    It was named Hindu kush got it's name from Persian invaders, who capture lot of Hindu slaves after their raids into India. While Persians going back to their empire after the raid had to pass through these mountains with harsh weather conditions, and may slaves died on their way . Hence the name Hindu Kush

    Try to fool naive people but genuinely educated Indians are much ahead of the people who plant news with an agenda. We in India know who the are. The word Hindukush is present even before the origin of Semitic Islam. In fact up to 11th AD Afghanistan was ruled by Hindu Shahi Kings who often mentioned Hindukush. Also since Avestan and and Rigvedic Sanskrit are very nearly the same language in Avestan Persian Sindh becomes Hindu and Sapta becomes Hapta, etc.

    Wasn't there a Kush Civilization from Africa in 1070 BC? Didn't the word in 850-600 BCE Hindu given by Persians since they pronounced Si as Hi (hee)? Which actually means people from river Sindh? isn't Sanskrit word Saptha (meaning 7) is pronounced in hindi as Hafta for the same reason? Isn't it possible that the Kush Mountain range was the part of the Kush Dynasty? Isn't it plausible keeping the historical dates in equation that this mountain range in 850-600 BCE and beyond was added with 'Hindu' as suppose to being 'Sindu' (the people living around and near it)?
    Even if Afghanistan was founded in 2200 BC and the Vedic India came into existence in 1500 BC and Persian Dynasty was founded in 550 BC. Then chronologically you have missed out good part of plausible logic in terms of accuracy.
    Kush Dynasty was African, Hindu Kush is a mountain range makes sense. But, when you say Hindu Kush means 'Killer of Hindus' you make absolutely zero sense and feed into the recent propaganda of historical victimization by hindus.

      It makes sense because the kush civilization existed from horn of africa to Egypt it may reached Indian subcontinent as well. There is also connection between dravidian and cushitic poeple of horn of africa. I feel the name kush related to the african kush and cushitic people

      Hindukush was named by Alexander: as "Oros Hindukus" versus the other mountain range "Oros Caukasus". It means the Hindu Mountains and the other mountain range is called Caucasian Mountains (Oros=> old greek for mountains). Over time, Oros was dropped and it became Hindukus and later Hindukush. It does not have ANYTHING to do with killing Hindus. Note: During the Aryan migration from central Asia to the Indian Subcontinent (1800BC-1500BC) the Aryans took their religion (Hinduism), their language (Sanskrit) and their famous wheeled carts with them. All of central Asia to the Indian Subcontinent were mostly Hindu.

    • @manbeh4u
      @manbeh4u Год назад +2

      You are confusing Urdu with Hindi. Urdu is a combination of Hindi, Persian and a bit of Turkish too thats why you have similar words. However, pure Hindi will not include those words from Persian/Turkish. Btw Khud Khush in Persian is Khud Kushi in Urdu BUT in Hindi its called Atma Hatya. Hope you got the point.
