see that kid walk in front of the car? the SADB boys should have approached the front of the car and protected that kid... also it makes me think if they are going to make ppl back up, then they should walk the car out and protect kids that may get hit... its a contradiction to be doing this to protect kids and yet not do every thing in there power to save them when they are standing there

Yeah real hilarious that a mom with a kid in the back has to get out and remove two stickers that completely impede her ability to drive and when she goes to throw the paper at them she gets threatened with pepper spray. Real hilarious.

Absolutely, and it still amazes me that there seems to be an infinite number of people repeating the same wrong definitions of the law. It is really clear, that the way they read the law is more like "This is not a pavement, if it is easier for me to drive here, than on the road"

And I would be perfectly fine with all those drivers going to municipality with a petition to reorganize this place, making sidewalk smaller, cause maybe it can be done without impeding pedestrians movement, creating parking spots, etc.. But like this, a kid can be hit while being on a sidewalk. And we only hear them suggesting "tHeN dO soMEthiNG abOUt it to MaKE moAR PArkiNg spOtS", while doing nothing themselves, for themselves.

And yes, i agree, but i think they should take some of those lawns and make them a lot smaller, and make it possible to park there. If they made them long enough to make cars park nose first up against the pavement section, then they would be able to make lots of parking spaces.
But then again....A lot of the time, they drive along the pavement, only to bypass the traffic jam on the real road, and often, when they park in front of the store, there is a parking lot behind the buildings or a little further down, and to be honest, there, they should do nothing, because those people are just lazy AF...

It really amazes me how anti-social those people driving on the *trottoir* are. No regards for the law, but the law should not even be necessary, they should respect other people just like they want to be respected. Just look at them feel outraged when they only even just get asked about why they are doing this... Immediately demanding respect while they give no respect to others.

Woah, deja vu.
The events at 7:10 connect with 6:08! It's their baby which runs at the front of the white BMW! The baby had all the right to be there and to run around there, because it's a sidewalk. So, in this case, if the white bmw and also their car wouldn't be there at the first place, then the mothers deeply concerning breath seeing their child in the front of a car on the SIDEWALK could be avoided! No fear and no stress for the mother! And this is one example why SADB folks are doing the right thing, trying to tell to drivers to stick to the traffic code!

Great episode! The couple of dummies absolutely sure that the laws allow them to park but never showed which law... The good old "we work, we park"... The lady so loving with her child (even though he was in danger toying with that BMW)... And don't forget the passerby lawyer that definitely won that trial...

A sidewalk is what someone with a club foot does.
It's a pavement or footpath.

British English,as a mother tongue is spoken by 45% of speakers.

could some1 explain to me or give a example of 'building grounds'. the drivers keep saying it, and i dont really understand.
"Building grounds" generally refers to the part of a private property that's designated for parking or other uses by the owner. It is generally legal to CROSS OVER a sidewalk to park on a building's grounds.
For example, imagine a typical suburban home with a driveway that crosses over a sidewalk, and a paved parking spot adjacent to the house. The resident would have to drive across the sidewalk in order to get to their paved spot, and that is permitted. HOWEVER, that only allows you to CROSS the sidewalk when there's no other means to access the building's grounds. You can't park on the sidewalk. You can't drive ALONG the sidewalk. You can just cross over it, briefly, to get to your parking spot, which is NOT on it.
Larger buildings can also have these, but in all such cases, there will be a clear curb cut that takes you from the road, ACROSS the sidewalk, to the grounds. Never will you have to turn onto the sidewalk and drive ALONG it to get to such a space.
