I don't know the circumstances but, I know what it feels like to kiss the ground on your motorcycle. Sad news sorry to hear about your accident. When I came off my bike, I broke my collar bone and fractured my shoulder. If I hadn't had proctection on, it would have caused more road rash. As I recovered I vowed and declared that I would never ride again. They gave me the option for the bike to be written off or repaired such was the damage. I elected to have it repaired. When I saw the wonderful job that they did on the bike, I said Wow or something to that effect and hopped on the bike and started riding again. That was 30 years ago. Once again sorry to hear about your bike. All the best for the future.
Wow.. thats a great comeback.. our circumstances briefly,, we got t boned.. 100 % her fault.. shes been charged by police. We didn't brake anything but really beat up and bruised. 6 hrs in the trauma section. Bike was priced at 74.000 to rebuild, obviously insurance company ain't doing that.. the whole front end is smashed. After 124.000klms on her she will be missed..
@@digbysdownunder 74K AUD for a repair is rediculous. I am an ex pat living in Arizona. A new 2023 model Roadmaster is 32K USD. It would almost be cheaper to fly over here buy a new bike and ship it back home
Absolutely agreed.. to get a 2018 Elite parts.. get the custom paint job, get it here and and labour is what they added up.. but just not feasible.. 50.000 new here... , might be a good excuse to go over there and ride again and send it back here..
Still in my thoughts, Dave. Will be interesting to see how it works out and just know there are a lot of people on here cheering for you and hoping for the best.
Good on ya. I'll be following along on how this pans out. All the best.
Hey bud. Hope you are doing ok. You do you mate. Video proof is a good thing. Be a bloody good coffee table.
