HOW TO COOK SPAGHETTI SQUASH 👩🏻🍳 my favorite way to get perfect spaghetti squash every time. Ingredients: 2 small spaghetti squash (~2 lbs each) - adjust bake time if using larger squash. 2 tsp olive oil (9 g) pinch salt and pepper Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a baking sheet with parchment, if desired. 2. Using a large sharp knife, cut the squash in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds with either a spoon or ice cream scoop. 3. Drizzle each half with the olive oil and spread around with your hands. Season with a small pinch of salt and pepper, then place cut side down on the baking sheet. Poke the squash all over with a fork, then bake for 30 minutes (40-45 minutes for larger squash). 4. Let cool slightly, then use a couple forks to shred into strands. Season with more salt and pepper if desired and enjoy alone or with your favorite pasta sauce! Notes: • Microwave squash: To help with cutting, I like to poke the squash all over with a fork and microwave for around 3 minutes (5 for larger squash) to slightly soften. • Bake time: This will vary depending on your oven, squash size, and from squash to squash. You’ll know it’s done when it shreds easily (but don’t overcook - you don’t want mush). Make sure to leave a comment below if this was helpful! Oh you saved my whole dinner idea 😅 I just found out how shit my knifes are though and some videos show people just cutting through it while saying this is difficult 😅
My aunt and cousin made spaghetti squash at their house a long time ago and they added really good tasting sauces and Alfredo sauce and it was really good.I am going to buy a spaghetti squash and bake it in the oven just the way you made in your video
I love this spaghetti squash because it is healthy, tastes really good, and it is good for diabetics to eat it and will not affect their blood sugar like eating other pastas

AHH YAY thanks so much! yes I’m obsessed with cooking 👩🏻🍳💖 and spaghetti squash does indeed slap
If you cut it around the middle, you will get long strands. Lengthwise gets you short strands
Great idea
Thank you!!
Can you use the squash as a substitute for noodles in noodle soup?

The electoral college needs to be demolished. My vote in California doesn’t mean anything. That’s just wrong!
