I tried to put a 5200kv motor in with the 100a esc and the motors peak current draw is 95a so that only leaves u with 5a left to power your servo and fans so when i hit full throttle it drew to much amps and triggered fail-safe mode and stopped the car So im going to have to upgrade to 120 amp to power the 5200kv without any problems.
Exactly !120a ESC which I am currently using is more than enough to support the required Amp to drive the motor in full throttle with the servo. Share with me your results. Surpringly I was able to hit legit bet 79-83 mph and 88 once at 443 meters until my glued-tires gave up. Unfortunately I had to stop coz my tires were burning under the warm 39c Abu Dhabi weather.
I got 120amp, sufficient to support the Motor and the Servo. Unfortunately the motor max voltage is only for 2S, but I was satisfied with the results. Looks like you are using a bigger Rig probably 8th scale with bigger motor. I am on 10th scale rig.

Technical that should work. However since your ESC is high please check the Max Lipo you can use for your motor and minimum for your ESC. Typically 9000Kv should run on 2S lipo, in this case do not use 3S or higher if the recommended max lipo for your motor is only 2S. Likewise I will be using 9000Kv soon on 2S. Happy RC Bashing

How many amps is your esc? Im running 100 amp esc in mine with a 3200kv motor and 5000mah 3s 100c and im getting 50 mph.
