    Yes this is the Deer I was referring too, in my other comment on the 180" deer you shot, your willingness to keep going, and follow out till the end, once an animal is hit is what got me to subscribe, congratulations to you both on a great harvest.

    Congratulations to both of you on such a great buck! Not many guys would let someone else hunt a buck that you’ve put so much time and effort into. Great sportsmanship and very happy to see it end in a success. Way to go!

    . I shot an 8 pointer in Kansas once about same size ..had the hugest tracks I've ever seen. I rattled it in ..shot it with arrow . I believe it jumped in the huge river ..I never found it .

    Great video. Good job putting in the effort both before and after the first encounter with that buck. If you hunt Whitetails in the big bush that's bound to happen sooner or later. Your dedication to the hunt and respect for that deer are the only reasons why you recovered him. Congrats Crystal! Beautiful buck!

    Why on all these shows are people retrieving their deer in the dark? In over 50 years hunting Ive never had to do it!!!!

    • @djboutdoors6473
      @djboutdoors6473  Год назад

      Not sure if you watched this entire video but…we recovered her deer before dark.
      As for an answer to your question, I’m going to go out on a limb here and offer this…could it be because the shot their animals just prior to dark not giving them time to recover during daylight? 🤔
      Thanks for watching!

    • @bobskaftfeld5611
      @bobskaftfeld5611 Год назад

      @@djboutdoors6473 By her own words she shot the deer at 8:30 that morning! Look at the video! Its dark when shes telling her story! The “Host” even asks her to tell her story!!!!!

    • @djboutdoors6473
      @djboutdoors6473  Год назад +3

      @@bobskaftfeld5611 I am the host and in the video you can clearly see her walk up to the deer during legal light. Not that it even matters.
      Broadly as outdoorsman and women, (if you include yourself in this group) the worst thing we can do is pick and antagonize each other in how we pursue our passions. We get enough criticism from those who do not understand why and what we do so it’s a shame when we start criticizing each other within our hunting community. No laws were broken here nor in other videos where hunters are recovering their animals in the dark. In many instances the ethnical and responsible thing to do is back out and give an animal time to expire. My suggestion to you is that you stop watching videos you may not agree with or least stop criticizing those who share your passion for the outdoors. By doing so our small community is sure to emplode on itself.
