I do wish they had gotten actors with different accents for Lagoona, Draculaura, and all the other non-American ghouls. Giving everyone an American accent just feels like the laziest solution imaginable.
But it's American nationalism behind this, that's the only reason they made them all American. @@bimbology_ the irony with frankie is many autistic people pointed out they along with jackson and abby are strongly autistic coded too so its not like verbal autistic ppl were lacking in rep lmao All it comes off to me is because ghoulia didnt fit the “just socially awkard autistic person” then mattel decided shes not good enough, its just depressing to see because the only current rep there is for nonverbal autistic people is music-and dont get me started on how terrible that movie was
I don't follow Monster High nor got into them, but I understand the appeal for the 1st wave figures. They had that edgy, untamed looked to them and have their own sense of fashion. The newest one comes off as elementary schoolers fashion for children while being conformed and safe.

I completely ignore G2 but G3 is everywhere and they look more like kids than teens..they should’ve just made new monsters or had these monsters be like the kids of g1
the accent representation was amazing in the original monster high, besides them being impressions done by people who did not have those accents. that rep could've SO easily been added and improved by just hiring people who have the real ones.
@@gemmio69 Look…Frankie is a girl two times out of three generations. Give people a break on the pronouns, they’re all fictional characters so there’s nothing to defend or correct on the behalf of others, because the Monster High characters are not real.
I agree about Clawdeen’s fur texture. They tried way too hard. They took the fashion completely out of it and I really only want some of the dolls for restyling purposes. They are going to release the Drama Reel dolls in stores on October 1st so at least we’re getting that.
i know im late but same, they fucked up everything, they literally turned Headless Headmistress Bloodgood from white to black, and they turned Lagoona BLUE to pink, so now she should be named to Lagoona Pink. They also ruined mythical characters, like Draculaura, she used the be the classic mythical vampire, which is 100% europan, but now they decided to make her be half european and half asian. Which doesnt make any sense, since mythical vampires arent meant to be asian, and theres so much other stuff too that this will be too long
I'm still broken up by Lagoona being pink lmao, also Deuce looks kinda good in this generation or is it just me? But why do they have to break Deuce and Cleo up 😭 Also that hint in the show sneak peek where Frankie said the Devil is Heath's dad is kinda cool since we basically know nothing about Heath's backstory.
Haven't been in the MH loop in a long time, got friends who are still into it. The G1 designs still look pretty nice, there's not a lot from this generation I'd say I like. Seems like they're trading the more Gothic inspirations for more...idk how to put it exactly. The outfits look bland.

Gouhlia looks like Frankie’s cousin with that bright ah skin tone. I wish it was a muted green instead. And i rlly hope they don’t take away all of the aspects that made her a zombie..
I'm just praying they leave Jackson and Holt out of this. I cannot imagine how horrible it'll be... I think the dolls are playing it too safe fashion wise. They're catered to not upset moms buying them, without knowing the lore, they're designed to be too preppy. The allure of MOnster High, was that they were dolls for ALL ages. I was 14 when I got my first MH doll (Ghoulia!) and while I never got to collect the amount of them I wanted (I really am kicking myself for not getting Jackson and Holt when I had the chance) it was refreshing that the doll lines were so varied, that you could genuinely pick your favorite iteration of any character at any time. Like, my favorite Frankie doll is the one I own, Skull Shores, black and white. I ADORE her. I honestly, cannot stand the way the dolls are looking now. They look like the minimum effort was made on them. I'm predicting we're gonna be hearing a lot about Frankie's busted prosthetic, because from an engineering standpoint, that prosthetic ankle looks like it's going to be really easy to snap just taking on and off the clothing. I also am weary of how people are acting in the fandom currently as well. A LOT of mean people have joined just to gatekeep ships and harass us older fans for sticking to our side of the fandom.
I always wonder if the toy companies sell their toys in such a manner that it's legal and not gauging on their company side, but allows them to sell at a higher price on the private side.
I have a soft spot for media that allows characters to have accents especially with Tecna from Winx although if every character was speaking in an American accent instead in some franchises that have accents like Xenoblade then it would feel different. There was one video that said that Tecna should have a monotone voice due to a story beat of coming to terms with emotion, but I feel like it's a trope of itself (monotone = emotionless).
The more I see of this, the more it feels nothing like Monster High. I'll give them this though, the animation and art direction(aside from the character design, animation really highlights the flaws in these designs for some reason) in the tv show looks nice.
I only want g1 everything . I can’t stand how the new monster high looks like monster middle school . I feel so old watching the new monster high like as if the content was not made for my age I’m 34 by the way . Which yeah I’m sure it’s not for my age group but that’s not what monster high is . The original monster high went for any age that’s why it was so successful and why hype up a brand coming back like monster high and not make it geared towards its original fans . What was the point of this ? Like just make a new show look at super monsters on Netflix that’s for babies and it’s it’s own thing . This monster high g3 is like for the super monster kids who just turned 7 or 8 years old . … ( ouch burn but so true lol)
I don’t follow this franchise and I definitely don’t know what’s there as representation or what’s just something people headcanon’d but from the looks of this, they’ve just sort of scrubbed away any character quirks or gimmicks so that they didn’t have to think too hard when writing episodes and I really can’t abide that. Same with the accents. It pisses me off to no end when they just have everyone sound like they’re from California in every single setting. Like how only two characters in fallout 4 actually sound like they’re from Boston at all despite there being a functioning vault in the place. Just lazinesses.
Hot take: the tidbit of the show we got actually looks kinda decent. It seems to have that silly yet sincere Monster High charm in the dialogue, the designs (while committing fashion sins; looking at you, "Clawdeen") seem to look better in motion, the animation is impressive (then again, this is Nickelodeon; they're surprisingly good with TV budget CGI save for Planet Sheen), and the voice acting is alright (still miss the accents tho). Might give it a chance. Another hot take: 2022 Manny is actually a nice break from most MH guys being (and I hate to use the term considering how good a boyfriend Clawd was to Draculaura) himbos. He's a smart, gentle minotaur guy who likes puzzles, something that reminds me of how G1 Monster High tended to toy with monster stereotypes. Feels a lot more MH to me than him just being some dumb jock bully, at least.
I agree with your opinions here. Also, Manny is my favourite character reboot design, he looks cute, a little bit different but you still know it's Manny. The only thing holding me back from this new gen is Clawdeen new design. The other I have come around to like them but Clawdeen is still a tragedy to me
Hot take: I like the direction they’re going with deuce. Pretty much his whole character in the OG was being Cleo‘s boyfriend. I like how much attention he’s getting especially how in the movie he’s basically one of the main characters as the promotional stuff presents. I’m not a big fan of his design though….. but yeah overall I like that they’re giving a dude character an actual point in the story and making him be a main character. I know deuce was technically a main character like his name was in the intro… but let’s be honest he was not in nearly enough to be even considered a main character in the OG

Holup, the totally could've made Holt have on that race car driver drip. Either way, I really like this and it certainly feels like a Nick show. They turned Draculaura into flipping Raiden from Mortal Kombat with the hat and Frankie's joke about news stations got me rolling. Sure hope this is consistent.
I mean if it was reversed it can work but it does give middle school vibes. As in if g3 slowly progressed to g1. But g1 pretty much felt like they hit home with the message they brought and made every person regardless of background feel welcomed…pretty much it felt like one big whole family
Ever since your last vids on MH, I decided to check out some of the animated material (as well as reading up on some other stuff) that was made for g1 MH and now I have fallen for it. Didn't think I'd enjoy a lot more than I expected to. (Faves are probably a tie between Clawdeen and Catrine). As for the new show, I will agree the designs are a mixed bag (also cleo's colors keep making me think of Robecca instead of Cleo), animation looks alright at least. Doubt I'll check it out, not exactly feeling it. For others who enjoy it more power to ya but it's not for me. Also regarding making content for the g1 series, would love to see them make the lost movie a finished film (even if they had to rewrite it a bit) mainly just cause I want to see Euna be real, she has a very nice design that's just too good to be left on the cutting room floor (I just love how they made a kumiho look so good in the MH verse). Also sorry to hear MH fans dealing with scalpers and price hiking for the original style dolls, as a TF fan I've been hearing stories about these things (Velocitron Cosmos being a recent example or how when Earthrise was new any of the seeker/coneheads that weren't Starscream were impossible to find, hell I have a friend who was busting his tailpipe trying to find a Titans Return Misfire for a price that wasn't in the triple digits. I wish you two well in that regard. Anyway, another great video as usual J, I wish you and your sis a very good day.
Glad to hear you enjoyed Monster High. Clawdeen and Catrine are awesome! Yeah, the dolls retail for $25 but it's hard to find them for less than $100 thanks to scalpers. It's such a pain but unfortunately it's a problem throughout collecting. Hope you have a good day too. :)
I think it’s so stupid how they had Cleo and deuce break up in the haunt couture diaries, like what’s the actual point? We’ve seen this many times, it’s always nefera. Like just keep them together they’re like a really good match like why Mattel??
Here's my personal ranking of G3's cartoon designs from best to worst; 1. Frankie, I could even see G1 with these designs. Nitpick: I wish they shaved a lightning design into the undercut or had stitches on the shaved area, just something to set it apart from Venus's. 2. Cleo, I really like it even if its a bit too blue. 3. Deuce, liked it better than I thought I would. Still feels too green. 4. Draculaura, I can see G1 wearing it, but I feel like its a little too "cutesy", even for her. 5. Toralei, I want to see more of her before I completely judge, but I'm ok with the general design. 6. Lagoona, not a fan of the rainbow color scheme. I think they should've kept the original's wavey hair instead of the straight, ponytail. I'm curious to see how the fading effect will look. That might sell the design better for me? 7. Clawdeen, I really don't like the design, especially the hair. I think it would look better if it was just purple highlights. 8. Ghoulia, really don't like the design. The one thing I kinda like is the brain helmet.
I think my biggest problem with the G3 designs is that they're just a little too on the nose. It's the motifs that does it: the lightning bolts on Frankie's jacket, the bats on Draculaura's skirt, the fangs on Lagoona's fanny pack, etc. It's like they're trying to shove down your throat what kind of monster they are, when their demographic isn't stupid. Kids could tell what monsters the G1 dolls were without prompting on the clothes.
Frankie's design has grown on me now that I've seen the animated version, but the same can't be said for the other characters who feel like their all one color.
I’m curious to see what they do with ghoulia. It said on her doll box that every ghoulia doll sold they would donate one dollar to mental health awareness. Which I think is cool. But I’m curious to see what they’re getting out with this. Especially when they made her nonverbal character and that was a big part of people had canning her as a Neurodivergent in the past. Though like I said I’m curious to see what they do with her!
I dislike everything about the new Gen 3 were are my girls accents, why does Draculaura like witch craft when back then in gen 1/2 she got her vampire powers, why is ghoulia able to speak English?? Lagoona looks too different and seems to not act like her past self, don't even get me started with what they did to my girl Frankie. (Frankie to me will always go by she/her as to me the reboot isn't canon cuz too many changes and i don't like em so) also why is Deuce green ?? The one thing i do like is that Draculaura is chubby
I'm still confused. Is Draculaura a vampire or witch? American or Asian? It's like they have no idea which direction to take her character! I'm mad they Americanized Dracula. Disrespectful to Americanize a well-known Transylvanian figure. (I'm Slavic of course) I'm sure there are plenty of Transylvanians who can voice Dracula and Draculaura if they wanted to be politically correct with this reboot. Also good on you J for pointing out the problem with the limited edition dolls. I've been realizing this before that scalpers are taking advantage of the limited editions and reselling them for ridiculous prices. Mattel still hasn't fixed that. They expect us old fans to be pacified with these limited editions? When it's practically impossible to get? Yeah Mattel is definitely driving away their target audience this way. This reboot feels insulting as well. Like "Haha, you can't have any MH dolls!"
Draculaura is a vampire but interested into witchcraft. She is a Taiwanese now as I remember. May be born in America. I don’t know. Plus she looks nothing like Taiwanese
Her actor in the movie is Filipina but her character is meant to be Taiwanese. It just feels like a disrespectful money grab at this point. "Look, we're diverse! But don't do your research or you'll see we're lying!"
Drac is Asian and American. She's Filipino in the movie and Taiwanese in the cartoon so its the asians are the same thing right there. No Romanian ancestry in her character. Heck they keep dwelling on her being Taiwanese and have said they're gonna go into her mom's lore and have her speak Chinese, yet not once is Romania mentioned in G3. And considering they overhauled Abbey to be American as well (but Indian instead of Filipino) there's blatant slavophobia going on here. But it's Hollywood what do you expect anyone who's bright knows Hollywood hates Eastern Europe with the exception of Greece for some reason. That's why Deuce gets to remain Greek, because he's not a Slav. And when people call out slavophobia they're labeled as racist and just not wanting POC
@@finland4ever55 It's will be very offensive if they didn't handle Taiwanese well. And I heard that Drac's voice actor is Filipino? They seems like finding Asian voice actor randomly.

I’m a big fan of this series. I’ve seen every movie and show, bought the dolls, and even read the books! Yeah did y’all know there was books? Anyway. I like to stay open minded about this new generation. Because let’s be honest there’s a difference between a reboot and a remake. This is a reboot which means they are changing things. These are not the same characters this is not the same school this is not the same world. That doesn’t mean you can’t compare them of course it’s totally fair to do so. I just find it difficult when people talk about it like this is a remake. A remake would be doing the exact same thing with slight changes possibly. But that’s not what this is.
Fair enough. Although, I firmly believe that they should have made the reboot cast entirely new characters rather than change the old ones so drastically while keeping the same names.
It's disappointing that they are taking away representation like homelessness, adoption, disabilities, and culture for cheaper replacement. Yes I am aware that Frankie has a prosthetic leg but what we seen in the short, they was able to take their body apart and then replace it with their inventions. So they could replace the leg whenever they want. It's not the same for people who has to live with it for the rest of their lives.
@@uni_meadows Information on the characters that the show gave us. @@uni_meadows And from the info they are changing him from a dare Devil to a singer. But like you said the show haven't came out yet and we have to wait and see.
Its not as bad as Gen 2 MH for me, but it will taking a lot of getting used to. I don't mind some of the designs as much, such as Cleo and Toreli, but I find characters like Lagoona and Clawdeen to be too unfashionable and unrecognizable. I also don't like how the music videos had such a strong focus on the characters' racial identities, because it felt more forced than the more subtle diversity of Gen 1 MH. It also annoys me that most of the characters don't even wear high heeled shoes anymore, because I loved the creativity and detail that went into their shoes. And I wish that Mattel would fix the distribution issues with the Gen 1 MH dolls (the Creeproduction and possibly Reel Drama dolls especially) because many people have been unable to find them in store or they never showed up to their Walmarts. And as someone who refuses to pay scalper prices, the issue has made it easier to collect lines like Shadow High/Rainbow High by MGA (some of the dolls in those lines are absolutely amazing despite the high price point), and if the MH 2022 reboot becomes too much of a turnoff for me, at least I can focus more on collecting SH and RH since it is actually possible to find them in stores for their normal retail prices. As an original MH fan though, I can't help but feel a bit guilty for starting to favor SH over MH over the above reason. I want to love MH again, but its difficult to do that when the distribution and scalper problems are so bad that many people cannot even get the hands on the dolls to truly appreciate them in person.
not much into monster high myself but i watched it a bit with my older and younger sisters before so i can see some of your points. hopefully itll be good on its on merits more so than a monster high reboot idk thats just me.
My issue with Gen 3 is that they took away the contradictions. Monster high was all about not judging a person by cultural stereotypes and looks. Ghoulia was smart when zombies are portrayed as dumb, Draculaura was a vegan when vampires are seens as people eaters, Lagoona was friendly when sea monsters are portrayed as violent, Jackson Jekyll looked like a nerd but actually liked to party, Claudeen was a fashonista when werewolves were seen as tomboys/sporty, ect. My point is most of the characters aren't supposed to be stereotypical. But they took that away and now a lot of the characters are slowly molding back into the original assumptions of monsters. This franchise was meant to make kids feel less alone and teach them not to judge based on outward appearances. The monsters used to be misunderstood but this show actually makes the humans look justified for casting them out. Also the fact they took away a lot of the slavic and just general cultural representation by removing the accents is annoying. Slavic people aren't very represented in the media. Plus they made Lagoona Latino when they already had a Mexican character that a lot of people would love to see more often. I'm american but I dislike how the characters have all been given american accents. Let other cultures shine man, I love their accents!
I'm really torn by some parts of this new version but otherwise really liking it for example I can think of actually them supporting a good figure of Frankie without them feeling like oh you got to have her out in every way without any changes it's kind of like how I feel when I see Jack Pacific put out Sonic in every wave you're taking up a valuable fourth slot because your character is the flagship character oh we'll just change that fourth slot with his super form rented this is the same problem I have with a lot of small waves and also why I actually don't like the Builder figures so take that as what you will. Also it Hasbro was a little bit better with its pulse system actually you know being oh you're having trouble picking up toys from our retailers no problem you can buy them from the actual company instead it's a multi variety problem that I cannot stand same thing with Mattel so yeah I get that they don't understand that the retail business has literally said screw you in some regards but if a comic book writer/artist is doing retail better then both of you combined maybe you should start asking how does McFarlane Toys do selling better sorry I'm still upset that the one Batmobile he does is the worst one of the bunch.
I don't like that they took away the accents and changed the character designs of many characters. Lagoona Blue is supposed to be blue for example, it's in the name!
It feels like companies once again want to fix things instead of bringing an old franchise into a new generation. I was never a fan of Monster High. Not that I hate it, it isn't my cup of tea, but most of the re-designed characters feel like modern humans and not like fictional monsters. Clawdeen was changed to a Latin-American girl because of her brown fur. Which sounds actually more racist. Ghoulia speaking normal English was probably done to not offend people that might have a speech impediment. And Frankie is now a non-binary character that wants to be addressed as they/them. And of course, she needed to have a half-shaved head. To be honest, these new versions feel even more like a stereotype now. Since every company wants to be as woke as possible, these politically correct new characters do not stand out any more. They have become the norm.
The fur detail on Clawdeen looks like a wood grain, like Cedar Wood. Lets be honest, if they put out a new movie for G1 it would still be awful, because it would be todays "standards".
...sigh it's just gen 2 but married with "generic nick jr/nickelodeon/Disney XD school show" Also the removal of accents makes me cry Bc they've Basically whitewashed everyone (and yes I know that the voice actors are poc but still if We didn't know that we'd probably all assume it's an all white cast) Plus I absolutely Loathe how childish they all act and sound now(it's Basically nick show characters) seriously tho they all Basically act the same but with some minor details. But anyway the colors are nice...that's it, that's all I like so far(sorry it's just...the show is a wee bit too reminiscent of gen 2) plus who in the world are these characters? Tiktok Party city kidzbop middle schoolers? (edit: Yeah Kidz! To telling you the truth the voice acting in the sneak peak doesn’t reflect the introduction music videos especially clawdeen she sounds so prepubescent.
I never followed the series as it was mainly my sister but someone pointed out that what Mattel does whenever they reboot a toy line is that they make 2 animated series with one for kids and the other one for adults who are the longtime fans with it being closer to the original material like how they did with He Man and they see which one is more successful so maybe in the future Monster High could get an adult series with the OG versions instead of what they’re trying to do with these versions cuz the audience for Monster High now is mainly adults who collect the dolls and rewatch the old web series and movies and kids today aren’t as interested in the series as opposed to something like Barbie or Hot Wheels
Draculaura doesn't look as cute I love the way she looks as a doll but in the reboot she's much shorter than everyone else, I hope they do another series where their in highschool and change their designs a bit, Because to be honest I'm not impressed at all, and my younger friend thinks that this reboot is better than the original and I'm shocked, But I totally agree with your opinion it's good to know someone notices all the errors in this show.
So far, I have mixed feelings about the current generation. I'm not getting my hopes up for the animated series, but the animation looks pretty good. I am quite excited for the movie, though. It looks spooky and fun, just like monster high. I think G3 is an improvement over G2. Instead of a soft reboot, they're trying something new. However, it's still a wasted opportunity to give us a new cast of characters. Then I would be more open to them.
I’m still rather neutral on the designs but they’re ok for what they are. The animation is nice, but they still could’ve put more effort in it I do hope some characters get more attention like Fenningan and others instead of then being background characters
i like some of the g3 dolls. all of draculaura dolls have been good. i like lagoona but i didnt like first wave lagoona so that's not saying much. and this cleo doll that got leaked on CA amazon is my fave g3 doll so far. I also like Toralei! clawdeen is the weakest design and it's weird because she's supposed to be the main character. I'm excited for the g3 dolls but i have no intrest in watching the movie and show. Which shouldn't say too much because they're aimed for kids and I'm 20 years old lol.
Honestly I couldn’t stand Draculura’s voice when I was younger. I always remember her voice from the pilot music video: “Our cafeteria has lots of dishes without bLoOd😱!” And when I heard the accent in the show it threw me off so bad😂. Her and Lagoona’s over the top accent drove me crazy. Everyone else was fine.
14:45 I hate to break it to ya but this is Manny now, I think your being way too harsh on the reboot. They arnt gonna rehash the same characters from g1, they're gonna be different and there's nothing you can do about it, instead of viewing the reboot as a worse version of the og mh view it as a new franchise that happens to share the same name as monster high, g1 and g3 are just not comparable (sorry if I sounded rude, just wanted to get a point across)
Being a reboot likely doomed it to be compared to the original from the start, for better or worse. On the topic of the characters being so different, I'm just wondering why they didn't just make all new characters. People wouldn't be upset about their favorites being changed so drastically if the cast was entirely new. Why keep the names but change everything else so much?
I not the biggest fan of gen 3 besides the music that’s decent but I’m glad Mattel is still catering the og fans while still appealing to the younger audiences

i know im late but same, they fucked up everything, they literally turned Headless Headmistress Bloodgood from white to black, and they turned Lagoona BLUE to pink, so now she should be named to Lagoona Pink. They also ruined mythical characters, like Draculaura, she used the be the classic mythical vampire, which is 100% europan, but now they decided to make her be half european and half asian. Which doesnt make any sense, since mythical vampires arent meant to be asian, and theres so much other stuff too that this will be too long
Hold up... GOULIA CAN SPEAK ENGLISH?? Also she looks like she came straight from the subway surfers franchise 😀

Here's my personal ranking of G3's cartoon designs from best to worst;
"It"
Frankie's design has grown on me now that I've seen the animated version, but the same can't be said for the other characters who feel like their all one color.

I loved the TV show, movie, and the dolls for G3 Monster High. I can handle your thoughts on the TV show, J.
The show has not even come out yet how in the world did you come to this conclusion.
Also the only real disability rep I can recall from G1 is Finnegan Wake and... he's returning. so.
@@uni_meadows Information on the characters that the show gave us. They said that Toralie was from old money and not a stray from the streets, they said that Draculaura is the daughter of Dracula not adopted one. @@uni_meadows And from the info they are changing him from a dare Devil to a singer. But like you said the show haven't came out yet and we have to wait and see.
Didn’t Vandaulia represent people with disabilities
I hate HATE their feet
It just follows the movie so I'm not really that impressed either but I did I do like how draculaura gets to do witchcraft that's interesting
The gen3 dolls are looking pretty good so far i might get draculaura because she was my favorite character
I don't like that they took away the accents and changed the character designs of many characters. Lagoona Blue is supposed to be blue for example, it's in the name!
She's blue because of the blue lagoon/blue sea. Not becasue of her name, one of her sisters is pink
I'm just hoping the animation series is better than the Live Action movie at this point.
The fur detail on Clawdeen looks like a wood grain, like Cedar Wood.
Lets be honest, if they put out a new movie for G1 it would still be awful, because it would be todays "standards".
Waiting on spirit Halloween the movie.
...sigh it's just gen 2 but married with "generic nick jr/nickelodeon/Disney XD school show" Also the removal of accents makes me cry Bc they've Basically whitewashed everyone (and yes I know that the voice actors are poc but still if We didn't know that we'd probably all assume it's an all white cast) Plus I absolutely Loathe how childish they all act and sound now(it's Basically nick show characters) seriously tho they all Basically act the same but with some minor details. But anyway the colors are nice...that's it, that's all I like so far(sorry it's just...the show is a wee bit too reminiscent of gen 2) plus who in the world are these characters? Hi it's nice to watch your videos keep up the good work.
Soon the list of donaters will become the longest part of the video. But you deserve it, girls.
Oh my god they did my girl Ghoulia so dirty 😢 she looks awful
She's talks now freaking great

Today I learned I would buy a Monster High Doll at a reasonable price because holy shit that Gremlins 2 Female Gremlin is cool.
My biggest pet peeve is the way they stripped many characters of their culture. Abby is slavic but now she's a basic white claire's girl?

Finding an acter with an australian accent can’t be that hard- (for lagoona)

Thanks for your perspective.
The animation is nice, but they still could’ve put more effort in it
I do hope some characters get more attention like Fenningan and others instead of then being background characters
@mjtanner if Mattel going to listen to monster high fans. Why not listen to AEG fans as well. They already ruined a good show.
i like some of the g3 dolls. all of draculaura dolls have been good. i like lagoona but i didnt like first wave lagoona so that's not saying much. and this cleo doll that got leaked on CA amazon is my fave g3 doll so far. I also like Toralei! clawdeen is the weakest design and it's weird because she's supposed to be the main character. I'm excited for the g3 dolls but i have no intrest in watching the movie and show. Which shouldn't say too much because they're aimed for kids and I'm 20 years old lol.
pass and mattel being crap with dolls go figure
WE NEED THIS TAKEN DOWN!
Honestly the new Monster High isn't TOO bad, besides them making Clawdeen straight/bi, the designs and the accents issue it's not that bad
Clawdeen has always been straight, what on earth are you talking about?
@@riotkitty crazy people made clawdeen lesbian
@@riotkittyshe was gay. Frankie on the other hand was extremely straight and they turned her into a mentally deranged individual.
The show is awesome
Yeah, it has way more Rep then G1 had, the haters could either take it or leave it.
I like the stop-motion-look. 😊
I quite enjoy mosterhigh Let's hope this be good 👍🏾
I not the biggest fan of gen 3 besides the music that’s decent but I’m glad Mattel is still catering the og fans while still appealing to the younger audiences
👍
oh well more for me lmao
I don't see what the big deal is monster high maybe a popular toy brand what comes to the series I don't think it was that successful who knows if this reboot does well it may actually help the brand
Yeah just like the last reboot...
Oh wait
of course it'd feel juvenile, you're older . . .
Fnaf security breach was made for kids and kids litrealy hated it lmao it did what mh g3 is doing and made everything more colorful and cute and kids said they liked its older more darker enteries better
Kids arent stupid-this was made for preteens and teens like g1 was
@@Man-wolf- bat enjoyer is someone you shouldn't bother arguing with. When I called out the americanization of draculaura this person was basically defending it and saying she can be both romania and Taiwanese when there's blatant proof she's American now. The dwelling on her asian side while cutting her accent and refusing to mention romania at all tells me she has zero romanian ancestry anymore
@@finland4ever55 man-like i agree draclaura can be both, but lik-theres a difference between making her both and blatently eruasing her bein romanian😭
They didnt even bother to cast an Asian romanian person to VA her-let alone cast a romanian person to voice dracula
Even tho HIS LITREALY DRACULA his accent is a big factor in his character since dudes from romania
and you know a slavophobic person when they have a pic of American dracuLIAR
Well it’s meant for 4-10 year olds. Why would Mattel prioritize 18-30 year olds??
Because there’s no age limit to enjoy things
Well my sister is literally 10 years old (we’re 10 years apart so I’m 20 lol) and hates the reboot. She compared it to rainbow high and said it’s just not as pretty. I don’t think people realize how much children care about design/aesthetics.
