It has got to be the ultimate mental health fight song!! This album and stuff that followed this album, it saves you at your lowest, it’s says what you need to hear, it in inspires life and motivates one more time, when you are nearly finished yet there is still more to come!!!
In this song Eminem talks about probably his most hated album relapse and how he agrees that album wasn't the best also. He said the random accents in the album were probably the problem which I feel lots of people could agree. Also this song is from the album Recovery which talks about how he recovered from the place he was in hence the title.
When I came to that Conjunction Junction and asked what's my function....2 of my fav lyricists.... Eminem and Tech N9ne had separate songs in different times that offered solice. This song and Tech N9ne "Fragile" brought it home. His girls he is raising motivated him to be his best.

I’m 5 year clean from a 11 year heroin addiction. God damn this song speaks volumes to me and was one of the last tracks I listened too that helped me get help I needed. Em likely saved my life with his recovery album.
I've tried listening to this song again recently. Not because it's hard or whatever. But because my one neighbor for like a year would blare just this song and I remember having my window open, playing outside, or trying to sleep and all I could hear was this same fucking Eminem song. It now reminds me of some of the better years of my life but I remember for years hating this song because I heard it for a year straight. The guy wouldn't go to bed till like three in the morning so he wouldn't userally start the song till 5 at night. Edit: While listening to the song more it knocked loose a really funny memory. It was summer and we each lived in different duplexes next to each other not the same one. But both our AC units were out so we had our windows and judging how loud Not Afraid was that night they probably had their side door open which was in the living room where their sound system was set up. And due to this it was really loud and my brother was done with Not Afraid. So he turned up his game which was some WW2 game (this was like 2010-2011) and it sounded like we were on the battlefields of Europe with all the German, explosions and gun shots. But you could still hear Not Afraid so my mom started blaring her music. It was on an Idock so I doubt it was that loud to the neighbors. Not that they could hear it over Not Afraid most likely. But the house was just full of the terrible sounds of Not Afraid, WW2, and at this point Other Eminem songs, ICP but mostly Kottenmouth Kings. I wanted something I could focus on so I started blaring Ke$ha, Nickelback, and other music I was listening to. And it was terrible but Non of us wanted to listen to Not Afraid. And when I left my room to ask my mom something no one could hear one another so we just communicated vea writing or not at all. No clue how anyone got any sleep that night because even without our symphony of terrible we still had our windows open so Not Afraid wouldn't be over till 3. But it was fun in a weird way
When you find yourself forgetting your demons; you may find yourself back on the corner with a dime bag. When you find yourself there tho just don't give up hope; you just need to work towards a better life again.

Hi. Finding you it's such an honor!!! Thank you for everything! And as you said, you know it's awesome, because it's about EMINEM!!! This song, it's message and Eminem's history, is just what I'm about! You, as a health professional, know that recovery doesn't have to be always about substance abuse!!! RECOVERY, for every cancer patient, is about VICTORY!!! I have RECOVERED and concored the GIANT!!!! I have taken back what has always belonged me... My space!!! My dignity, my health!!! My sanity!!! My universe!!! My loved ones....MY FAITH, to never look back again!!! I am out to do what I want to do. And I don't care what you think about it! It has got to be the ultimate mental health fight song!! This album and stuff that followed this album, it saves you at your lowest, it’s says what you need to hear, it in inspires life and motivates one more time, when you are nearly finished yet there is still more to come!!!
That energy from that guy !! This what people need today
In this song Eminem talks about probably his most hated album relapse and how he agrees that album wasn't the best also. He said the random accents in the album were probably the problem which I feel lots of people could agree. Also this song is from the album Recovery which talks about how he recovered from the place he was in hence the title.
Not afraid is probably my most listen eminem song.
Rock bottom is just a steady platform from which to rebuild your life. Keep that smile folks ❤
This is the song that got me into eminem, back when I was 10 or so seeing it on the TV, the music video captured me along with his passion
Regardless of what is said about Em and all his crazy lyrics, he'll never lose my respect.
Automatic thumbs up for me on this track. One of his best tracks ever.
“I wanna hear wisdom.” Yes sirrrr I feel that. So much wisdom, yes 👍🏼
I absolutely love this reaction. Thanks for the reminder that true kindness is still out there and that joy is infectious.
Your videos have cheered me up today after immense heartbreak so thank you for doing these reaction videos :)
Damn I’m still not much better than I was back 2 months ago.
This Man is a treasure so much joy
This song is so good. Literally one of my favorite em songs . Great reaction and thanks for the lessons
Thanks so much for this!😊👍
You should listen to beautiful by Eminem, it's about his mental health at the time of his drug addiction
When I came to that Conjunction Junction and asked what's my function....2 of my fav lyricists.... Eminem and Tech N9ne had separate songs in different times that offered solice. This song and Tech N9ne "Fragile" brought it home. His girls he is raising motivated him to be his best.
love how hype this gets you
I love every one of your reactions. The point of view you have as middle aged white man dancing and enjoying this music makes me smile as big as I can.Your an amazing human and I hope em sees these videos.
But it was fun in a weird way
One of my favorites songs of him.....! Great reaction!
When you find yourself forgetting your demons; you may find yourself back on the corner with a dime bag. When you find yourself there tho just don't give up hope; you just need to work towards a better life again.
This is for mental health as well as addiction 😊
We are just blessed to be part of Em journey including relapse every album touched me so much

I will not be humble towards the one who wishes to overthrow my victory!!
It's real, I've defeated you. My victory goes pass Faith. It's a Devine fact!!
He can lift the whole liqour counter up because he's 'raising the bar'. Another nice double meaning there
