@@Valentijnzz everything was very high cost when he talks about prices. Window shades are daylight robbery compared to prices where I live. Bjorn chose very good quality materials that will last. He will also find a way to get through this crisis.

On the garage, there is primer, which is a special preparation used to prepare the surface before painting. It acts as a base and helps improve the adhesion of the paint. On the house, however, there is actually paint - this outer layer provides both color and protection. Now, the garage needs a coat of paint, as it currently only has primer and not a finished paint layer.

Nice house. A question, could you do a video on the house heating system, the home automation, etc? That would be pretty cool, assuming there is cool stuff there ;-)
This house will be even more beautiful with some outside Christmas decorations, Dream house 🎉 🏠 God bless you Bjørn 🐻 and your family! Congratulations! What a bright future 🌞
This is so well deserved, Bjørn. I also took delivery of a red Model S P85, just 1 month after you received the MF, back in 2013, and I've been following you ever since. Watched "almost" every video. Super Gratulerer, and enjoy 😊
I can't tell you how happy I am for you to achieve your dreams. I also loved seeing the inside of a new Norwegian house so I can compare to similar houses in the US. I also appreciated you showing us the inside of your house without all your stuff, as I did not feel like I was "snooping". All the best.
Its been a great privilege to watch your new house grow, thank you for taking us with you on this journey. Congratulations to you and your family, i look forward to watching your content develop from that amazing garage!
Too freakin awesome Bjorn. TOO FREAKIN AWESOME MAN!! Congrats on the new house. Now all there is left to do is to put your ( your wife) personal touches on the house and that will take time but again, I'm happy for you and your family.
Small warning about the bathroom mirror, unpack it and remove the protective film before installing it. We have the same brand and had to replace it three times because the glass was scratched/damaged behind the protective film. The fasteners on the back are also not standard and can vary. We never got a damage-free mirror, but gave up and had to settle for one that fit in the already drilled holes in the wall.
Congrats on getting in finally. Lots of hard work paid off nicely. Please be super careful with the baby and pool until the cover is on and secure though.
Drive safe Bjorn when doing those runs with the trailer. Tiredness creeps up on you. Been watching your videos for a long time, one of the reasons I have a 2014 Leaf 24KWh still and a 2015 Model S 70D (exact same model and color as you reviewed). Keep safe, congrats on the amazing new place and thanks for the videos.
Bjoern, when you get excited, you start waving the camera back and forth so that the image starts to look like an earthquake scene ;-) Congratulations on your move, your big moment has finally arrived!
Congratulations on getting your keys and at least being able to move some of your “stuff” into the new house. Welcome to your new home. Here in the part of Scotland I live in we cannot move into a newly built house until the builder issues a completion certificate and the local council issues a habitation certificate and that is often the day that the keys get handed over too. In 1986 when my house that was built to my own design wasn’t issued with a habitation certificate because the inspector couldn’t find the outside washing drying line……….. he hadn’t looked in the garage where the rotary line was stored along with the ground mounting for it and it was because the steel pipe mounting hadn’t been put into the ground that he refused to sign the certificate………… he was what we call a jobsworth!

Hi Bjorn, love the house and looks fantastic. Congrats to you and the family. Just out interest the area you call a Porch is actually called just a deck/pool deck in English or in Swedish Altan. Not sure if it’s the same in Norwegian? A Porch is a covered part of the deck area and usually it is on the front of a house. But obviously in the Nordics it is common on the back as well. Sorry don’t mean to correct as not the end of the world. But I know you like to be correct in things 👍👍. Again lovely house and good luck with the move.
@@bjornnylandSorry Björn wasn’t being condescending or anything. Just thought you’d like to know? Love the house and great to see you still calling out The Sun newspaper on the shit they print. 👍👍
Congrats again!! Bloody hell, that’s a lot of money!! But really lovely and massive!! So deserved!! Well done!! Never seen that vacuum cleaner points on the walls… clever!! I guess you’ll have to have special vacuum cleaner to hook to those ports… I’d worry about things getting stuck in the pipes. And why didn’t you go in the garage for tethered chargers? So easier to just plug the cars? And not having to worry about getting cable out, if cars come with type 2 or not, etc… You’ll def see massive difference with previous very slow charge at old house!
Congratulations Bjørn! I like that you thought of Marcus and Pavel when talking about the pool, you've got some great friends and I love the videos you've made together.

@@topgunmGermany takes its own way every time... I only wanted to mention this. Our house was build in 1995 and has appr. 100kWh/m2a with an oil heating system.
Yeah it’s quite the difference. In Germany you’re not even allowed to build a new house that uses more than 60 kWh/m2 (and this will get reduced even further starting 2024). But on the other hand the average temperature in winter is 2°C here…
@@stephanbrenner3317 it's a lot warmer in Germany that's why it's lower. Obviously every country needs different kWh/m2 rating. If you had a house on the north pole an A rating would probably be 400 kWh/m2. Heating takes a ton of electricity. I use like 400 kWh a month in the summer, but in the winter I use 2200 kWh. The colder the yearly average is (Norway vs Germany) the more kWh/m2 the same exact house will use in electricity.
@@topgunm this may be the reason. My town in Germany is appr 2.5C warmer than Oslo. Not much. This means 15percent more energy for heating. The difference is smaller as I expected. The actual problem is that we pay 40cent per kWh at the moment.
