Kinda wish I waited TWO WEEKS for the Z890 Elite AX ICE and Core Ultra 7-265K but nevertheless I'm loving my Z790 Elite AX ICE and 14700K (after a bunch of tweaking in the bios to keep from constant ctd's), but THAT Z890 would have been so good! Love the video!
going to stick to a nice 12700k build next month with a b760 s3h mobo and a mediocre 4060!new cpus are too fast for gpu bigger than 4060 and the power consumption is off the charts! I had a 12600k that died on me 2½ months ago since I killed a z690 pro rs mobo with a faulty Gigabyte 850w psu! I used the cpu on a cheap h610 mobo that also died after 2½ weeks use! probably cuz I use pc 24/7
One issue I had with a B650M Aorus Elite AX Ice is those right angled SATA/USB 3 connectors on the right side of the board. I was using an MSI case that came with a right angled USB 3 front IO cable and I had to use a different motherboard in the end because that right angled connector supplied with the case was blocked by some of the case internals. Very annoying!
I think the reset and BIOS buttons are not particularly well positioned. If you have a decent radiator in the top, I think you will have problems reaching them
Poor mans bare bones. 8 pin power limited to 150W missing from the PCIe limiting the GPU you can add to it. I doubt 5090 would run at it full potential or pairing Battlemage optimally. Half the stuff you will never need on bare bones just to make the board look busy. Extremely poor cooling for storage and the power stages for CPU is bare minimum. This is for those that don't know any better or try to spend as little as possible getting shiet. I guess there is market for these but that doesn't include me or anyone that has even the basic knowledge.
must be hard to cover all the new mobos when we all know you're waiting for the actual creator motherboard, the Z890 ProArt :)))

It's a nice board, it seems to be a low priced budget mobo. I hope Gigabyte doesn't overcharge just because the included a 12 cent code reader.
