Now boys & girls, now I don't know if the Kawasaki Mule is different, or the c-clips are better sprung, but I worked 2 hours on a clip that I broke loose like this guy said, and popped the ones I didn't break loose right out. Mine had been in since 2006, and nothing moved easy! I used some heat, and a air chisel to pop needle bearing caps all over the shop with the air chisel. I guess some are tougher than others, so be ready to use tools you never thought you'd use changing u-joints. Best of luck!

Why would you wait until the end to install the zerk fitting? It looks fiddly I think I would install it first myself.

No. I don't think so. it would be very difficult.
