    I'm really not much of a purist but if it were my car I would love a Fathouse modified R. Keeping it stock for the sake of resale, treat it like you're never selling.

  • @creamfalcon
    @creamfalcon 3 года назад +5

    Smart to keep yours. Not sure if you plan to keep your current R long term ; but keeping it as close to stock as possible will allow it to continually appreciate. A Fathouse/Hennessey or any seriously modded 350R will depreciate significantly more and even worse you will overpay at 109K. In 5 years with the trend of auto industry moving to electric and this being the last Shelby manual ever made you could really see a massive jump.

    • @TheAllAmericanDriver
      @TheAllAmericanDriver  3 года назад +3

      I try to convince myself to leave it alone almost every day. :) I'm doing pretty good I think. I also think this will be the best manual mustang ever made and assume the values will continue to rise.

    You should try vroom, carmax or some of the other dealers that will buy your car out right. Sell it to one of them for anything around 70k plus and then go back to the dealer and work them down and their asking price some. Nothing like being able to have a 800R in a matter of days instead of being on the waiting list!!!

    • @ocasio3024
      @ocasio3024 Год назад

      Is there really a huge difference in the regular 350 and the R? Just some suspension stuff and a deleted seat, a few other little things but no more power? Am I wrong on that? Same
      Power n Torque? Mostly suspension is better?

    Boost is like a drug. Once you drive a nicely put together boosted (turbo or supercharged) s550 stang you can't go back to stock. But your 350R should not be sold or modded. Leave it as is. Get yourself a cheap good condition s550 GT and mod it to your liking.

    • @TheAllAmericanDriver
      @TheAllAmericanDriver  2 года назад +2

      Like a drug! That’s a good analogy. Yeah I can’t bring myself to sell the GT350R, but it’s not exactly stock anymore. 🇺🇸😆

    • @CoyoteAUS

      @@lobbyrobby My Whipple 10R80 is around 620 at the wheels and really this is a sweet zone because I'm still able to get close to full traction from second on excellent semi slick. Any higher hp for a track rwd stang (not drag) you may upset that balance and just overpower the car and spin all the time.
