What a great mixed haul for your money. Loved this, don't usually shop at Asda but will definitely go and look for the yellow products. With all those yellow things your trolley looked happy xx
Dodged a bullet there with the tea bags wouldn't wish that on anyone I had the unfortunate pleasure of trying that once and it tasted like it was just a bag filled with soil 😅 can't beat Yorkshire tea
Hi again Katie: If you have lots of apples: peel, slice and cook in pot with sugar, cinnamon, pinch of salt and add a 1/3-2/3 tsp of tapioca (in the box). When cooked, put in freezer bags and flatten to freeze. We use them all year long. Make pie or apple crisp. She easy and cheap to not waste fresh apples. Don’t slice apples too thin though. Bless you ❤
Hi you both look stunning ❣️. Its not long since i started watching you with me beinf in andout of hospital since my amputation i was going through you tube and seen your videos and loved them. With me suffering from bad depression they helped cheer me up as much as i could be lol theres loads id love to say but dont want to go on and bore you with all my problems but love watching you i will be looking out for more of your videos and catching up on all your other videos sent with lots of love and kind regards Dawn ❤😊
We tried the maize crisps at the community centre i help at. The pickled onion ones stank but at 75p filled up a few hungry people who didn't want biscuits!
2 questions: 1. Could you do a shopping video on what vitamins and minerals you take and what you recommend since you have a vegan lifestyle. 2. Are Jojo and Sienna still best friends? I miss seeing them together. Thank you!! Have a wonderful day. I learn so much from your videos when you shop for food. I have 99% plant based diet😊
I’m sure Bob & Katie can answer these better, but I’ve been vegan for 6+ years and I take vitamin B12 (essential for anyone who doesn’t have a meat-heavy diet, or is over age 50) - 2,000 mcg/week (sublingual - the kind that dissolves under the tongue), vitamin D3 - 2,000 IU/day (D3 can either come from lanolin - a kind of oil produced by sheep - or from lichen - a type of plant - so make sure it’s vegan if that’s important to you), and algae based omega 3’s - 250 g/day. Also, I’m almost positive that JoJo and Sienna are still friends.
As a reminder: Just go to the supermarkets at around 4 or later(depends on your store), you will get some pretty good reductions as you can buy a product in cheaper price and stop waste
I prep my own chips and freeze them. Peel, crinkle cut, wash, drain, into boiling water for three mins, drain, dry, spray with oil, season of your choice, into a hot oven, cook, but toss on the tray, for about 15 minutes. Take out, cool then bag up. They are so good! Ready to re cook when needed! Oven chips…👍👍👍👍
Amazing suits looking great on you guys and it still amazes me how you budget your shopping haul and get so much thank you for sharing take care and Just keep Rising 💚☝🏽
You gust looked very smart in the first clip, great clothes. Love how supermarkets are adding more to their essentials range. Can’t remember if you did this but maybe a challenge like Aldi vs supermarket everyday / essentials range? 💚 #freegang #livebutnotlive #justkeeprising
@FamilyFreedom I thought it was them, I was on the swarm ride waiting for it to set off and just spotted them at the front of the queue. It was a really good day, thenk you, the hour and a half wait for hyperia was totally worth it, and the vegan doughnut was a nice way to end the day.
Currently at Tesco they have the cauliflower hash browns on offer for £2 (clubcard price). Normal price is £2.95. I know you tried them out, wondered if you liked them xx
I'm currently watching this ill in bed. I've just had a 3 hour nap in the daytime which isn't like me but my body must need the rest so I need to listen. This video is great at first I thought you were reshareing the older version. With those type of tinned potatoes I recently made a potato, cauliflower and chick pea curry. Even my little girl liked it. ❤
Wow, you really managed to buy a lot for £30!! Although it’s a shame they didn’t have more fruit and veg in the essentials range. Fruit and veg are as essential as they come!
I'm going to be trying to do this just asda essentials thanks guys for inspiring me and you all luk gorgeous in your suits at the start of video luv watching your channel your all ace 🤘🤘🤘🤘xoxo
Had to look up mushy peas. Our Kroger has them in a 12 pack for 66 bucks. I did see english shelled peas for 3.39 for 6oz.or 170 grams. But unavailable in general.
I confess I was excited to see This Video 💯👌🙌👏🏻👏🏻 I personally rate many of the just essentials range… Oh no- you missed the pizza. Frozen or fresh cheese and tomato pizza is imo, better than the brands. Frozen chips are really good, again preferring them . Tinned spaghetti too- they used to,do spaghetti strands but stopped making it,just the hoops now. The crisps are good.they do a few biscuits I’m sure. Overall- excited to watch this. Taste test and feedback will be exciting
Another awesome food challenge from the fantastic Family Freedom and love 🥰 the budget food challenge videos so keep them coming. I disagree with Asda because carrots are essential. Love 💗 Family Freedom.
Price of carrots has gone up price because of bad weather we had last year all vegetables we getting now are from last year they been in storage since then it was on news this morning
Hi ya, I have to ask, do you actually use the cheap food you buy for yourselves for dinners etc, or do you donate them? I was just wondering if the own brand foods are nice or not.
I’m really glad you guys inquire about the production of the products you do brand deals with, including even asking about the quality of employee conditions. It’s hard seeing creators I love sharing not so moral companies. People really need to learn more about where their products are made and how. I make soap, and it’s so hard to ensure each ingredient is natural and I’m not using child labor or mica that required small children to risk their lives in small underground mines. But it’s VITAL. I will not make, use, or sell a product where a small child risked their life to simply make it pretty.. I have a lot of creators I love who still do brand deals with really really bad companies like BetterHelp or companies who claim to be cruelty free, but then they’re extremely cruel to humans in their working conditions, brands like SHEIN etc. Or for instance, the meat companies who lie and claim their animals are free range and grass fed. Any non vegans should always actually inquire what that means, if you’re trying to buy at least free range and grass fed. The MAJORITY of free range animals and grass fed animals.. are only free range and grass fed the month before their slaughter. They can be grass fed for ONE MONTH out of their life, and be labeled grass fed. They can be imprisoned in tiny conditions their whole life aside from one month..and yet be marketed as free range. Some cruelty free places are anything but.
Hi ALL ,I do chip's, rice and curry sauce . You do so well with different video's . Bob can Katie have a budget, so she can do a Halloween stuff shop . Thank you for sharing your day .Take care and all the best .😄😄😄👍👍👍
A lad at work good love him swears by the Asda essentials range and I agree as long as I’m not down wind from him. My god, when he lets one go and it’s often, it smells like an elephant house!
That would be very interesting. We actually did a UK vs US store comparison for a few different stores. You can see the videos here ruclips.net/video/DUs2kD5-cno/видео.html&pp=gAQBiAQB
Have you got a bean soup or like a bean curry recipie i love all beanz like butter beans bertolli ones chickpeas kidney beans as i say i love them all so delicous
Sorry if this is a silly question. Pardon my ignorance. But do people in the UK like to shop at the store daily? I was reading that people there do. Is this correct?
I go shopping every day because cheap to shop that way get bargains like stuff that has reduced sticker on it so put it in my freezer use it when weather starts to get to cold outside l don't have to go out shopping
Alot of just essential range asda taken them off because cost to much money and no that cheese they sold was really big block but stopped it made it smaller and they have just essential in freezers as well
Hi family freedom. Ok, so if you have an extra spot for two seniors we are coming to live there. Lol. I am so shocked at the lovely fruit/veg for under $2. I just bought potatoes for $7.48 yesterday here in Canada. Our beans are over $2 a can and most other things are crazy prices. It is no wonder that there are people in Canada/USA that are struggling. We have to budget $600-$800 for monthly groceries. What is the price of an average 2 bedroom suite worth in London? Just an average would be great to know? Love you two in your suits, very HOT!! Cool or whatever the phrase is now!

Disappointed you didn't wear your suits to go Just Essentials shopping that would have been hilarious. Also you were scanning your shopping as you went, you should take bags and pack as you shop then nobody will judge your shopping as they don't know what you bought.
Hey FreeGang 💚 You will see us do something AWESOME with this ASDA essentials food in our next video SO STAY TUNED 💚

Try to do some yellow sticker shopping haul in different supermarkets and compare which supermarket has the cheapest yellow sticker(biggest reduction)
Great idea Cassidy! 👌

Potatoes with beans on top sound lovely.

Love your videos. I also think I spotted Bob and Jojo as I was on a ride at thorpe park on Thursday, if so I hope they had a great time.
Hey Heidi! Good spot! Yes they were there for the day and had a great time thank you. We hope you did too 😊

Hope you are all ok. I have started my Christmas shopping xx
Wow Kim! It sounds like you're getting it done very early! 😊👍🎄
katie, and bob I have discovered that in grocery shopping we are paying for the packaging not the product itself.
I've done this challenge on my channel I did a £50 budge but got under that x and the food is actually nice
Currently at Tesco they have the cauliflower hash browns on offer for £2 (clubcard price). Normal price is £2.95. I know you tried them out, wondered if you liked them xx
We absolutely loved them!! Thank you so much for letting us know about the offer at Tesco 🤗👌

Vegan pre packaged gravy. 😢
Looking forward to seeing the taste test! I hope it's yummy. ❤️ Live but not live from Harrisburg PA.
Vegan since 2016 🍀

Hey, how are you guys? Whats the song in ur intro called?
We are good thanks Alice! How are you? The song is called Life is worth living by Christopher Young 💚
Boy I wish Australia offered those prices you guys get in the UK especially for $30 budget
I have bought a few items of this range and it’s ok with adding extra seasoning.
I got that curry sauce yesterday made a veg curry pie and it was delious
Ah good to know Jamie-Leigh! 😋
Mushroom and stuffing double crust pie with mash and gravy
Sounds delicious 😋
I recommend a recipe for you to try. Rice and pasta sauce together. It tastes amazing.
Ooh sounds good, thanks Barbara!
Would love to see what you make for 21 meals if this is for the week.
Brekkie I’m guessing oats. Dinners you’ve mentioned. Stumped for your lunches
Morrisons has some vegan products in the frozen section 5 for £5 with a Morrisons card certain chips are in it as well

It would be good to see your weeks meals with the food you bought
Hey Catherine, we have some of that coming up in our next video! 😊
For a second I thought you were about to do a supermarket shop in those new clothes.
❤❤ ur video made my day
We’re so glad to hear that 🤗💚
There are some stuff in Asda which are cheaper than ‘Just essentials’ products e.g. 2kg bag of Red Split Lentils for £2.85.
Ah that's interesting. Thanks for letting us know! 👍
A lad at work good love him swears by the Asda essentials range and I agree as long as I’m not down wind from him. My god, when he lets one go and it’s often, it smells like an elephant house!
Do not worry guys when my children were young we use to buy the other value stuff was when it was smart price products it was alright .
That milk is so cheap at .50p
Here in Australia that would be $1 equivalent but we wouldn’t get a litre for less than $1.89 (95p)
Another video idea would be this same idea but buying only the stockwells brand in tesco
Ooh that's a great idea Lindsay, thanks for suggesting it! 🙏
You’re such a beautiful couple.❤
Thank you so much Linda, that's very kind of you to say 😊
Hello, great video 😊 can I ask why only one pasta sauce for the three of you? Did you find garlic bread? It used to be vegan but do they still do it?
I would find it interesting to see what the US equivalent would buy (£23). ... Unless this has already been done?
That would be very interesting. We actually did a UK vs US store comparison for a few different stores. You can see the videos here ruclips.net/video/DUs2kD5-cno/видео.html&pp=gAQBiAQB

Sorry if this is a silly question. Pardon my ignorance. But do people in the UK like to shop at the store daily?

Personally, I just do a food shop once a week
Was that Ann Widdecombe in the background?
Ah, it could very well be! If it is she's good for shopping at Asda! 😂
The free from is always a lot more expensive
Alot of just essential range asda taken them off because cost to much money and no that cheese they sold was really big block but stopped it made it smaller and they have just essential in freezers as well
Are these essential range foods higher in salt and sugar do you know? X
Would love to know what was decent quality and what wasn't.

The raspberry rolls are really nice but when they were first introduced the were 28p and asda just keep hiking up the prices on things
Can you do some cooking with mushrooms pls
Sure 😊💚
What is with the Snazzy get up.?
I wouldn’t get the juices, the amount of sugar that’s in them is crazy
Thank you for the heads up 🤩
Do i spy a new phone case on Katie's phone lol 😂🤣?
You must remember the old one that was falling apart 😂🤣🤣
@@FamilyFreedom Sure do, it was light blue with lots of stickers on it 😅😅❤❤
You did pick up a 28p rice
Yes you bought all these items for £30 but what meals are you going to make, most of the stuff you bought are to go with no sit down meals.
Hey Graham, thanks for your question - you make a very good point! You'll see in our next video this Sunday what meals we can make with this! 👍
Why is Bob dressed like James Bond?
He's a secret agent! 😂
