I just wanted to thank you very VERY much! Not only I'm listening to this series and I love it. But the biggest improvement you made to my life was inspiring me to read a book out loud and record it. By doing so, I focus on the reading waaaaay more than usual. I'm a poor reader - that's why I switched to audiobooks. But now I can see, that slowing down and making myself focus more results in me focusing more over time and hence reading more...per unit of time. Thank you! And keep reading please. Your voice is very pleasant to listen to (y)
This gives us great pleasure as the foundation of The Twist is to have everyone believe they can learn anything with the right strategies and tools. You have proved this to yourself! Thank you for sharing!!!!
From Chris: "I had planned to read 'The Fellowship of the Ring' next as another reader/commenter earlier asked about my reading the 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, but I technically haven't read a book from that trilogy yet ("The Hobbit" is directly related but not considered part of the series), so I could go ahead and finish the "His Dark Materials" trilogy first (which contains "The Golden Compass", "The Subtle Knife", and "The Amber Spyglass") if there is more interest in that. So, yes, I will be reading that book eventually!"
plz, give this man props to the additional voices.
He's one in a million ;)!

Hi! Do you mean The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman? And if so, do you have a date you need it read by?

Do you do all three books though?
Which books are you referring to?

The Lyra voice is so distracting… disappointing because every other voice is great.
Agreed. Focusing on tone of speaker instead of exaggerating voices would make it bearable.
sounds like "hi my name is carmen winstead" lmao
