I mean, Carol's likely on the other side of the universe countless lightyears away, but sure, act like Fury had enough time *in an active car chase assassination attempt* to call up the superhero in space instead of, y'know, Tony. Who no doubt *isn't* tied into SHIELD's now compromised tech. You can bitch about the retroactive twist of Fury having Carol's number for something like the Tessaract incident in New York but *this one* is a bit weak a complaint. She'd probably just fly down, go "I don't know who's HYDRA and who isn't, what do you want me to do, lay out everyone in SHIELD and let you sort it out later? This is kinda your problem, Fury." And bug out.
Bucky in this movie - Everyone is scared of him, destroys everyone he fights.

Both Captain America films are great.
After CA1 and Avengers, Cap needed a movie that really captured his abilities and combat skills. This movie gave me exactly the type of Captain America I wanted. Still my favorite CA and MCU movie, with Civil War and Infinity War being close. I really have no complaints for Winter Soldier at all.
I love it, but I feel like the ending could've been darker, without giving away the winter soldier's identity, so that we could go into Civil War exploring that dynamic of the rivalry and intensity between two opposing super soldiers.

The fact that most of the effects in this scene are practical makes me love this film even more.
I'm obsessed with the fact that this movie is sooo good that people are willing to accept that Bucky's whole plan relied on Nick turning down that one specific street.
Id guess he was moving by rooftops too. Also, the traffic jams, it was well planned. Dont forget that it was an inside job.... he propably had direct contact with the same system that guided Fury.
It was a win-win whatever route he chose - traffic was blocking all the other routes, and given what goes down later in the film I'm willing to bet those jams were orchestrated by Hydra. If Fury had gone down one of those, he would've been a sitting duck for Hydra agents and/or Bucky to take out at their leisure, and not only did he know that, they knew that he knew that. So block off all but one route, drive your target down that way and then have your best assassin there waiting - it's a pretty decent plan.
The traffic jam was probably set up. However, because the movie doesn’t ever hint nor explicitly say it your point is fair.
If you pay close enough attention he is actually closed in on multiple fronts and forced to go that way
Just like WW1!
The theme of The Winter Soldier is so edgy and chilling. It’s just a faint and distant wail.

This is one of my top five Marvel movies because it is an action thriller, a spy thriller, and a suspense thriller all in one. And it can stand alone as a Marvel movie; even if you haven't seen any of the other movies in the MCU, you can enjoy this one based on the story line and the well-paced action. And what I love is that other players are shown in action sequences as well, like this one with Fury, and Falcon and Black Widow during the highway fight/chase. This is a great movie.
