- Karlos Nasar did what he came to the European Championships to do, winning gold in all three lifts and setting records along the way. Here's the last few lifts of the snatch portion of the competition, with Karlos making 176kg for a new personal record and a jr World Record.

He's 19 years old man. His potential is as high as he allows it to be. He could be the world record holder as a junior in snatch, jerk, and total.

Definitely talented but also is using steroids or at least peptides… growth hormone most likely for his injury
@@jaredfaulkner2202 he's not using anything. he doesn't even take a lot of bulgarian medicine when he's ill cause there are substances in them which are forbidden and they test him regularly and he has not have the right to say no to a test. So he is not even in a position to take anything and still this performance it's crazy. i just watched his first fully recorded training on a bulgarian channel. He's has a gift from God.

Bulgaria have always been PHENOMENAL at weightlifting. Karlos is breaking records at 19 years old. Imagine what he can do in the next years. I just hope The Bulgarian Federation finally doing something for their athletes to keep them motivated and keep them in Bulgaria, otherwise we will lose them.

This session for me highlighted how important a good crowd is for the enjoyment of sport. Weightlifting is so quiet a lot of the time, but having a full arena like that made the entire session so great to watch. Same goes for last year in Jerevan. I hope worlds gets a decent crowd for the big events as well.

I know he couldn't attempt the jerk, but that 222 by Nino was wild. Way faster and smoother than I would've expected. Much respect to them both (and Marin Robu, always a fun watch).
I understand very well the frustration of Pizzolato. He is a great champion and is one of the reasons Karlos improved so much. Nino deserves respect ❤
I'd love to see Karlos Nasar's 176 kg snatch in slow motion. Looks like he caught the bar at the very bottom
The playback speed can be set to slower in settings.

It was amazing to watch each lifter. You could tell in the backroom that they could feel the energy from the crowd even before they walked out and onto the platform. I like that the announcer "hushed" the audience before each lift. But you could tell that Nino was deeply displeased by the clapping after his missed lift. And I felt bad for him in that moment. I get that not everyone makes a lift though. Seeing each lifter both in the backroom and on the platform is incredibly helpful. I was trying to take in as much as possible while watching the competition. It was so good to see that Karlos recovered from last years injury. And Max and Seb's commentary is tremendously appreciated. Also, if anyone hasn't downloaded the app it's so worth it.
Home ground advantage is a very real thing
The crowd was cheering for everybody, they clapped because they admired his attempt to compete... I really hope he and all italians understand that.
I agree on @denisdimitrov5051, i was there yesterday and clapped on his attempt, not that he missed the lift.
The italian is extremely arrogant and bulgarians don't take that lightly
@@bakihanma5849 Well his character has nothing to do with anything, he is how God created him... To be the best you have to beat the best. We can only admire and honor his skill and competition, while we cheer for victory of the best man out there. As commentators said, that guy beat Carlos 4 times before, so we know he is the man to beat... he came as a major contender for that tittle. Me as just a viewer, this is not my sport at all, i know those things... guaranteed the others on the event have great respect!

Я боролся с вывихом плеча 4 года, но у меня так и не получилось вернуться в тяжелую атлетику. Похоже, что нужно не просто оперироваться, а вообще ставить новый сустав, чтобы было нормально.
Сейчас, выступаю по становой тяге, на уровне мс. Здорово конечно, но все же

Amazing lifter. Also, this shows how impressive Pyrros Dimas was, being able to snatch 180kg while being 6kg lighter than these guys.
A very valid point about Dimas. He had phenomenal leg strength.

I am new to the European Championship..what does it mean when they say "junior world record" is that a reference to his age of 19? If so, what would make it not a junior WR? Thanks for the knowledge!
There are age categories as well. Youth - 13 to 17. Junior - 15 to 20. Senior - 15 and above. Masters - 35 and above
