I’m glad you are ok. Keep an eye out for the rest of the Summer. Sometimes grass and tree roots smoulder underground and resurface in unburnt areas. So quickly we go from wet and green to dry and fire fuel. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry to hear what's happened for you today Dave. One of these unfortunate things do happen now and then. Hopefully all gets sorted out soon. Cheers Dave look after yourself stay safe out there and we'll catch up with you on the next one.
Wow mate, this would have been a harrowing experience and I'm glad you're in the clear, going by your comment 4 hours ago. Where would be we without firefighters, awesome people. Did you rub a lamp or something and wish to meet "Elvis"..? With all that dry grass behind you and this too-close-for-comfort afternoon, you'd do well to be prepared for defence etc. Glad you're both okay and that the place is safe. Be well mate.
DFES does a mighty job. Good to know you are ok mate.
Fire goes fast.
Thanks mate, appreciate it.

Fire is super scary especially in high temps and high winds. Fingers crossed for a safe summer and not a repeat of 2019
