One of my favourites from Eminem. Became my anthem when I had to leave a really toxic relationship with my two kids. So grateful for this song and my current life that I’ve created once I had the courage to leave.
It took me until my 30's to realize the lyrical genius of Eminem, especially the last decade or so. I grew up listening to him, but never appreciated him the way he deserves, and your channel has helped me grow in this understanding.
This is one of the songs I always tell people to go listen to whenever they use the same old criticisms that everyone’s heard, that just aren’t true, about Eminem. The whole, no one can relate to eminem, that eminem only ever talks about his mum/girl, that he never says anything of value/his bars are just shock factor bars, stuff. This, beautiful, and die alone are the ones I always bring up. If you can’t relate to die alone, you just haven’t had your first love yet. If you think what he’s saying in beautiful is filler or anything like that, it’s because you are purposely not listening. This song, is almost like Eminem knows that people think he raps about girls too much, so he made a whole song where it *sounds* like that’d what he’s doing, unless you listen closely. Alright, rant over 😂
I'm always amazed, never really looked to listen to all Eminem's music but you keep showing me how legendary he is. I appreciate your reaction Cliff... thanks for that.
Crazy thing is Eminem dropped the Slim Shady EP in 1997, which got the attention of the mighty Dre (if you know you know), and he was 25 at the time... so he got semi-famous since then so the fame almost feels like a life sentence from 25 till life he can't go out without being recognized.
Honestly I think Eminem will be looked back on as the John Lennon of the 90s+, he has a place in history that we can't even fathom while we still have him here making music for us.
This is one of his many best songs with an enduring message. This track stays in constant rotation in my playlist ever since 2010. Em is well respected to those who really knows and will always have mine! 🐐 🔥
Pretty much everybody thought that Eminem was talking about a woman on this song but he was really talking about hip hop and how hip-hop turned his back on him and how he felt that he was doing like a life sentence like 25 to life
This song is so amazing one of his best. I guess I one of the few that really likes Relapse when it first came out, I like it just as much now as I did during its initial release.
Let's celebrate that in 3 weeks we're inducting him into the Rock & ROLL HOF and probably dropping a new album around it. He's been doing Fall holiday releases lately
This album and song made me really believe eminem was walking away from hip hop and it was a very sad time I cannot imagine how it will be when he is gone..
Cliff, my dude, you must have been really tired... "Not Afraid" is from Recovery. Great job man, I hope the world gets to enjoy your channel for years to come. Stay safe
seee people no cuts or edits in this Bi"#h man i just want to say thankyou for working so hard and always being there even when you tired or depressed you always put that stuff aside to be there for us im here to give a 🌹rose and say we love you ❤️
Hey Cliff! G'morning :) entertaining as always. There are so much music from Em so it's nearly impossible to keep track on it all 😂 I've have always enjoyed Ems music at the times he realased it. Have to put your mind into his situation in life witch is really hard. But to go back like this on his older work is like timetraveling for me. I've been having a life like an fucking rollercoaster and his music have been with me the whole way. Love from Sweden mate!
I have always thought and felt years ago and more so nowadays, that Eminem is not only the greatest of all time, but also the most underrated hip-hop artists of all time. Great show as always. Now he is just on another level when it comes to penmanship. To technical for that mumble shit of today. They can keep the mumble shit and il stick to the technical or Eminem.
I know you did most of revival but was wondering if you ever reacted to the original “chloraseptic” with just Eminem and phresher on the hook! Would be pretty cool!
I related to this song because it reminded me so much of the Marine Corps. Treat you like shit until it's time to reenlist and then they start kissing your ass so you won't leave.
Revival classic 👌 I still don't understand why they hate it. Whatever they say Eminem for me is Shakespeare in writing Picaso on painting Mozart as 🎶 Genius!!
Witt Lowry- Reaper I would love for you to check this song out Cliff. It's one of the best conceptual songs you'll ever hear. Story told from the point of view of cancer that killed his father
It seems like he raps with all the instrumentation already in his head when he first thinks of the verse...or he creates syncopation with his cadence alone. But obviously he adds the accompaniement later, carving everything away that is NOT David.
It wasn’t a top 5 list. It was a top 10 list and Rick Ross and Gucci were on it. Idc if it was 2009,10,15,20 etc. Em deserves to be on those lists. Not one hip hop artist has even come close to accomplishing what Eminem has and he gets shafted? We all know why…
The Artists before Eminem could make Money but not to the extent to what it is since Em came along. MC’s can be smallish and still make enough to give back to their Families. Jay-Z wouldn’t have what he does now without Em’s contribution to Hip-Hop, he made most of his bag in the later part of his Career compared to the first part, it’s a certified Top 100 Genre. Ice T, Cube, Easy, Dre, I could go on have all benefited from what Em has done for Hip-Hop. I’ve been a Hip-Hop head since NwA, 2 Live Crew, all the Old Cats Ice-T, Ice Cube, Too $hort, Pac, Big, The Fat Boys… LL, I could go on and on I was all up in it, but this ain’t no Race. I pulled it out and shot it right in her Face 😂… Lil Kim Cardi B shouldn’t be thanking Madonna, sure she opened it up a little, but Lil Kim blasted it Wide open for the Missy Elliot’s, the Nikki’s, the Cardi B’s… ❤ Hip-Hop E-40, Ant Banks.. there are too many I’d be here all day. Kids now only know Ice T, and Cube, 50 Cent as Actors.. Ice T not only Rapped he has a Metal Band called Body Count which are dope. Limp Bizkit wishes they were a 1/5th of what Body Count is. But Fred Durst can suck a dick through a Glory Hole. Em also has set it up so you don’t need to Retire at 30.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like this song could also be talking about his addiction… always in rush to get back to you… jealous when I spend time with the girls… I’m gonna take control of this relationship and be the boss of you. I know he never made any direct references to drugs in the song, but maybe 🤷🏼♀️
The list was supposed to be current for the time, 2009, so diamond albums and the movie is irrelevant. Based solely on relapse, the commercial success, features and lyricism, he deserved to be there ahead of gucci
Eminem I have followed you from the start you're amazing you get roses from me 🌹🌹🌹🌹🥀🥀🌹🥀🌹🥀🌹🫂💜🎶 you work work so hard thank you love you love you music 🎶
@@CliffBeatsOfficial zero arguments with that list. You should do a themed reaction one day of the week like “Tupac Tuesday” where you just start with 2Pacalypse Now and work your way through his entire collection. Bring light to some of the OG stuff for some of these young cats who may not have understood the effect he had on the rap game.
Love the reactions man. Me and I'm sure a lot of other people would like to hear more Yelawolf though. If you need a point in the right direction I'm more than happy to give you a list of songs from him that won't miss and will probably get your subs up higher. Let me know 🤟
One of my favorite songs from Eminem. I used to listen to this album when I was at all time low and it really kept me going.
I was going through my divorce when this came out. It helped me keep my sanity.
I also was going through a divorce and this song was my go to. I know that isn't what it is about, but definitely helped me. Thanks for the reaction.
I was in closed mental hospital for deep depression and self harm and this album is all I remember from there
Same I deal with depression n when I'm at a really bad low point I listen to this n helps me get back to that hight point
One of my favourites from Eminem. Became my anthem when I had to leave a really toxic relationship with my two kids. So grateful for this song and my current life that I’ve created once I had the courage to leave.
The same but I substitute it with my job that I wasted almost half my life at just to be treated bad all those years but now I’m doing so much better
1:52 "took me for granted" ..."granite, straight into the planet, into the dirt"... fire rock bar.
Eminem set the standard for rapper who try to follow his lead but he wakes up better than most rappers in the game
It took me until my 30's to realize the lyrical genius of Eminem, especially the last decade or so. I grew up listening to him, but never appreciated him the way he deserves, and your channel has helped me grow in this understanding.

"I deserve respect" - Hard words for a lot of people to say.
💞💐Love and respect to you, Cliff! You deserve it.
Hard for some, wayyy too easy for others.

This song is what embody what Em been threw in hip hop even still today. Easily in my top 10 songs of all time

such a great song! thanks for the reaction
Own it. "It's a bar breakdown channel". Refreshing. So many reactors worried about people complaining about pauses.

Man or women, it's hard to find a real one that always got your back. I got lucky, thank god.
This album saved me. Em saved me.
This is my favorite Eminem song.. actually the first em song I memorized when I was like 8 or 9
I knew you were going to that exact video as soon as you started talking about it. I remember seeing that and being just as shocked as Weezy was

Anyone else get to the hip-hop reveal on the first listen and immediately start the song over?
I'm sure nobody at this camp would appreciate me singing along. Sometimes I gota stay close to wifi and electric so no song alongs than 😭

That top 5 list was for the hottest rappers of like 2009-2010 that's why em wasn't on the list it was when relapse was out.

William Shakespeare, T. S. Elliot, Emily Dickinson, Marshall Bruce Mathers III
I hit the red button.
Not sure if you reacted to it but Em's "Mockingbird".
Relapse request = Same Song & Dance. Preferably with the short skit, Tonya, before...
First time I heard this song I thought it was about Kim until the "Fuck you hip-hop" line.

obie trice "Richard" with Em
First verse i think is About Kim specially for her
Why didn't Eminem make the top 10 list of greatest rappers ever?
I'm the judge
Top 5 in my book: pac,em, biggie, nas, dre
React to On Fire - the 🐐 (Eminem)

He spoke about it in an interview. He meant it to sound like he’s talking to a woman but that woman is hip hop 🙏
where im at lloyd banks ft em
Check out Sik World - Hella Bars
Racism has nothing to do with talent and skill I just wish those who only see white would see how much he loves and supports the genre😢🎉❤
