to have a B70 years ago. Now I am using a friend's Hamilton Beach when I just want a quick cup. I don't know if Keurig and Hamilton Beach use the same methods -- the Hamilton Beach doesn't have a hot water tank and heats the water instantly as it comes out. I don't know if Keurig is still using hot water tanks. I have noticed that with the Hamilton Beach there is more clear/pale coffee first, whereas with Keurig (we have all kinds at work over various floors) it always seems to start out pretty dark first.. maybe more pressure.
Yeah that is my experience also with Keurig they start out strong and then the it looks like water coming out at the end. The 6oz button is important to me also.
Right now the Keurig Express is on sale on Keurig's website for about the same price as the Express Essentials from Walmart. At equal price points, does the strong setting on the Express give it an edge over the essentials? Or would a strong 8 oz brew (Express) equal the taste of a 6 oz brew (Essentials)? Which would you recommend?
Great Question. The express if it was the same price as the essentials I would get the express. I find I don't use the 6oz setting much and the bold on 8 oz is really good.
Between the regular K-Express (with the bold button) and the K-Slim, which would you go with? I'm stuck between them. The Slim has multistream, and costs a bit more but is older. This is so confusing...
Great question. The k express is a little tricky sometimes using a reusable k cup. The best reusable k cup is the Keurig My K Cup, with this k cup you have to remove the lower needle basket. The reusable k cups that are pink or black that look like k cups can be a little tricky to use. The machine likes some more than others. Perfect pod seem to work the best but even with them sometimes you have to push the brew lid down just a little while you are pulling the handle down. don't just use the handle or it could break. I have found these works the best. amzn.to/3qC76Ny
Is there much difference between 8oz and 6oz cups? I want to get the $70 K-Express, but I'm afraid I'll be missing out on the stronger 6oz cups. I'm new to coffee, so I don't have a preference just yet.
I don't brew anything on the 6oz setting. I find the 8oz setting is just right so I would get the one with the bold setting. it looks a little better also.
Screw that 8 10 12 one...wife likes 6 and thats IT...I like 10...and that stronger brew button...bunch of crap it does NOTHING had one...simpler is better 59 bucks at wal mart
@@queenmodegaming I use mine everyday. The are not insulated so the sides get a little hot but I don't mind that. I have about 10 of these and I did have one crack about a month ago, but I had been using it everyday for about 6 months, the others are doing great and no problems. I would really recommend them, I love them!!!
My mom has the newer one and I have the essential and the cheaper one works just as good 👍🏾

You should coach other reviewers on how to make effective video. You’re great!. Very clear, informative and not slow paced! Thanks.
Wow thank so much
Very helpful! Thank you for this comparison!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for a great review on these. You helped me make my decision.
Good choice!

I like your video reviews. You use a temp gauge. I like a really hot cup of coffee. I like the first one k express..
Thanks!!!

Thanks for sharing! Thanks for Watching and your kind words!!!
Love your reviews! Keep it up!
Glad you like them!
I just saw it at Walmart! And you are making me want to go back for it. 😅
Funny! Thanks for Watching!

At the Bay online got the one on the Left for the strong setting

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for your response! I'll do that then...so excited!
me too the Bay offered 10 dollars off so both machines were 60 dollars in Canada
The Walmart Keurig Essentials pours out with 2 slits versus the video I saw you press 8 cups and it pours full. How to fix that?
Is the 12 Oz less strong than the 6 Oz setting?
Yes its pretty watered down. K cups only hold 2 tablespoons of coffee

K express
Sorry but the Amazon is now $80 whereas the Walmart is still under $55. Which one do you prefer? Thanks. 🤔
Walmart essentials is a better buy
Is the strong feature worth it
He said it didn't make a difference much in taste.
my keurig won't turn on when I press the on button model k26
Reusable K Cups do not list this model as being compatible. Which reusable cups are compatible?

By any chance is the Keurig K-Express Coffee Maker a 2.0 ? Thanks
All new Keurig's are 1.0 the 2.0 was a short lived that did not work out very well.
😀

Does anyone knows how many Watts are each of those? Thanks. Want to use one in my truck with the inverter.
1,500 watts

Thanks 😁 You can get them on Amazon 6 of them for $20 bucks. amzn.to/3gJVGD9
These are glass mugs right ? How did yours hold up I just went to the reviews they say they fall apart east …
