That's one of my fav parts of this saga. The fact that that was Chirp's knee jerk reaction 😂 The ride or die, unconditional loyalty between them. They WILL kill for eachother without a thought. But they'd rather just fuck around and I love that for them. Also, anybody that talks shit about her cousin's book will get hit. See; betting fairy. And Squak's big emotional moment is tied to his literary work and that's neat.
I love how in the last episode or two everyone at the table is wearing the most beautiful, epic fairytale makeup, or the coolest outfits, looking absolutely GORGEOUS, and then there's just. brennan. in his little shirt. the most ordinary looking white guy you could imagine.

honestly, at first I thought the Green Hunter bit seemed too silly and sidetracked for all the other kinda serious stuff that was happening, but then once Aabria joined in and fully committed to the Green Hunter being canonically intertwined into their universe, with every NPC and PC being so cognizant of this dumbass book, i grew to think of it as one of the best running jokes to come out of this season.

I have a Airry Peary theory: Green Hunter is a success and Squawk looks to the bloom for inspiration for his next book and tells of the romance between the warrior Hobb and the owlbear Rue. With the portals open the book finds its way into the mortal realm, becoming popular in Exandria under the name Feather Leather.
Dimension 20 has had a long and treasured history of players annoying the table with stupid side-plots that end in emotional or plot defining climaxes. Gorgug's dad, Hilda Hilda, Squinge's paper diet, The Green Hunter... And indeed. Stacy Fakename. Truly, Gorgug's dad went to the store for milk so Stacy Fakename could walk.
It's that feeling when there's something you didn't think you really wanted is taken away from you, and you realize how bad you actually wanted it all along.
I am 100% convinced that Brennan just forgot the fact that his character Hobb doesn’t know about the Green Hunter secret, and paid the most hilarious price for it.

When I watched it today, I had the pleasure of learning that European scientists originally named it the Sagittarius, which means... THE HUNTER! Lou Wilson put the biggest bird reference into his character's actions and didn't say ANYTHING ABOUT IT! He just left it there for us to stumble over!

I wish you added the part where Lou was asking Brennan to describe how he felt getting shot by the two arrows so he could use it for his book later which led to him trying to kill him with the spoon, that was hilarious too. 😂
ACOFAF was the third season of D20 that I tried to watch, but it was the first season where it all finally clicked and made me go back and fall in love with Fantasy High. The Green Hunter sub plot was a big part of why. Jeremy Renner is a theatre kid too btw.
