      @@strangemachines_I actually like both Question and Holy Mountains a lot more than Toxicity and Aerials. Growing up the more popular songs got very over played for me, not that they're bad songs cause they're all amazing, it's just that they have been over played for me my entire life and I actually enjoy a lot of more deeper cuts from the band more than what is usually played

    Their Armenian heritage and influence make them unique in their musical genre. Add to that the fact that they are incredible musicians and Serj Tankian has an amazing, powerful vocal talent. If you like the darker side of SOAD listen to Mind from their self titled album. It gives you the chills.

    • @brooksysdead
      @brooksysdead Год назад +2

      Fact.. my Nana was an Armenian genocide survivor , she met my jidu in Syria and they got married, moved to beirut and had 7 boys. The same civil war that got Serj to America is why my family ended up here. People that go through shit like that are just different . They seen and been through some shit most people couldn't stomach

    It's crazy how this song works. Throw in off beat time signatures, with unexpected vocal sonics, tasty drums and guitar riffs, put it all in a blender and serve up an epic metal smoothie!!

    You will not be disappointed by anything you listen to from this band. Every element meshes perfectly. I believe Serj is one of the great rock vocalists of all time, you can tell he's classically trained and he's so passionate and powerful and animated. Not to take away from Daron, who is an excellent vocalist in his own right, and a beast on the guitar, as well as John on killer drums and Shavo on banging bass. (You look up their full names, I don't have time to type them lol.). Keep riding that SOAD train, Polo, you won't regret it.
