Thanks for the review. Do you know if you can use 2 M.2 slots without slowing down the GPU? I read the manual and it says bandwidth is only shared with PCIEX16 if you use the M2B_CPU and M2C_CPU connectors. However, if you use M2A_CPU and M2D_SB, it is presumably fine and won't affect the GPU from what I understand
I had issues with am5 motherboards from all brands, until I got a gigabyte x670e aorus master... Then I got the white x670e pro X, no issues... If the if zen5 x3d is good I will pick this white x870e for my new build
Such a pity that motherboard makers stopped putting proper manual into box. It was much easier to check all the stuff I needed in the book, than read online manual.
haha yes I agree, I preferred to have all the info with quick access, but well board guys are going Green these few years. I had to do a guess and check when I get this board without a manual.
@@RealMelTanthe black version is just the pro. Gigabyte motherboards that are white are always called ICE and always have a non ice version. The master is their top end board, next step up from the pro.
You managed to get the noise detector working with the provided cable? I can’t see them over in bios or hwinfo64 unlike the Intel version of z790 which is working
The number of PCIE lanes is different. The pro also has an extra pcie slot. There's a few other IO diferences too. Like gigabyte adding the internal hdmi port for a hardware monitor inside the system.
@@BluD i just ordered one for my build. Waiting to see performance numbers for the 9950x3D chip though. My build is a combo gaming and 3D workstation so yeah. Hoping they've implemented something to help core parking on zen5
About the bandwidth sharing, if i use a gen 5 ssd on the main gen 5 ssd slot and two gen 4 ssds on the second and third ssd slot , will it still share bandwidth?

thanks for showing the bios . neat from gigabyte

This overview is genuinely underrated, you did a really good job explaining about the mobo, looking to buy the black version of this motherboard
HAHA thank you much! This really means a lot to me. Was it too lenghty or too dry?
Black = AORUS master?
No, I think I'm gonna go for the X670E AORUS PRO

I have this mobo in all white setup… beautiful
Cool! Do you have pictures?
Question, cus I might buy this mobo. In the other gen 5 nvme slots, if I put gen 4 ssds, will my gpu still be running at X8?
Same question from me
I have the same question.. 🤔

Mobos with shared lanes are an instant turn off for me. Shame, it's such a good looking board.
Is the rgb a rainbow color by default
*raises hand* I have two pumps. Big-ass external radiator.
Kinda in the middle of this one and the 870A strix white board. Trying to figure out the differences.
I see, what do you prioritise for board? besides the white

@@prototypep4 yeah i do think thats the way im also currently leaning at the moment.

How much does it weigh in kgs?

Yes
@enzodelgiudice5456 aw man, are you sure??
