The hotter the better. Then for the pros get them through a fine drum sieve. What ever weight you have at the end introduce 10% butter and 5% cream. You could of had the butter and cream reducing in a pan during all the hard work. That is a standard mash base. You can cool and reheat with some milk in a pan whiping it with a spatular.

In fact, the closest I've seen to them nowadays is when Barry made those opulent corn-dogs a while back. But they'd go well with any kind of fried meat or egg, since they are basically chips. Hell, maybe put them between two slices of buttered white bread for a cheeky chip butty.

@@mrbarrylewis After struggling with a kitchen from the 1980's since we moved in six years ago, we finally had a new one installed last week so I suppose I have no excuse not to try now 😅
Though I'll definitely be sticking with the easy to get hold of potatoes!

Idea for the new kitchenset. How about a picture of the food triangle, with a caption above that says something like "Today i feel like eating..." and an arrow that you can point around in the triangle.. :D

For a dish to try making, give Korean Army base stew a go. Has ingredients you wouldnt think to have in a stew and its pretty easy to make and to make it your own by including other items in it

Raw potato or potato peelings contains an enzyme inhibitor called protease, which prevents other enzymes from breaking down food and providing birds with nutrients.

Kitchen addition Idea: Get a thermometer and make it go outside of the oven, so it can tell you the inside temperature of the thing you're cooking so you don't burn it

YES! Golden potatoes are way better than regular white or russet potatoes . Golden's are better eating can do everything with them from fries , stir fry everything my favorite way is taking a vegetable chopper and chopping them into small cubes. Then frying them in a pan and some over easy eggs over them delicious.

keep a few of them that have already started sprouting and grow your own edited: if you get some more, use them as seed potatoes, and you could grow your own
