Ritish, if I may. As an Interior Designer, I would give you the advice to NEVER forget about the user. These great architects work on massive projects that don´t always translate to residential. People, in reality, aren´t minimalist... they are either posers or poor, but if you ever get the chance, don´t build houses that are just pretty to be left untouched.

One of the best learning image for any aspiring architects is appreciating the greatness of the greats who had and still reshaping our architecture environment. And a place, city or country that fully appreciates and understands what architecture really means, how it integrates with our life and surroundings and not limited and bounded by strictly crafted but fragmented, outdated and stagnant building codes that were written by non-architects who has no full understanding of the profession itself. I too was an aspiring architect (before I moved to the place where I am currently at) but I live in a place where every design should revolve around the city's building, including it's materials, assembly and most of it's design. I have lost my passion for architecture since I started to witness how everything works on this place I currently reside and practice, the design freedom is completely controlled and almost gone which is really un-inspiring. Please, if you are looking to make it big in the industry, avoid Canada at all cost.

You have used graphics, transitions, effects and played with sound to create a perfect space to understand the value of the subject, which is i think a very important thing in the field of architecture too, creating a space working on all the elements in a way people percieve things from it. Tadao Ando also found inspiration in Luis Barragán, the second Pritzker architect. The church of Light looks very similar to the window coverings from Barragán's own house on CDMX, built in the 1940s. Barragan was also a genius in using natural light and concrete construction, and you can see a lot of Barragán's ideas in Tadao's work, almost facsimile sometimes.

Tadao Ando actually tries to preserve as much of the nature where he builds a new building ... he wanted to build on a place in Germay, where there were cherry trees ... when was asked years later by the owner of this place, to design for it, he manged to save most of the trees (I think it was only 2, that had to becut) and mostly build around them ... his concrete actually has aspecial color, that only his concete has ... I know about this, cuz my professor for interios is friends with Tadao Ando

If Ando promoted himself as an "Architect" at the start he was not doing that in the U.S., where you need to be licensed to use that title. This matter is strictly enforced. // As for his concrete buildings, it is refreshing to see that the walls have not been covered with offensive graffiti. I absolutely hate seeing ugly spray paint scrawl on anything.
