Yup! It's starting to get annoying seeing every single youtuber make multiple videos when they can just say: "Learn Troll + Cyclops, Kill em and mine gold". It's not even the best method anymore, now that solo HR wyvern exists.
In my opinion this is also a very good strat for duos.
You forgot to mention that this build might not seem better than farming cobalt, copper, etc. as solo. But the strength of this strat is that you can get very good drops from the chests, and the boss kills.

Wolf's in ice cave, 3 pelt =1k+ , no skill needed, 2-4 lionhead chests on the way, fast sail out.
You have a 60% chance to get 1 per game which is pretty low so mining gold is wayyy better

More, there 16 of them with 6.66% probability so its around 67-70% for 1 pelt.
But on other hand this % is for dire wolf. In most runs i bring 2 pelts, last one got 3.
So probability seems higher or im just lucky.
This method is more reliable AND it has the potential for troll pelts and epic jewelry. It’s definitely harder but it’s only 2nd to farming hr wyvern.
Also the odds you get 3 pelts is relatively low youd be lucky to average 1.5-2 pelts per run.

Easy, all you have to do is get a decent spawn, not run into any players while trying to get there, successfully kill the first boss without being ganked, travel to the next boss without running into any players, successfully kill the second boss without getting ganked AGAIN, then farm the gold without getting ganked, and run to extraction without seeing any players. Easy.
I just have a character slot that I just though the goblin quest line and spam sell the 3 bags you get from quest completed.15k per character and you can do haft of the quest from gathering the loot needed
The wings are way to rng for that to be worthwhile.

hey man ive been having a hard time recognizing the wobbly leg attack (6:26) any tips on what to look for to recognize it before its too late?

8:25 I dont think you'll have less contestants in HR actually more or at least from my experience its way more people to fight down in the boss rooms
@@vissandre3845 I don’t queue HR GC willingly tbh so I didn’t know. I just know that crypts and ice caverns are pretty much always empty or just noobs
You can make so much more and save a lot of time going top right of GC and mining the Copper,Iron and Cobalt ore imo.
true it's like minimum 700g per run but you can re-queue way faster
idk about more, both bosses have a chance of dropping troll's blood (around 400) and troll can drop troll pelt (4k gold).
Really? Cobalt barely sells for anything tho
@@yubaraa Its a preference thing, to me its faster, and more often then not its Iron and Copper, rarely cobalt.
Copper sells for sooo much
The rock fall is a game design fault. No mech should be a or hit or miss.
yeah i suck, and the 1 shot kill on troll is so discouraging. I still go and try here and there, and i die ofc but Maybe ill get it at some point.

@@SirSmoken I have, I'm just ignorant about their moves right now. Its like playing a souls game learning, very painful. I'm learning maps, have started diving into 2nd floors, learning the game, ill get to the bosses at some point but they are incredibly discouraging for new players haha
I hate that at 1:30 you completely disregarded this phase change as something worth taking mention of. Really sets the tone that you just recorded one kill and threw some voice over on it.
How do you not get blinded by the cyclops? Every time i try the cyclops i die because i cant see anything from the dust he throws

I disagree... HR loot is like 2k a game... u just gotta go to ice cavern and remember all the lions head and golden chest locations
Honest question, im new btw: why dont u use poisoned weapon and jokester in the other money making builds? U used hide and creep, i got more consistency using poisoned weapon and jokester
Edit: i think you answered that the video (its bc you were farming, but werent you farming in crypts?) its something related to gear? Or pvp/pve?
@@JPPS_ I like both builds tbh but I’d say hide/stealth/ambush is better for PvPvE while the jokester poison is better for farming bosses and such. They are both good builds but hide ambush allows you to be a bit more direct and outplay players especially in high gear

Is this better than killing the wyvern ?

@@maxhay9911 with back attack you get so much damage with the booty stabs
Copper mining is only half as profitable but 3x easier. No bosses, but it's RNG. Still I sold a few stacks for 250. It takes longer but I recommend it to beginners just buy a pickaxe from the woodsman for 20gp, and it's the only thing you risk losing. These routes between the bosses for the gold farming are cash though, nice.
Bosses is only better if you are lucky with the drops. Mining is way less rng dependant.

Cool but I main wizard at lvl 50 and keep losing all my kits to pvp and have yet to kill a wraith in combat instead of cheesing
Find stairs or a chest, get the high ground Anakin and jump crouch his everything
Is there a reason you don’t use 2 daggers like rondel and stileto for the 10% armor pen?
Also it was a double axe not a battle axe idk if it would sell for more

Free to play gold method is either breaking crates or opening chests for sellables and swapping out shitty greys for higher tier ones. That's just for raw gold coins though. If you're comfortable with bosses you could perhaps get upgrades/ hit pile in normals but that's slower than opening chests
Goodluck getting there w/o any PvP interractions. My experience was, it is waste of time. 1/10 i can do succesfull runs. When u got forced PvP you dont have time for it.
I mine Copper and Iron and sell them. They gave less but it is solid. (1k every round)

ye or you just rush top right gobelin cave get 2-4 stack of copper, full lion chest and you get 2-3k per run with no risk and nobody contesting you

@@SirSmoken I agree but the game is made to be boring and repetitive anyway, still you have more chance to pvp with my method than the troll cave by looking for players, getting killed by a rogue at the entrance and connot do anything about it is not really fun

Why didn’t you turn the ore into ingots
because u don t know YET if u want to use them for PLATE crafting or Cloth ... or leather ... or weapons...sometimes u need powder :)
@@hansenbee123he specifically used it to just sell to show how much gold he made but the ratio is better if you sell ingots I’m p sure

yeah you can always just store it in the stash
And you can use it to complete the quest

This seems like a complete waste of time. So tedious to do both bosses and then the mining. Much rather have fun PvP'in players. Selling loot gives more money anyway.
