7:02 "buy once and you're never gonna have to use it"......lol.
True statement for 90% of the people who buy it!
Not a single pull-up was done that day ;)
"kipping muscle-ups" - that explains the hole in the ceiling.
The price for the rack in insane, and bench is just out of this world.
Can you attach safeties to this rack?
P.S. Great review by the way.
Haha that hole is actually from running audio cable. I need to repair it but have been putting it off.
Yes, you can attach Spotter Arms to it.
Great review Coop! Still on the fence whether to buy it or not due to cost concern but your review answers most of the questions I had regarding this rack. The only other thing I wish the bench has was whether it could be put in an incline position.
Suggested Improvements: multi-grip pull up bar (now available), an adjustable incline/decline bench that folds away, quick fold down spotter arms. I’m probably going to buy this rack (minus the bench) later this year when I finish building my new house.
This might be a longshot, but could you do a video on what attachments we can use on the PRX? I saw your DIY Lat Pulldown and was wondering if the rogue top beam would fit in between the prx pro rack. Thanks for always giving us great content!
great review, thanks
Coop! My wife and I have recently started building our home gym and your videos have been great! In fact, I've never considered reaching out to someone on RUclips before watching your reviews. Based on your videos we've narrowed down our rack choice between Rogue's full folding rack and this PRX PRO rack. With that said, do you know if Titan's lever arms fit on the Profile Pro? I know the titan arms are cheap, but I like that I can remove them by pulling a pin when I want to pack everything up. Thoughts?
I just hope they incorporate an incline and decline feature to the fold away bench in the near future.
ruclips.net/video/Z2U4SofUpX4/видео.html congrats
Love your reviews, I am new to more serious lifting and have very little space at home, this would be ideal! Was the install difficult? Will a standard house beam be enough support?
I love my prx squat short rack. I havr the 3x3. I would like to know if I can add leverage arms to it? If not I been really thinking of selling it to get a different rack that can take more attachments.
I heve 3 car garage and don't park cara inside. Just got prx for the clean look I guess. But I have space for a half rack or even a full rack
Coop, what about t2bs .? Seems like that lower pullup bar would be in the way ?
on PRX Rack, is there any option of gas shock replacement if they stopped working?
You know to improve stability, I'd probably add some seats at the bottom of those tubes that fold up. Just fasten them to a hinged board that folds up running the full width at the bottom. You're probably going to see a huge improvement on lateral stability.
Should I do rack pulls on my prx rack with the spotter arms or will this be bad for the bolts on wall?? I don't want them to get loose over time. I have two buldging disk so I wanna start doing rack pulls instead of deadlifts. There is someone who wants to buy it and will sell it if I can't do rack pulls on it to get rep fitness rack
Is it safe for the squat rack to be mounted on the wall long term? I'm interested in this product but wouldn't want my wall to snap a hole in a few years due to fatigue.
Please do a review view on the. Titan fitness loadable lat pulldown
hey coop if i got a fat pad can you put take the PRX Bench Pad off and put the Fat pad on??
What brand is the peg board and where did you buy it?
Hey man random question can you change the top on that bench to say a Rogue Fat Pad?
Would a rep fitness AB 4100 line up right for bench press?
Man, I fricking love you.
😻
How much ceiling clearance do you need?
Thanks for the review. I was debating on either the rogue or the prx squat rack. I live in Hawaii and prx’s shipping and handling prices are expensive. Fortunately, I found a fitness equipment store that sells the 2x3 prx version.
I should’ve listened to your advice. I purchased the rogue rml-3wc, and have been using it for the past 3 months. Opening it and closing it was becoming a chore.
Then one day, I was checking out Facebook marketplace, and someone was selling a prx pro rack. I thought about your review and I bought it. I should’ve listened to your advice. Oh well, lesson learned.
I was thinking about buying the rogue monster monolift attachment. Would it fit on the prx pro squat rack? Anyways, thank you.
I’m from Hawaii too. What store is that?
If that bench could be adjusted to different angles it would be incredible, and if they had a premium bench option or something. Plus add some attachments like a dip bar and safeties (which I assume would be avaliable) and it's a perfect compact gym
They actually have those attachments. But yeah, if it could be an FID Bench, it would definitely be a game changer!
Review the Pendlay elite squat stand
Hey Coop, I'm curious if the PRx PRO Profile Rack is compatible with any of Rogue's Monster Lite accessories? e.g. dip bar, landmine, etc... I need a new rack and I'm leaning towards getting the PRx PRO Profile Rack, but I already have a few Rogue rack accessories that I don't want to have to re-purchase from PRx.
It should be considering the holes and uprights are the same size.
The PRX pro rack has 1 inch holes compared to the regular PRX rack, which has 5/8” holes. So I think the rogue monster line would fit.
I’m thinking of getting a rogue monster monolift attachment for my PRX pro rack, but I’m a little hesitant because I haven’t seen anyone do this yet.
Coop, do you think the rogue monster monolift attachment work with the PRX pro?
How is it benching with the spotter arms in place? It doesn’t quite look like the holes go down far enough to use the spotter arms for bench. I would hate to buy this and find out they wouldn’t work because the bar would sit too high when benching.
Unfortunately I do not have the spotter arms.
I wish someone would mimic that bench design, but have it where it bolts to the bottom cross bars of a R3/T3 and flips towards the back when needed. would be like a hybrid of this and the rogue bench you have
That would be pretty sweet. May be worth a shot to send into Rogue or Titan as a product idea!
CoopTrains I may to Titan so I could actually afford one if they built it lol
Haha I understand that.
Do I need a rack to do squats?
Does the bench also go on an incline
Beautiful kip.
Coop how do you heat and cool your garage gym ?
With the sweat of me working out! In all seriousness, I just fight through it. I like the extra challenge.
Are they going to make a bench that has incline and decline capabilities?
Old video I know, but was this the Pro rack? Or Profile rack? Also what was the height? 73” or 90”
He says the pro at 2:40, which is 90" if I recall correctly
Next video suggestion:
tour of your garage gym
I'm in the process of putting in an outdoor rig as well as creating a doorway to my other garage stall. Once those are done, I likely will.
I wish they added Dips bars and Captain seat.
And what if you’re garage floor is a bit uneven. Seems it wouldn’t work
You can get a leveling kit from them
Thats actualy realy cool 🖒
I agree!
Is there a locking mechanism to keep the rack up and prevent it from coming down on its own or preventing a child from pulling it down?
MalverdeTX. 3:41 dude...
I'd use it solely as a squat rack...add foot long safety arms...but wouldn't add the bench as there is no way to add safety bars or straps. Especially when you're training alone and heavy. Rather have a 4 post rack for that.
How much is it, and where? If you would have put this in the link would be nice
Hi Gary, Amazon sells this particular model here: amzn.to/2xrTwU9
If you honestly think the rogue fold away rack takes that long to setup you've either never used one or have no mechanical abilities...I can set mine up in less than a minute...and for the cost of the PRX system you can get the rogue or titan rack and have money left to spend elsewhere...
"buy it once, never gonna have to use it" lol
How about safeties?
Watch the video
I wish the price point was better. Looks awesome.
Check out the 2x3 Profile Rack, it's quite a bit cheaper.
I would like to see a comparison vid with the Rogue TB2 trap bar vs the Titan trap bar, and maybe the rogue curl bar vs the titan curl bar.. are the rogue bars in this specialty bar category really worth the money ? I would also love to see some belt squat machine reviews as well as some "DIY" belt squat solutions.
Those are all great ideas, I'll see what I can do!
Did you bust your head through the ceiling doing muscle ups?! Lol just kidding, thanks for all of these informative reviews, much appreciated! Your written review and video for the T-3 vs. R-3 helped me with my purchase.
Haha no, I actually almost fell through while hooking up speakers. Thankfully I caught myself!
😂 Is that hole in the ceiling for sound muscle ups?
Did you say pull ups?
can say that again
Kipped your way through the roof 👊💪😅
Nice one, I like , but not enough to buy one. I like my barbell to stay on the rack ready ,
I hear you, that said, they have a barbell attachment to store your bar on the rack as well!
Isn't anyone questioning the hole in the ceiling
He forgot the most important thing. The eight of it. How much room do you need to fold it up??? How tall are your ceilings? How much room do you need if you don't have a pull up bar
Those pull ups destroyed the ceiling by your head
Unfortunately, me running audio cable and slipping on a ceiling joist caused it. Thankfully no death occured.
8.5 foot ceiling, instantly off my list. Even if it would work, that is too much money.
They make a shorter version.
2023. Back 2 the Future. Baby Coop.
PRx 3X priced. ROGUE RML-3W is better priced for what it is. $1200 vs $450
Only issue with this is that they dont sell it outside of the US
Hopefully soon!
Well that sucks
buy once, you'll never have to use it... lmfao
Safeties?
They have them, I just didn't get them.
I News it, really
Is all that equipment just for show!!!?
4:02
0:25 those are not pullups.
Everything was great until you mention crossfit, then you did those crossfit pull ups and had to pause the video and delete my history browser but not before I dislike the video and report you to RUclips
Jerome 092 if pull ups were meant for cardio.....
Lololololol
There's no way you where ever going to squat that weight
You're right. Current PR is 425 lbs.
gj
Thanks Ivan!
i don't mean this in a bad way but watching these older videos compared to the newer ones it feels like you aged from 20 to 40 in 5 years, but that's not a bad thing, you seem a lot more mature and competent and wise in the newer videos, in the old videos you seem like a college kid doing a school project on youtube
Yeah go ahead and look up the price lol
The hole in the ceiling is from doing pull ups on this rack. No muscle ups!
dislike for crossfit pullups
Great product...but not worth the price at all!
I beg to differ. Although it is pricey, the stow-away abilities along with its features are unlike any other rack available. That said, to each their own.
Don't get me wrong.. I really like it. However, there are way much cheaper alternatives out there, including Rouge Fitness. I even think I can import from china and still be cheaper with the same, if not even better, quality. I am not sure, but I think if you approach respectable fabricators like Ralph Crepinsek you might get the same design cheaper.
In the end it is up to the buyer and their budget.
Btw, great review as always 👍
Thank you!
