    It's so good to hear Seb providing the background information on both lifters. I find Rahmat's story to be interesting. I don't know how often a coach who is also a parent who also was a lifter occurs in weightlifting? But it's good to see a shared interest. The back room lifting footage is also appreciated. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in Thailand.

      Both Rahmat's and Rizki's dads were former national weightlifting athletes, and they both coach their sons (Rizki's dad seems to be absent in this comp tho), what contributes to Rahmat's uniqueness is that his mother was also a national weightlifting athlete..

      Even if Shi is not fully back to his former shape, he is almost a secured silver. Li Fabin is also pretty ahead and the favorite for Gold but Li Dayin and Tian are not a safe choice when you have guys Like Karlos, Jeisson Lopes, even Nino. • @toon2792
      @toon2792 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@pateHNBTA Depends on what they want, more golds or more medals. I think Li Dayin is way more likely to win gold than Shi, but also more likely not to medal at all. If Li Dayin is in shape, Karlos really is the only threat. Li's total looked way more comfortable than Yeison's and Nino would be very happy to reach his old PB at the moment. However, if Li underperforms, he can easily be 5th or something, since you still also have Keydomar. Shi only has to worry about Rahmat and Weeraphon realistically.
