You can also get multiple ratings for nerve conditions (example) secondary to neck: as long as you’ve had an EMG/NCS separating individual nerves.
That’s happening to my claims now.
Otherwise you will get a single rating for “all upper radicular groups”.
There are definitely some weird cases where it works for sure, but they seem to be fixing those up with updates to the 38 CFR.

It is like a fishing contest: submitting 20 or more items on your disability claim to try to join the Hundo Club. A lot of the so called conditions are the result of the normal aging process. The trick is to tie them into an service related incident that was documented.

See the text portion at the top of the video screen from 2:35 - 2:55, where he speaks to exceptions to the rule such as with Pes planus and plantar fasciitis that even with different diagnostic codes, the "VA" only gives you the higher of the two ratings and not both. I feel you, I'm in the same boat but there is a possible path. Some have appealed on an individual basis to the BVA and won because the site of the foot pain for their diagnoses were different. No, you can only get one rating for flat feet and plantars.

Can you be rated for degenerative disc and lumbosacral strain?
Going for a C&P this week for DDD and radiculopathy. When they use the goniometer are they testing for how far you can bend before pain starts? Or how far you can bend no matter the pain? Thanks
When you have pain (the point at which the pain starts) during range of motion testing, stop and let the examiner know you have pain and that is why you stopped.
If Neck strain/DDD share the same diagnostic code. How would someone with Fibromyalgia and Neck strain grouped together into one rating, has also DDD which is causing Radiculopathy can get it SC if Fibromyalgia as per my orthopedic doctor DOES NOT CAUSE Radiculopathy. Remember neck strain got lump together with my SC Fibromyalgia. Any advice, thanks
Fibro falls under mental health rating for chronic pain. It’s rated under depression

Everything I have been hearing says how far you can bend before pain starts
. Do not push past that point.
I concur! Consistently articulate what your body is doing as you are doing it. if it hurts say so.
