This entire Album helped me out more than I could ever put into words. Right before Em made his comeback with this album, I was having the worst year of my life. I had recently gotten out of the military, was dealing with horrible PTSD, found out my wife at the time had been cheating on me while I was deployed to Iraq and was getting divorced, couldn't find a job, and felt like my whole life was completely falling apart. I basically played Not Afraid and No Love on repeat over and over and over and over and it gave me the strength to say f*ck the world and get my shit together. Now, it certainly wasn't immediate, but without Em and a few of the people around me, I'd probably not be here today. Thanks Em, I'll always be a stan because of that!
I've been rediscovering Em over this past year, in large part to you Cliff, so thank you. Love this song, and Beautiful. Looking forward to the next breakdown. ❤🔥👏🏻💯
Right? It’s truly crazy going back to something I grew up with, and realizing this dude is a legitimate genius and has been from day 1 I’m a stan but even I had my own opinions on things, and this dude has been on point ALWAYS 50 too I literally don’t think I’ve heard 50 say even the slightest ignorant thing ever, he’s always giving advice and knows the business more than some of the best businessmen out there They’re the best
I see and hear a lot of people who say they fell off of Eminem at some point and came back for this album or that album. I can honestly say I have listened to everything from day 1. I'm not some crazy Stan because I will be the first to say when something he put out was bad but I have always had a great appreciation for what he has done thru the years. There has been a few artists thru the years that have helped me get from one place to another and Eminem has always been one of them.
I was hospitalised with covid and wasn't expected to make it. This was one song from several artists I had on repeat the entire time I was in hospital. It was the meds trial I got onto that saved me physically but mentally it was the music. This is a tough one for me to listen to now but it means a hell of a lot to me too
@Brian Murphy This is my song to bring me up, to find that fight!! Oddly, Fight Music by D12, Bizarre is ridiculously bizarre, Eminem sings the chorus and a verse, the other D12 members…. The song is whack! But it gives me that mental fight back. I got that 10 year old rage, though. 🤣. My thoughts and prayers to you! ✌️💚🙏

10:15 I don't know when exactly Beats came out, but Obie Trice can be seen wearing them in the music video of You Don't Know (2006). So they had a design prototype back then.
That’s an awesome idea, but maybe I’ll play some of that old OG music first. The original Roof is on Fire (not TWO LIVE CREW - save the embarrassment, lol). I’ll need to update with the group, it’s a long name. Last twenty seconds of such a sampled song. Ring the Alarm, I don’t know. I was 15 at those 18 under dance clubs in 1990, so the early stuff was on rotation. House you, by The Jungle. Everyone loved that. The floor filled and it could be the equivalent of a one hit wonder. I was 15 and having a blast, taste wasn’t developed yet. But the Beastie Boys and N.W.A, my dad heard as he battled back playing Pink Floyd, REO Speed wagon, The Who, ELO, The Eagles, 1812 Overture. Took us to so many free concerts I have seen so many 80’s bands. Also took us to Pink Floyd (20th row - I liked Comfortably Numb) and The Eagles, hello Hotel California, just to start. Cold Little Heart has a Pink Floyd vibe. He liked it. Rap God, I wouldn’t bet on it. But “Not Afraid “, that’s one he needs to hear. Because I’ll do my best to “never let him down.” Thanks to you both for the thought and how it got me here. ✌️💚🙏
as much of a killer Em is... he has a few tracks that everyone can see come from the heart... this song... "mockingbird" "stepping stones" "guts over fear" "kings never die" those the ones that come to mind.
This song was my anthemn through some really hard times. Got me digging deep into his life and mine, on and off stage. I started writing again because his lyricism is fkng poetry. Loved 2Pac as well RIP 💚
That promise is one of the craziest things ever I’ve been listening to this dude since he turned our world from black and white to technicolor in 99, and that promise is BIG Dude is the realest entertainer I think the world has ever seen Cliff bringing the heat as usual, keep it up homie ✊ I’ll request some Encore stuff, would love to see those songs that NEVER get reacted too on these channels Tons of stuff on Encore is slept on
I agree....I have listened to this track 100 times and still get chills. One thing I always thought was this is the first time that I remember that he didn't have his hair bleached, so in a way we are getting a new em. Love the reaction man. Thanks
One of my favorite Em songs amazing I have to send this song to my nephew who has some drug problem's I'm emotional right now, that's when you know how great he his when his music touchs your heart and soul THX for your kind words I have been so worried over my nephew I raised him and I can't lose him ty sometimes I feel like I'm all alone in this fight for him sorry for going on about this I'm not gonna lose him without a fight thank for letting me know I'm not alone ty🐐🐐👍☘️🙏🙏🙏
Love this song!! Much love cliff ❤️ This song gives me goosebumps 🙏 And anthem especially trying to get out of an abusive marriage and drug abuse... Mann... I love this so much.
Damn my guy Cliff damn. I can’t even begin to describe how bad I needed to see this and it needed to be seen thru you. Man keep doing and being you. Touching lives and saving people who’s down and out and feeling a type of way. Thank you for real no cap thank you
I absolutely love EM! His music is second to none and it’s not even close. This song still brings tears to my eyes. Thank you Cliff for what you do brother! Do LIKE HOME!
It's so easy to just let a song like this play, because you know it so well, but really paying attention to it just gave me a fresh appreciation. This is what a lot of people don't understand about watching a good reactor. I can't wait for Rap God!
Real talk. When this song came out I was just getting over a really bad point in my life where I was...going through a lot of the same problems Em expresses in this track. And it really helped knowing that even someone as big as him could have these problems and express them like this for the world to hear. Big props to him rebounding!
This song just always hypes me up. I never had many problems in my life (thank heck!) but when I listen to this, I can just feel how it would affect someone who's been through shit in their lives.
This song came into my life when I was at a real low point in my life... relationship ended, moving back to where I grew up and moving in with my sister. This song helped give me that tenacity to claw my way back on my feet. It felt like this song really let you see behind the curtain also. This was the first song of his that I noticed it was about "Marshal"... not about his girls, or about Shady... this is Marshal being vulnerable. It just hit different, and is why it's such a huge anthem.
I personally think the “lookin down on me I’m tearing down your balcony” is a double because he’s not that tall, but he says you’ll have to be on an elevated surface to be able to look down on him. I’ve always loved that line.
Agree, but a lot of society has this “never me” mindset. Especially some high functioning adults, will look down on people who struggle with addiction and/or mental illness. The reality, it doesn’t discriminate. So if you look down on me, I’m tearing down your balcony, because the strength, fortitude and courage was not asked for but when life has put you through it and you make it out the other side, you have it in spades.
Another fire reaction. Have you watched Hailie Jade’s RUclips Podcast “A Little Bit Shady”? With Marshall’s background , addiction, and Kim’s struggles, they managed to raise an amazing daughter. I watched it the other day and was impressed by her. So, if Marshall and Slim focused on raising his daughters, they did it right.
This song was my introduction to Em back when it was released and the first rap song I learned every single word of. We performed the song in my music class, when I was 12 years old. The entire class was supposed to be doing the song, but in the end, my best friend and I were the only one that could rap the verses (we're from Denmark, so we couldn't really speak English at the time, making it damn hard to learn), meaning that I did the first and third verse solo and my friend did the second verse solo. I practiced for hours every day for weeks until I knew this shit start to finish. I even had the timing down without needing the instrumentals. We performed in front of like 4-500 people and fucking slayed it (at least as I remember it, haha!) It's one of my favorite memories ever. What a fucking song
That is awesome!!! Can't wait till your Dads on with you!!! Maybe he just hasn't heard the right rapper or song! Lol. The honest ...open appeal on his face and in his voice when he says " To the fans I'll never let you down again I'm back. I promise never to back on that promise"! Thats the part that has always gotten me...like he's looking for forgiveness for being gone. Just vulnerable and emotional appeal....I guess would be the way to put it. Idk. lol. It probably doesn't make sense to anyone else.
It’s a beautiful verse. He’s making amends. He feels responsible to his fans. But he still did it for himself. Whatever life hits you with, you must do it for yourself. Everyone will reap the benefit, so anyone struggling. Worry about you. It’s really not selfish.
I just love this song! It's so inspiring, and shows how's he's matured and seems strong in his recovery. He's the KING of the double entendre. I love your passion for words. They are so powerful! Beautiful.
Roadrunner had a great roster of bands, any hints? Lot of crossover back in the day too (Judgement night soundtrack etc.) He'll, I'm 50, never respected musical barriers. Great music is great music wherever it comes from. Keep on keeping on Cliff, always appreciate your work 🤘
If you want some fun go through "Shady Past" by Shoe Gang. Crooked I and couple his homies is fire. Can't say one song cos you'll love the whole album 👌
Cliff please do d12s my band, when the music stops, how come, under the influence, purple pills, and fight music. Also Eminem’s square dance, business, white American, the way I am, evil deeds,we made you, without me, cleaning out my closet, bad influence, Marshall mathers
I always thought that "you lied through your teeth" line was aimed at Rick Ross and his whole being a CO situation, cause Ross did criticize Em after Relapse came out
Holy shit tommy might have been based or influenced on Eminem Eminem hates long term acting does cameos and music videos but I freaking see it 50 knows so he's like let's get the closest thing to em
Small, useless fact on the video itself. You hear the line, "get back Klick-Klack-Klow", that's a Naughty by Nature song, you've seen that Treach is one of his idols, the video was actually shot about 3 blocks from the location of the old Naughty by Nature store in Newark. Useless info I know. I just recognized the neighboorhood.
I still want you to check out Cradle of Filth - Deflowering the Maidenhead, Displeasuring the Goddess, and while it's not Roadrunner, it was pretty adjacent... 😉
My biggest takeaway from this video is you saying late 80s and early 90s hip-hop isn't "real" hip-hop, when its never been done better than then. It's literally called the Golden Age of hip-hop.
This song transcends genre and time. It’s not about it’s spot in hip hop, it’s about a lifesaving message from a man, who declared “I’m Not Afraid” and I’ll even reach out my hand to everyone to anyone. This song saves lives. It’s a kid thinking of making the worst decision, putting this song on and holding on another day.
I understand. Sometimes songs are so overwhelming that the reaction can become internalized. And you’re thinking all the thoughts but what gets through is what gets through. ✌️💚
Way to much talking at this point....not horrible but just looking for more facial reactions I guess maybe n it really affecting them emotionally...not a bunch of random talking n random facts about crap rumors....n pause pause pause.....like duh
This is a bar breakdown channel boss. I don’t do fake reactions. I don’t overreact and fall out of my chair or act like I’ve never heard something before. There are plenty of channels out there like that. It’s my job to pause and commentate. But it’s all good if it isn’t for you. I appreciate your time. Have a good weekend my guy 👊
I like your reactions bro but this gotta be the corniest song of all time lol. Plus is has the “feed the world beans and gas it up” line. Idk man, I think Eminem is hella overrated. So many better rappers from that era.
It was a commercial song. It wasn’t meant to be a lyrical masterpiece. I’d have to disagree and say offering to help people isn’t corny. You may not have enjoyed it but look at the numbers, billions have. Much love 🙏
@@CliffBeatsOfficial I think there are ways to make inspirational music without it being corny I.e. lose yourself. This was just a miss from Eminem. Yelling “not afraid!” Is like the corniest of corny. Plus again, he says he’s gonna “feed the world beans and gas it up.” That automatically disqualifies a track from being taken seriously lol
@@yasssssok7319 to your standards. It’s ok if you don’t like a line, melody, chorus, verse, or complete song. My main point is this, this is one of his highest streamed songs and continues to be. You can critique from your phone or computer but he’s not “disqualified” to the world, just to you. If it’s not for you, just don’t listen 😊
@@CliffBeatsOfficial I totally get how music is all subjective but Rebecca black - Friday - is also one of the most listened to songs of all time. I would hardly call that a good song even though it has all those streams. I guess my disdain towards Eminem is that I think he’s super overrated. He’s one of the first competent white rappers and I think he gets a boost from that. So many better rappers from that era - talib kweli, black thought, blu, Andre, etc. Eminem can rap fast, sure, but he doesn’t have the quality of work that other rappers do. Pretty much everything after the Eminem show is pretty mediocre.

Because I’ll do my best to “never let him down.”
Thanks to you both for the thought and how it got me here.
✌️💚🙏
as much of a killer Em is... he has a few tracks that everyone can see come from the heart... this song... "mockingbird" "stepping stones" "guts over fear" "kings never die" those the ones that come to mind.
Yeeeeesssssss........chills every time from mycap top to the tip of my toes!!!! Love your reactions Bro!!!! Keep keepin real!!?🤘🔥🤘
Thanks Cliff for reacting and giving your explanation of his lyrics 😊
This song was my anthemn through some really hard times. Got me digging deep into his life and mine, on and off stage. I started writing again because his lyricism is fkng poetry. Loved 2Pac as well RIP 💚
That promise is one of the craziest things ever
I’ve been listening to this dude since he turned our world from black and white to technicolor in 99, and that promise is BIG
Dude is the realest entertainer I think the world has ever seen
Cliff bringing the heat as usual, keep it up homie ✊
I’ll request some Encore stuff, would love to see those songs that NEVER get reacted too on these channels
Tons of stuff on Encore is slept on
I agree....I have listened to this track 100 times and still get chills. One thing I always thought was this is the first time that I remember that he didn't have his hair bleached, so in a way we are getting a new em. Love the reaction man. Thanks
Full body chills!! As per us’

The most difficult thing coming through addiction is rediscovering who you are. He finally came through it stronger
Love this song!! Much love cliff ❤️
This song gives me goosebumps 🙏 And anthem especially trying to get out of an abusive marriage and drug abuse... Mann... I love this so much.
Damn my guy Cliff damn. I can’t even begin to describe how bad I needed to see this and it needed to be seen thru you. Man keep doing and being you. Touching lives and saving people who’s down and out and feeling a type of way. Thank you for real no cap thank you
One of my favorite songs when i was in high school and stressing
I love that it's cool your lucky to have him your Dad love it 🐐☘️👍
I absolutely love EM!
My opinion is Em has the most to be proud of. He will in my opinion always lead the game.
The way you explained rap god reaction sounds dope I don't think my dad would take it he'd probably go into shock 😂
I'm with you Cliff and many others, still get chills when hearing this track. It's so good.
Reaction suggestion - Don't Front - Eminem ft. Buckshot
Real talk. When this song came out I was just getting over a really bad point in my life where I was...going through a lot of the same problems Em expresses in this track. And it really helped knowing that even someone as big as him could have these problems and express them like this for the world to hear. Big props to him rebounding!
This song just always hypes me up. I never had many problems in my life (thank heck!) but when I listen to this, I can just feel how it would affect someone who's been through shit in their lives.
i did not like relapse when it came out. but after listening to it so many times its one of my favs. deja vu is sucha good track
It now has over 1.8 Billion Views. This Song and this Album Helped me through losing Both My Parents by the age of 28.
So if you look down on me, I’m tearing down your balcony, because the strength, fortitude and courage was not asked for but when life has put you through it and you make it out the other side, you have it in spades.
this is so powerful
Another fire reaction. Have you watched Hailie Jade’s RUclips Podcast “A Little Bit Shady”? With Marshall’s background , addiction, and Kim’s struggles, they managed to raise an amazing daughter. I watched it the other day and was impressed by her. So, if Marshall and Slim focused on raising his daughters, they did it right.
Such a legendary track. Helped me a lot back when recovery dropped, love from DC Cliff
A great song great message definitely a changing Shady into Eminem but Shadys always inside.
A song I haven't heard before with em and 50 called psycho was sick thanks to spotify
Doesn't matter how many times I hear this song, I still get chills too. 💙
Can't wait to see the Rap God reaction lol
Beautiful.
Definitely another top 3 song from Em for me!
I love it! I can’t wait for you and your dad to react to rap god! 🔥❤️❤️❤️
Chicago northsider here!
Roadrunner had a great roster of bands, any hints? Lot of crossover back in the day too (Judgement night soundtrack etc.) He'll, I'm 50, never respected musical barriers. Great music is great music wherever it comes from. Keep on keeping on Cliff, always appreciate your work 🤘
Yo that’s a crazy kamikaze reference
Wooo guests
How could I never notice that he said :Perhaps I ran the accents in to the ground with an accent lol
The fact that this video has 1 billion views means that 1 in 7 people have seen it
About the point you make at ~4:55, "...a fuck you for Christmas, this gift is a curse." Fuck being a 'curse' word. 🤯
First time I caught that...
Show your dad some harry mack!!! I would love to see his reaction!!
You should have your dad react to Survival by Eminem
Let him hear stay wide awake
Already done
It's the reason i don't get MGK making fun of him for this song i love it it's one of my favorites
welp, cant wait for dad...
since when have i unsubbed??? i swear i was subscribed....
#Algoboost
Please Breakdown Mumble Rap-Knox Hill.
Love from India.
Sean C not useless. I love to hear backstory! Thank you
Hey bud you need to do fine line eminem banger
I think I did my friend
If you haven't done it yet you need to check out I Need A Doctor!!!!
Sup
@@annewilliamson6261 I agree with all of this and still stand by my statement.
I understand. Sometimes songs are so overwhelming that the reaction can become internalized. And you’re thinking all the thoughts but what gets through is what gets through. ✌️💚
I believe that you claim you King you lied through you teeth was a TI diss but who am I
Way to much talking at this point....not horrible but just looking for more facial reactions I guess maybe n it really affecting them emotionally...not a bunch of random talking n random facts about crap rumors....n pause pause pause.....like duh
@@CliffBeatsOfficial most times really like, and maybe was just the mood was in.. like good ass channel n respect for sure and you def know your ish
@@yasssssok7319 opinions are just opinions man. Simmer down. Ur opinions don't mean shit to anyone else besides the few that may agree with u
