Pro tip: use Blender or other 3d rendering software to match the lighting, create materials and add imperfections to make this look real instead of floating power point slides with no shading
You can also add the lights in ae and you can actually get pretty detailed with it and a little bit of composting without having to leave the application
@@Erōk-w1d You don't have to recreate the entire scene if that's what you're saying, the process of merging the fake elements with the real ones is pretty much the same, you film your background video and everything goes on top of it using layers. You could create a rough copy of it quickly if you own an Iphone that being said, Iphones can use their lidar scanners for photogrammetry-type work, where you're able to scan the environment and turn it into an imperfect and somewhat jagged model (though the lighting and shadows on that is baked on the texture itself since they're just picture projections on the model, so you can't move objects in a photo-scanned environment). Other than that, you have 2 options: - Go full cg and put everything together yourself from scratch, either using existing assets or creating your own. - Sit down and go full photogrammetry process on it, using a camera to take thousands of pictures from different angles to then compile them all into one high quality model. This is much slower than the Iphone approach but it has the potential to yield incredibly high quality results. This is actually the method professionals use to create 3d assets for movies, games, shows and ads (for anything that exists and can be photographed anyway). With the base video involving a human though I highly doubt you'd be able to pull that off since it takes a long time and there's no way anyone will be still enough to produce perfect pictures compared to the rest of the data.
This would be really cool if you could have the floating pictures be pictures of you sitting on the bench. So as the camera passes by, it matched the pose you are holding on the bench from that particular angle. They could all be taken from that footage. No need for a second photo shoot.
@@mr-lacker and yet it has not been done. Maybe he just doesn’t care enough? Or my idea is just worth it. Hahaha. I’m gonna go with, this guy has better things to do. Oh well! Gotta try
Use key frames to move them slightly Place a keyframe at the beginning of the clip And thn go at the end tweak the position a little bit and place another key frame and done And about shadows just select the ground area when you had done 3d tracking and create a null and a ground plane Duplicate your Polaroids one by one darken them decrease the opacity add some gaussian blur and place those dark ones beneath the floating ones according to the camera movement and the scene and you are good to go
That's an ok way to do that better way of doing it is by exsporting the movement info and put it in blender or cinema 4d render it out as alpha and that way it looks better

Is it possible to turn him into a 3d scene for the photos to go on though? If so I would love to know how
My suggestion would be to actually rig those pictures, and make the folds too

So he can actually do this in minutes
@@mr-lacker ha. Probably not.
@@PlayNowWorkLater why not, he just have to get to the frames, capture and replace the images with the newly captured ones.?

its your idea. so produce it
Super dope
The hard part is we need a friend
I swear to god, only reason why most beginner filmmakers decide to abandon their hobby, is because of the "no friend to hold the camera" issue.
@@janbruhovsky7247never been a problem for me I just use a timer on my camera.
easy fix is to make a camera track. It’s surprisingly easy, you can do it with Lego and you can drive the camera with more Lego belts
This reminds of 8 letter music video of whydontwe ❤
Now make them move slightly and maybe how to add their shadows to the floor and couch
Use key frames to move them slightly
Place a keyframe at the beginning of the clip

Duplicate your Polaroids one by one darken them decrease the opacity add some gaussian blur and place those dark ones beneath the floating ones according to the camera movement and the scene and you are good to go
