Its honestly a lose-lose situation. Either you unleash a demon from hell with eyes bloodshot from caffeine withdrawal, or you get a stone cold ambush and endurance hunter, all wrapped in one package, solely focused on ruining your day. Yeah, best way to play that game, is not playing it at all.
Interesting every coffee drinker I know has the same opinion, must be something to it. Myself, perhaps not so serious, but I did start in the military on a day when it was the ONLY thing available to me and I was hungry, so, not untrue about the benefits of having it.
What is the spirit of the bayonet? STEEL, STEEL! COLD, HARD STEEL! What makes the green grass grow? BLOOD, BLOOD! BRIGHT RED BLOOD! The bayonet course was fun when I went through it
During the original Twilight Zone series there was an episode where powerful aliens came to Earth and threatened to destroy humanity unless we could change. The countries convened at the UN and after centuries of war and conflict humanity resolved to achieve planetary peace. That wasn’t what the aliens wanted from them. The episode was called “A Small Talent For War.” The aliens were the progenitors of humanity. Humans were bred by the aliens to be war-like and become the future soldiers for these aliens. Desiring to be peaceful was a failure. At the end of the episode, the aliens decided to wipe out the current crop of humans and start over.
Sounds like a short story in a book I own, A ww2 German officer woke up in an alien prison with a Roman Centurion and Zulu warrior and was told that they were a weapon and about to be tested by fighting a competing alien-lifeform weapon and they defeat their opponents but as one the humans refuse to kill them citing honor and such, it ends with the alien writing a report suggesting the humans still refused to follow orders
In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him. And then, in that very moment when I love them.... I destroy them. Enders Game
No, it began before that and we had to survive predators bigger and better "armed" than us. Natural armor and weapons (claws, big teeth) are a disadvantage.
A new subscriber here, and also a U.S. Army combat vet with the 759th EOD CO "Detonators" six tours Iraq/Afghanistan. This story was really good IMO, and I would greatly love to see this as a series.
Oh hell yeah, I love 'Humanity F--- Yeah!' stories. Especially the ones that talk about the highly controlled substance adrenaline that one species seems to produce naturally.
There needs to be a part 2 where they witness the efficiency in the brutality of human kinetic weapons. Like to see thier reaction the power of the M2 Browning, the roar of the M134 Minigun. And let us not forget the horror of the flame thrower.
Humanity has been fighting for survival ever since the fall from grace. Fighting is definitely something we have perfected. As our parents taught us...Don't start it. But you darn well better finish it! I have passed this tidbit down to my children and grandchildren. We never started anything, but we darn sure finished it!!!
Lol my grandpa straight up taught me how to be a ninja. I mean not literally but he was like "don't fight fair, slip this into his milk during lunch, and go directly for the balls after school." Stuff like that. (It turned out to be laxative, and he didn't show up for the fight because he was too busy shitting his brains out. He got branded a coward and I never threw a punch.)
Well, that's the disadvantage of using AI to narrate for you. For the homeworld? Instead of FOR THE HOMEWORLD!!! The AI has no idea how much omph to give to each sentence.
Yeah we saw death in eyes and did between the eye shots on armored foes that also need a shot to a weak point in the neck plate. And later a face plate was noted. So wait - are their faces open to combat or not ?
Do not ever start a fight but always finish it. Captain John Sheridan's fathers advice to his son, demons run when a good man goes to war. Good men do not need rules you do not want to find out why i have so many. :)
an interesting story, would love to read a book of this with more history behind the war and humans joining it as well as other details that are left to questions.
Nice I have never been to the middle states mostly stay in the east coast but thank you for watching I post daily subscribe so you will always have something to watch or listen to.
Rite now only stand alone I tried to make a series but they didn't get too many views I'm thinking of trying again I've seen a few people mention it. But subscribe I post daily maybe I will start another series and see how it does.
Yeah! Quantum jump lets uncover past experience (and race traumas) to create present solution - like skills loading up in matrix virtual library and it was vast... Half John Wayne style ;) so then a bit of Jackie Chan in the situation is needed to chill down hot acting surroundings. Hopi tribe was (as I have read somewhere) called friends of ant-people. So the whole cosmic soup is warming up...
The AI voice isn't to bad in this one but I can read easily 2X as fast as it speaks. Please put subtitles so I can speed it up without it sounding like a chipmunks reunion.
Wow... So many narrations of low-quality sci fi stories revolving around humans being the galactic ubermensch. It's almost like these channels are posting spit with titles they know will grab quick views... But people will quickly tire of this, these channels will fade, and their owners will scramble to find and capitalize on the next quick-buck trend. All that work, for what? You channel owners are stuck in an endless cycle, doomed to fail, because you're too lazy to generate quality content.
yea if you look 95% of them were made after mine with some of them actually stealing my stories I get it I have worked hard on my channel for everyone to do the something.
@scottbrowder8304 No I do not steal anything all of my stories are original if you see or hear my stories not on here they are stolen because they were put up after mine.
Now you see, the enemy appeared to have attacked before the bloke had his coffee. Massive tactical failure on their part.
Don't mess with a human before he has had his morning coffee.
I asked my wife a question the other day before she had her coffee. Massive tactical failure on my part. Will not do again.
I am the same way. Coffee is a vital load and if it is not available at stand-to, shit will hit the fan for anyone headed our way.
Interesting every coffee drinker I know has the same opinion, must be something to it. Myself, perhaps not so serious, but I did start in the military on a day when it was the ONLY thing available to me and I was hungry, so, not untrue about the benefits of having it.
I remember a quote from another science fiction story that ran along similar lines.
"Humans that did not invent war, but we perfected it."
and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor."
Man Kzin wars
@@misterRDF More like "But the Kzinti learned the hard way that the reason humanity had given up war was that they were so very, very good at it."
@@rnash999 I loved that line.
@@misterRDF The Kzin learned why humans no longer studied war, they had mastered it.
Alien officer: Do these humans even know how to fight?
Marines: BLOOD MAKES THE GRASS GROW!!!
What is the spirit of the bayonet?
STEEL, STEEL! COLD, HARD STEEL!
What makes the green grass grow?
BLOOD, BLOOD! BRIGHT RED BLOOD!
The bayonet course was fun when I went through it
@@tachyon8317 I am just remembering that scene with the late legend R. Lee Army from Full Metal Jacket. 😀
The iron in the blood makes the grass turn dark green too
Woe the alien that walks on Sergeant Major's grass.
@@stevengreen9536may he rest in peace the absolute fucking legend 🙏

I never saw that I will have to check it out it sounds good.
Incorrect.
It was the 1980's Twilight Zone series. It wasn't the original.
@@callsigngrimdoll i came to say the same. I remember it in colour.
That seems like a shit idea on their part.

Being able to put yourself in others's shoes is a tactical advantage

Oh, man! U.S. Special Forces, trained in alien combat, loosed upon the Universe?😂😂😂😂🍻🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌎🌎🌎
Ever since the first human packs joined into tribes, we have been warring. It is much human nature as breathing.
No, it began before that and we had to survive predators bigger and better "armed" than us. Natural armor and weapons (claws, big teeth) are a disadvantage.
You are talking gibberish. My comment was about humans warring/fighting with each other. Not about some silly off-topic nonsense.@@donscheid97

"Say human how long has this m2 been in service with your people?" 😂
Or the pump shotgun. The "Old War Crime Stick"
Or the AI assisted artillery 105mm guns..
Or even what a 5.56 rifle can do at 500mts..
"Human, what does "A-10 go BRRRT!" mean?"

That is why there are always centuries long conflicts, they never ended
The story concludes before revealing its final twist, that Davis's true name is ... REACHER!
Well, that's the disadvantage of using AI to narrate for you.

Seriously, it almost sounded like a question, and not a rally cry.
I did laugh at that. "Uh, for the Homeworld?" Otherwise a pretty poorly written story. If the protagonist were a woman she'd be called Mary Sue.
@@KeltibarianMary Sue is pretty par for course for HFY, though this story was pretty subpar even with that taken into account.
To be fair, a number of the human-read story channels have an equally poor sense of narrative.
Humans have always been good at warfare
Because it arose from our desire to survive regardless of the odds against us.

Not bad but by sound of it their b no part 2. Still good tho
Hi. Hand made color subtitles (like most of youtube audiobook channels) would be nice for us non-native English speakers. Thanks.
you folks seem to only have PINK humans
What's your point?
It's always the authors purview on which colour of humans they write about. If you want something different, write your own.
Always 1 race baiter. Cry somewhere else.
That is due to the fact the only true human beings are pink. The rest are 2nd rate knockoffs😂😅
There's only one color...many shades, but one color. Angry, fighting, and successful is a color!
The story had potential but instead of being well told it relied on appealing to the human trait of vanity.
The AI voice isn't to bad in this one but I can read easily 2X as fast as it speaks. Please put subtitles so I can speed it up without it sounding like a chipmunks reunion.
So these guys don’t get RUclips … weak human?
Why are we helping the insectoids?

wow, talk about digitizing speech...
😃
This sounds like an AI reading, a AI written script, of just a generic re-hash of the humans are uber combatants trope.
