I remember watching the SuperDuck review Peter did a million years ago and pissing myself laughing. As soon as I saw this video I clicked as fast as I possibly could.

Today, whenever I "Tell Your (My) Friends" about Worst Games Ever (across all 3 Ben & Peter ventures), this is the episode I direct them to. Still the Winninner of All in my opinion!
As a Dutch person I would like to point out 'Grachtenracer' means canal racer.
Indeed. A gracht is a moat (like around a castle or other defensive works) or an inner city canal. A large straight canal outside of a city is just a kanaal.
Adding to that: I've never played the Playstation version, but in the PC version you do the same set of races 3 times but in different leagues, each with opponents in faster cars. I'm not sure anymore if you can keep your old car in the new league or get a starter car in each one, but I think it's that second one. Or maybe you're forced to buy one ofthe eligible cars or something. This is also where not finishing first in a race comes in. If you lose enough points to where you're not first overall at the end of the season you don't promote to the next league, and you get to do another cycle of all the tracks in your current league. You do keep all your money, cars and upgrades though, and you might even get to start saving up for a good financial start to the next league when you do make it next time around.
I must admit I liked these games pretty well at the time. Sure, I was a kid, but outside of the original A2 racer maybe I feel like they also have enough good qualities that they can be enjoyed.

I enjoyed this game as kid, found this video due to looking up old games for nostalgia.
I don't remember this game being bad. Saying this before i've watched it incase it releases some "REPRESSED MEMORIES".

I've never laughed so hard with this series! The phone call skit was hilarious!
I laughed so hard and uncontrollably at the phone bit that I dropped my stuff. My hubby says, “nothing is THAT funny.” I told about the chase…”did you bring your handcuffs?” So fast saying “I brought my handgun!” And my stubborn reluctant husband said “ok that’s pretty funny”.
Hearing Ben Potter say, "Fuck you, pig." has aged like fine wine, and I say that with the utmost sincerity.
The QUICK SERVICE part genuinely made me weep tears of amusementality... I hope this doesn't upset Peter but this was better than his Undue Review, mostly due to the witty bantering of the greatest comedy duo that have EVER lived 😘

Jules is great but I had to eventually just unsubscribe from Whatculture after Tiny Peter and Big Ben left cause it just wasn't the same. That and Scott seriously gets under my skin. I don't know why, he just annoys me and he was appearing on more and more videos.

Holy cow, I think I had this game when I was a kid. I'd completely forgotten about it but this video has brought back so many memories!
The PC version was better. The graphics were smoother, there were more cars in a race, there were more cars available (including a snart car and GM), police would chase the AI opponents and you could unlock a delorean.
And you could hack the settings in notepad and give yourself a bazillion in price money for coming last.

The reason they refer to the Audi TT as the Horch DD is because the chap who founded Audi was called August Horch. He named the company Audi because that is the Latin translation of Horch
I though Audi was a merger between a load of German brands in the 50s? The AU bit is from Auto Union which were most famous for running pre war Grand Prix cars in what was then the closest thing to Formula 1.
@@mr8I7 fraid not. Mr Horch set up a manufacturer originally called Horch which he lost control of hence why he founded another company with the Latin version of his name. That original Horch company, Audi and 2 other local companies merged together to form auto union (hence the 4 rings to represent the 4 different brands all merged together). Didn't expect to get a reply on this 2 years later!!

London Racer was the first game I ever played on the PS2. When my parents bought me one for my birthday, they said I could use it for the couple of weeks prior to my actual birthday as long as it was PS1 games that I’d bought with my own money, thereby saving proper PS2 titles as part of my present. IIRC my funds extended to a Star Trek game, the Die Hard FPS, FIFA 99 and London Racer. They kept me going until I had Wipeout Fusion, Gran Turismo and Top Gun to get my teeth into. I don’t remember London Racer being that bad tbh!

BTW, driving school is definitely a thing in the US. I used one to learn how to drive.
Here we just had driver's ed classes at our high school. There wasn't really a separate place for it.
I know they have classes for adults to learn to drive. I guess that could be called driving school.
Just Emily I took driver's ed too but the company running driver's ed also had a school. And yeah there are also driving schools here for adults.
They teach you to drive in high school? In the UK we have loads of private driving teaching companies and we take the qualification at a test centre. But you can take the test whenever you feel ready, even with no lessons

I think it's unfair to judge a game that had to be modified to be able to run on a slow console.
The PC version of London Racer is the real version, which much better physics, graphics, more choices and less spelling and grammar mistakes.

I remember the Davilex game A2 Racer. It was pretty fun way back when, but I played it a couple of years ago on a modern PC and it looks like the frame rate or something isn't locked. When you tap forward the car speeds of at the speed of light and slams into everything.

Grachten means canals. Its mostly bad literal translation from dutch to english. Something like the old japenese to english translations but slightly better.
Horrible game the devs was so lazy to make this game, they left many misspelled words.
