2:23 There is an 8th game but it must be unlocked. I found this out by complete accident when i was going through each mini game completing them on every difficulty ( I’ve had alot of spare time recently ) and the game is titled “phlegm”. It’s a game where you have to match images together from a map ( the images are of pirates ) and it plays like snap. I just thought I’d mention it.
They actually went bankrupt a few years ago. As poor as the game is, I was actually sad to hear it. I mean if all the bad video-game creators stop making games then what the hell am I supposed to do in my spare time?!
Funnily enough I ADORE series 1 of Little Britain. Especially for when it came out it was some of the smartest and funniest shit on British TV. Then, sadly, almost immediately, it lost everything. S2 and S3 do NOT need to exist. I mean, okay, S1 did copy the formula every so often but it was kept different ENOUGH to keep it enjoyable, at least - and when it wasn't copying the formula, the skits were really well-written and actually pretty damn subtle with how they were acted. At least, compared to S2 and 3. Once those seasons aired, Little Britain was a phenomenon - and it went SO far to Lucas and Walliams' head that it's cringey. Every skit was recycled - the same EXACT jokes but in different locations over and over again - the scripts were getting shit - the audience laughter was overused - and the worst thing was that ANY slight hint of a catchphrase or joke was always SCREAMED at the audiences that time around. Like they KNEW how well the show was doing and how 'funny' they were, so all they figured they'd have to do is scream catchphrases and scream every other line to be funny again whenever they used the same jokes, which was often (case in point, Emily Howard - the character just gets louder, dumber and more unfunny in every succeeding season, while doing the EXACT same jokes). It's a shame because I really do love series 1, I just have no fucking idea what happened. Might have been for the sake of printing money, I dunno. It worked, whatever it was!
Little Britain is a garbage bin version of The League of Gentlemen. Ironically, a survival horror game set in Royston Vasey sounds like something someone would like to play
@David Meads I was about to say, that Scots are in no position to talk about humor since they made "Chewing the fat", but... here you are... What else do you like? Rab C. Nesbitt?! Is there a line you wouldn't cross, you deprave creep?!!
Over the years I've seen people accuse Ricky Gervais of destroying the reputation of Little Britain (and a lot of other "classic" comedy shows). All I can say to this is dude, it NEEDED to be destroyed. Oh, by the way, that part where you say about the editor dubbing a laugh track over Lucas and Walliams' antics? That was never done on the UK version - that's the reaction of the live audience who was watching the show. Yeah, let that sink in.
Little Britain is so awful that it destroyed it legacy itself for the most part. It received positive reviews in its early days, when that kind of comedy might have seemed new and fresh, with some even comparing them to Monty Python, but it has really aged poorly and doesn't hold up in the slightest. While it showed some signs of life in its early days, in its later seasons it quickly became obvious that it was just an unfunny, uncreative mockery of fat, old, dumb, gay, etc., people. Which would have been half as bad if it would have at least done it in a funny, original way, but instead it overly relied on catchphrases, running gags, wigs, fatsuits, drag acts and other unfunny nonsense you thought would have died out since the late 80s.
@MrBipson You know there's only so far the whole "get thicker skin" thing can go, right? Eventually, you'll end up stopping and thinking that maybe there's something else wrong, than just the people complaining about it. You know... If you had some shred of self-awareness, that is.
Ironically, Ricky Gervais has done a bang-up job destroying his own reputation, by basically just stooping to similar school bully-type lows, that Tennings essentially described Little Britain of doing.
And to think I have had this game sitting on the shelf gathering dust since i was a shitty little teenager. Might give it to somebody I hate as a present for next christmas.
You actually managed to make the clip at 5:20 a lot funnier than any other scene in Little Britain. Perhaps this will be the next generation of canned laughter - canned commentary?
Just to let you know, the frog mini-game was based on a single sketch of a woman who was obsessed with frog merchandise, but when her friends buy her a real frog for her birthday she's so terrified of it that she ends up killing it. And the reason why "Emily" the transvestite was playing football was because there was a sketch in the show where he's walking with his friend and a football lands near him, and he's suddenly overcome with the urge to play football. But apart from that, you got it all spot-on, this game is downright terrible XD
10:35 YOOOOOO! God, that takes me back. Anyone here remember the series "Is it a good idea to Microwave This?" Seeing that disc get nuked takes me right back... so nostalgic.
I did the same, i actually found this show funny at age 16. Now i'm deeply ashamed and watching those sketches again is so weird, like i'm disgusted with myself
Around when this game was released, Metro's game review Gamecentral said that the game publisher refused to give them a copy of the game to review. As they knew Gamecentral would rip the game apart, so even they know the game is garbage. lol
really liked your point (my best friend tried to get me to rewatch that show recently 😭) about bullying but you also say it appeals to "retards" which is a bit hypocritcal.. we all know the term originates from a medical term for developmentally disabled people, when considering that they are extremely vulnerable and not looked after in our society properly, i don't understand the humour in it. as they can't actually defend themselves you rarely hear it defended like other slurs are.
It's hard to pick a favorite among so many great tracks, but "The Greatest Love of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Blackwood976, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album.
in case anyone wants to know the last level is a stupid memory game in which you have to match gay pirates and yes i did not make that up, it's based on the mr mann sketch

8:25: Fun fact: Little Britain: The Video Game was actually banned in Germany due to this level. This caused the game to be accused by Germans for homophobia. The game was then indexed by the BPjM (which is Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Media for short) and was eventually banned altogether in Germany.
I remember really loving the first season of little Britain, but hated the next 2 seasons because of their use of of gross humour and starting to realise how repetitive the show actually was. Like the maker of this video, I was 12 at the time. I watched it again recently, and the show definitely doesn't hold up. I recently also found out that Tom Baker, the fourth doctor (the best doctor who), did the voiceover for this show, but even that couldn't save the show

I LOVED early Little Britain when I was younger but as it went on it became the British equivalent of Family Guy (which I also found funny as a dumb kid). Dark humour can be great when it's done well but when you're just screaming the same repeated jokes to a fake recorded audience for too many seasons it loses its shock value. The sad truth is Little Britain was one of the funniest things to come out of this country in the last decade or so, and I don't mean that as a compliment to the show but more a comment on the state of modern comedy.
I've always considered this my worst game ever, and to see this pop on finally on RUclips with gameplay footage and everything after all these years made me do a backflip when I saw the thumbnail. Sub'd. Really enjoy your humour and analytical styles.
Infact the connection with the cds in the Vicky Pollard mini game is the sketch where meets with her social worker and swaps the baby for a Westlife CD
British sketch shows took a weird fucking dive in the 2000s. Little Britain, The Catherine Tate Show and *shudder* Bo Selecta were just so lazy, relying on the same one-joke characters and mind-numbing catch-phrases in every god damn episode for YEARS. Sold-out Little Britain live tours where they'd just perform skits taken straight from the episodes were even a thing. It's populist entertainment at it's worst.
I remember seeing it in the 'Official Playstation 2 Magazine' and thought it was a joke cover they put together. Then I found out it was an actual game. Times were hard.
I mean I get where you’re coming from and all by claiming the humour itself is dumb (which it is for the most part) but I think calling anybody who finds it funny an idiot is a bit too far. It’s humour so it’s purely subjective meaning an idiot could hate it and a generally clever person could love it. It simply depends on the person not really the intelligence of that person. Personally I know the humour is practically brain dead but it’s a guilty pleasure for me... also I’m a sucker for offensive humour honestly.
If the show is supposed to be funny, then why doesn't it have a filter that makes it clearer or something, it legit looks like it's a serious movie, where anytime the wheelchair guy could brutally murder the other guy
Yeah lol it's shot like a grimy gross-out horror movie. The show's rancid vibes already make me feel gross as is but combine that with the visuals and you have the perfect recipe for profoundly uncomfortable television (and not in a good way)
I still like some of the skits like the lady with the dog "If you loved me you would." They definitely pushed the line on gender, race, sexuality, etc.

Really agreed with this review. Thanks for shaming this unintelligent excuse for comedy and the people who don't realise how crap it is. A well deserved like and subscribe.
George Snow It's completely unfunny garbage and he's criticising it because many uneducated people liked it for reasons those with a brain can't fathom. Offensive =/= Humour
Beardy McShades True. I'm an American and grew up in the ghetto and know better than this. Also I had to take special ed classes as a child so this really hits home for me especially being around some kids in wheelchairs, not all disabled people act like this come on now. I agree this crap is just discriminatory and offensive.
The only thing i disagreed with is when he said fat people are a minority (i get and understand body shaming is a thing) but fat people shouldnt be on the same level as gays and racial minorities
I've been bullied my entire life and at one point I became suicidal. Bullying is serious you can't deny that I've almost committed suicide four times but the thoughts of my family stopped me i don't really have a high self esteem right now because of it
But then again... Think about what you are capable of doing, of you can do, of what you will do... That you have what it takes to do great things in life.
I'd never seen Little Britain before this and Call Me Kevin's playthrough. I tried to watch a clip of Vicky Pollard, and got so annoyed I walked out of my own house for a cigarette.
Hold on you first pointed out that Vicky pollard can't skate very well in the show, then you complain that in the mini game of her skating she performs badly???? Sounds like the developers did well
bloodrunsclear it’s not hard at all to understand. The American accent is shoved down our ears because of modern media, we’re probably used to more accents than Americans.
7:28 To be fair, that was the point of the skit. "Emily" would be in full drag saying "I'm a lady"and acting ladylike before doing something a man would do. Or use his (normal David Walliam's) voice. Like I think the scene you used with "Emily" being arrested was a example of that.

this show is shit but i still cant stop quoting "YEA BUT NO BUT YEA BUT NO-"
Season 2 of Extras is a very good analogy for most catchphrase comedies.
I highly recommend Extras to anyone who hasn't seen it.
I remember having this atrocious video game and hilariously find the hard mode easier than the easy mode. How the fuck can a video game studio screw that up?!
I once bought this game thinking i would like it... dear god was i wrong
Ok the "I, Love, Cake, Go!" Bit did get a laugh out of me... only because it's so bizarre.
Really agreed with this review. Thanks for shaming this unintelligent excuse for comedy and the people who don't realise how crap it is. A well deserved like and subscribe.
Shut it
A crossdresser collecting CDs? I can't believe it took me that long to get the joke
I thought i was watching worst games you've never played, not "winge about a tv show because you're offended that it offends other people"
George Snow It's completely unfunny garbage and he's criticising it because many uneducated people liked it for reasons those with a brain can't fathom. Offensive =/= Humour
George Snow He doesn't find it funny. And he was relatively calm when talking about the merits of the show.
At the end when you said "well, there is one use" literally the first thing that came to mind was putting it in the microwave 😂
I was tipping the toilet.
I was really enjoying this video until you took a step onto the soapbox near the end.
@@DJBSharpMusic Little Britain wasn't as bad as South Park
Beardy McShades True. I'm an American and grew up in the ghetto and know better than this. Also I had to take special ed classes as a child so this really hits home for me especially being around some kids in wheelchairs, not all disabled people act like this come on now. I agree this crap is just discriminatory and offensive.
The only thing i disagreed with is when he said fat people are a minority (i get and understand body shaming is a thing) but fat people shouldnt be on the same level as gays and racial minorities
Fat people aren't the minority anymore. There are more fat people than skinny in Britain now...
I've been bullied my entire life and at one point I became suicidal. Bullying is serious you can't deny that I've almost committed suicide four times but the thoughts of my family stopped me i don't really have a high self esteem right now because of it
Maybe you are a dingus
Now that's just cruel!!!
The Swolest
Yes he is.
But then again... Think about what you are capable of doing, of you can do, of what you will do... That you have what it takes to do great things in life.
When you bitch all day about how everyone bullied you - no wonder they do that.
Sounds like the developers did well
Sailor Sedna yes I did but by definition she is a bad skater, so perhaps this was intentional to make her perform badly.
I seriously thought that was Rebel Wilson on the game cover
I can barely understand any of Little Britain.
It must be like a english person trying to watch Justified O_o
bloodrunsclear that makes no sense, why would a English person have trouble watching justified
It was sort of a joke XD
In that Justified is a pretty darn implicitly 'American' show with a lot of really down-home accents on display.
bloodrunsclear it’s not hard at all to understand. The American accent is shoved down our ears because of modern media, we’re probably used to more accents than Americans.
Personally I prefer to stick with The League of Gentlemen, similar kind of show, but it's actually funny
didn't think I'd ever see someone over analyse Little Britain
you forgot one detail. Tom Fucking Baker narrates.
ben boro He's probably the only thing I find funny in it
Comedy isn't subject. What you personally find funny is subjective but comedy is very much it's own thing
This seems like the game you would have regretted buying after a midnight drunken shoppin spree
I was on board with this review until you went full PC-Police at the end.
I enjoyed the first two seasons of the show personally, the third season was an abomination and this game is the worst i've ever played

To be fair, that was the point of the skit. "Emily" would be in full drag saying "I'm a lady"and acting ladylike before doing something a man would do. Or use his (normal David Walliam's) voice. Like I think the scene you used with "Emily" being arrested was a example of that.
Fancy seeing you here
"in reality, he doesn't need his wheelchair at all"
Where HAVE I heard THAT before?
ahem ZilianOP
