No more American adventures for her.......

Well, there once was a record label VP who wanted to introduce her in the US. They made an appointment in a hotel lobby. VP shows up a 'tad' late (like a few hours). She almost attacked him (if it wasn't for her management holding her down she would have hurt him, badly). And that was the end of her US adventure.... 🤷♂️
ANOUK always had great instrumentalists, always great drummers and guitarists, Oskar is certainly a drummer you want to have, but Hans has a tiny edge (for me), Angelo is such a solid and powerful guitarist ..... this line up was high octane

The management company that she was under contract with refused to partner with an American company that had knowledge of this market. She came to the US and they were told to do small to midsize gigs to gain recognition but her home country group refused. The American company also wanted her to promote or emphasize the fact that she had children and was very devoted etc….they refused to listen so she went back to sold out concerts never to make a dent in the US market
this track ist beyond understanding, it's just feeling the power of handmade and heartfelt music. Sad to have the drum solo of a really fantastic live drummer in this song. In my opinion it breaks the energy of the song. All great musicians, i like the handover on guitar solos on 04:26, just showing the rhythm guy is able to get some solo attention as well. One of my all time favs

I just can't understand why Anouk hasn't had major airplay on USA FM radio or the success and recognition she deserves here in my country.
Holland has very good music overall. Intwine and kane are also very wicked bands. But the hiphop scene is also one of the best!
