      lol... I sure wouldn't mind, but I never set out to create "teaser" lessons. I generate a little money from views, so I'm happy with that. I do have some tabs for sale, but even so I encourage folks to struggle with the videos as opposed to grabbing a tab. Glad you're enjoying the lessons!

    Hey Jim, thank you for helping me on my banjo journey! You are the only reason I know what's what. I am forever grateful. I do have a request if you have the time. I've scoured the web looking for the banjo notes for, Goodnight, Texas // "A Bank Robber's Nursery Rhyme", and have come up empty-handed. It's a fun tune and sounds fairly simple. However, I am having trouble keeping up. Could you teach us how to play it? Would love ya even more- even though I don't think it's possible. Hope all is well!

    As always - thank you, Jim. One question if that's okay (and I tried slowing it down to make sure I have it right and listening closely), but In the forward and reverse rolls you explain (starting around 2:11), is the THIRD forward and reverse roll in this sequence (the one with the C-chord) a slightly different string sequence - where you pick the SECOND string instead of the THIRD? Is this right?
    - (slide 2 to 5) and then 4-3-1-5-1-3-4-1
    - (one fret up) and then 4-3-1-5-1-3-4-1 (i.e., same as above minus the slide, with the 3rd string as the second note again)
    - (C-chord, hammer on 4th) and then 4-2-1-5-1-2-4-1 (so NOT the third string, but the second string on this one?)

    • @JimPankey
      @JimPankey  4 года назад +1

      Without looking at the video I’m gonna guess that you’re correct. When playing a C chord it’s nice to hit that 2nd string.
