Wanye, I have to say WCBS 880 is the best!!! I have listened to it ever since I was young! I have dreams of becoming a journalist (most likely in radio) I've always been interested in news. I have done the news at my middle school and I have gotten so much positive feedback from my friends and even teachers. If I do become a radio journalist, I am making sure to come to WCBS Newsradio 880. You guys are the best! I always enjoy listening to you, Steve, Alex, Paul, Pat Farnack and all the rest of the WCBS anchors and reporters! I know mainly every one of your staff because I have listened to your station for so many years! Good luck in the future! Hope to meet you all one day! It would be a dream come true! -Marcus. Wayne, this is great! I started listening to WCBS88 as a young kid because my cousin Mayer worked there. I think listening at such a young age was the real catalyst for the love of intellectual dialog. Whenever I listen to 880, I always feel a friendly and conversational approach from all the on-air talent. I've listening to Osgood File and watched CBS Sunday Morning but have never met Charles himself, even though we used to live on the same little cul de sac in suburban New Jersey.
WCBS-AM is how I know I'm back home in the mid-Hudson Valley and Catskills. And I can get WCBS even in Northern NY, where I currently live. Thanks Wayne!!! :-)
WCBS Newsradio 88 is THE BEST! I've been listening since the 1970s when I was growing up in New Jersey (looked forward to winter snow storm reports on school days) and since 1987 when I moved to NYC. I've always liked that sound at the top of the hour. Charles Osgood on Sunday, Robert Vaughn and Jim Donnelly on the morning drive. Great stuff. Until just recently I had no that you moved from the original studio in 2000:(
