I absolutely love this song & I really hope she does this again. This is a difficult song & her voice has developed so much in the last 5 years. A 9 year old can't do this song, but Angelina did it anyway & with heart!
This song while it is the same style it definitely requires more from her as the range stretches her in her upper range. She is learning breath support for those notes. Besides I like her little miscalculations they let you know she is real. Learning to sing through some difficulties is also a crucial part of a singers development, because not every night are you going to have your A game. You will see the fruits of this learning when she blows everybody away with her performance of "It's A Man's World" in about a year and a half. But like I said learning to perform when everything is not going your way. These are tough lessons and why some really good singers find out they are not built for this life. She is so adorable it hurts. I think at this point most people will cut her slack because they know she is trying hard and giving the best effort she can give. Angelina has always had trouble with the attention she gets. Even now when she finishes and curtsies, there is a look of please stop it's just me. She knows she has a gift, but she doesn't feel like it makes her better than anyone else. Thanks for your reaction it's always a considered, thought out reaction. Until the next time.

I know a lot of reactors tend to show their emotions more, but I am just not able to do that and be real at the same time. I am glad that even though I am not a typical reactor, that some still find them interesting.
This is one of those videos that goes mostly unnoticed, but it had to be on my list of favorites. The audio is not great, the piano is playing his own song, there's people milling about..... but angelina manages to stay right in the zone, and keeps song in control and at the perfect pace. I think this is a difficult vocal to sing, and she handles like seasoned pro. Thanks for continuing down the list and taking the journey through her years. You are going to keep seeing progression through each video you do. It's good to hear that you used to play sax... other than angelina, the sax was definitely the best part of this performance. You will see as you go through the list, she has played with some really good brass over the years.
I never understood why people complain about the piano in this recording. It seems to me they don't grasp the concept of "fills" and _"free harmonic accompaniment"_ which is very common in slow jazz tunes. btw, "Hagekonsert" means _Garden Concert_ and "Aksept" (eng: accept) is a nationwide resource center for people affected by HIV. They work to ensure that everyone living with HIV receives the support, guidance and care they need based on their individual needs and the understanding that HIV is so much more than a just medical diagnosis.
I think they felt it was too loud and interfered with hearing her sing. I didn't have a problem with it 'this' time. Another complaint might be they played too much, which the role of the piano is to assist not overwhelm the singer. With accompaniment less is more.

I don't know why reactors keep picking this version with its dreadful backing and poor sound when there is a beatiful version with Angelina sat at home. That simple setup blows the pants off this horrible version. This is a slow ballad for goodness sake and you have a pianist playing the most ridiculous fills.
