worked through all the courses, results are okay so far. Do you have some special tip for me how to differentiate between minor and major flows? I know its about practice, screentime and subjectivity but maybe you have some more usefull advice for me. Great video as always
You can draw Forks using Closing prices. You can combine Closing prices and spike tips. When you do, you often find that the "misses" (like in example 2) aren't misses at all.

@@Cyber-sd8fd What I mean in detail? Well, you draw a Fork using three pivots using the extreme of the bar. Let's call them P0, P1, P2. Normally, that would be a Low, High, Low. Or High, Low, High.
But what I'm suggesting is that you use Closing prices instead . . . Lowest Close, Highest Close, Lower Close. Etc. You can also mix it up . . . one pivot might be a High Close and the next one a Lower Low (end of the bar).
Andrews told his students to use the Close when drawing Mini Median Lines. You can read about those to explore the technique further.
Personally, I don't believe that there is ever a RIGHT or WRONG Median Line. They all work and tell you something. There are countless (maybe infinite) Median Lines at work all the time. Some may be important right now, some may matter in the future. Our task is to find the BEST one . . . not the RIGHT one. Median Lines are an Art, not a Science.
Try exploring different Median Lines not just the first one that appears to be "right" or even "best." There may be several "best lines." With time and experience you begin to "see" what works best at the moment. In the end, it's your money. You're trying to find a line that gives you the confidence to enter a trade with a small stop and big potential.
One final comment . . . I don't recommend trading with Median Lines/Forks intraday at smaller timeframes. The lowest timeframe should be 15 min . . . and that's only after being very, very experienced. You have to learn to "see" before you can trade 15 min bars.

Great stuff as usual. Newcomers should keep in mind that we aren't trying to be right on every trade, but to have a high enough risk reward ratio to winning rate that we have positive expected value over the long term. The precision of these methods will help you get there.

Does the pitchfork technic work in stock markets?
Hi Eduardo do you use any rationale or any prerequisites to select a chart to do analysis on when live trading? On the daily chart for instance an analysis for one pair may take for instance 15-30 mins x 28 for each pair will take between 7 to 14 hours of analysis. Obviously doing this on lower time frames will be futile without a prerequisite to lessen the amount of pairs to analyse. Hopefully the question makes sense, sorry if its too long, but any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

I like to use It with bollinger bands, It gives me very precise entries.

One thing that I wonder regarding the technical analysis videos is that it is easy to make technical drawings or create logical reasoning about the direction of the price after the fact! What I would like to know is how can I use Andrews pitchfork to have a more educated guess on my next move in the next few days that are not here, and we don't have any candlestick for them.
Don't overestimate how it easy it is to observe logical reasoning in hindsight. Regardless of difficulty, this is the first step to understand the behavior of price.

Have you ever tried to feed artificial intelligence with your pitchfork analysis.?
If you ever do, i have discovered several new geometric fractals that also provide mathematical units that appear to organise price structures.
In fact so much so and to such an extraordinary precise time price units, that it .started to make to think about the universe as a ONE neural network with predictable paths.
I also saw the power of pitchforks as you did.
I thinkt that my discoveries together with the analysis NOT only of the major lines that you describe so well in your videos but of ALL intermediary pitchforks between ALL smaller tops and bottoms as well , analysed by Artificial Intelligence could be a break through.

I REALLY missed this kind of "price action trade example" videos in the past few months (when you were concentrating on indicator videos and finishing your ebooks.)
I still think, you should do the occasional stock, commodity, Bitcoin etc. trade video. 😉 But I guess those are just not your markets.

The strategies work in such a way that you can make money in the long term without having to be correct all the time. If fact, you can lose more than what you win and still make money due to the risk/reward ratios
