Oui I don’t think it’s fucked up at all, it’s just a very unique and unusual melody, which is what I like about Kikuo’s music. If you want to hear more of his unique melodies I’d recommend his KIKUOWORLD albums. They’re really interesting
The only thing that makes me sad is the idea that the subject of the song, who found peace at night/asleep, probably overdosed on a sleep aid. The song does flatline at the end, and that’s the only thing that really comes to my mind.
