I'm not seeing it. I'd think that greater accuracy would be made using a smaller timeframe as the Fibonacci sequence is wider, that is, the numbers are not as bunched up as on a daily or weekly timeframe. Seems more like the accuracy of a broken clock. It's right twice a day. In my testing, I still find that extensions and retracements of 1.5 to 1.68 and .5 to .68 come up more often than not.
this video is wonderful, the content is first hand, amazing and organize. I love the way you twist already existing poor trading techniques, turning disadvantages of such techniques into powerful and precise trading methodologies. Your Understanding of the markets and trading is general is second to none, and the organization of your content is super attractive, not forgetting your trading creativity. In short you are just an amazing and surprising person. Thank you for sharing pure and informative trading knowledge and skills
Hey I've been watching your channel a lot, and I have a question, where do you study these techniques and strategies? Are there specific websites or books you learn from? Because your channel is probably one of the best that I've learned from on youtube in regards to trading. The way you teach, and the information you present are very high quality, I did a bit of self-studying in the past, but never found out about the many strategies that you talk about until I watch your videos.
Yeah, um.... even though the Fibonacci sequence is found in nature, something just feels unnatural about this method that if I were to actually succeed in using it, that, by itself, would astound me more than any profits I might accrue, and I'm not really trying to be amazed by what I do. Let me see if I can put it another way... Suppose I had a strong umbrella, like a beach umbrella, and I decided to jump off a 10-story building and succeeded in using the umbrella as a parachute that brought me safely to the ground, I'd be astounded, literally, as anyone else might be who saw me pull off such a feat! But would I risk trying it again? No, I wouldn't. No matter how many times I might succeed in using this method, it just seems unnatural with its high variability of projection aspect that I feel like I'd be better off simply guessing or flipping a coin instead, which would save me the hassle and grief of doing the calculating or counting involved in this strategy. In fact, this strategy makes the Elliot Wave Theory seem like a more obvious and sure bet. Still, I thank you for the time and effort you took to teach this. Not every strategy meshes with me and that's nobody's fault. I did learn from your video as I saw the Fibonacci in a new light which caused me to reflect. I remain subscribed and look forward to your next video.
ED, it always suprises me how organic your technique is in reading the chart. First time hearing of Fib counting, interesting concept. And combining it with Elliot waves was very cool. Thats way i love your videos, they give you a lot to think about. Thanks!
Looks like curve fitting to me, start off counting A->B->C then go to counting A->C then adding ranges but I guess needs trying out on 100s of examples
Sure, that is precisely why you will continue looking for the right strategy, and you will never find it. Trading is not so simple, brother. The devil is in the details.
oh God, I've finished watching all the videos here, and I've rewatched most of them several times, to really understand them. I hope I can buy the book and study it seriously. hopefully that time comes quickly. For now I can only say, Thank you very much..
@@fractalflowpro Ed, have you ever wondered if there will be 3D charts in the future? You can make extra space such as the amount of sell and buy orders. Or the amount of stoploss at a given price level.
Love your content Ed. Keep up the good work. Would love your thoughts on order flow charts compare to candlestick charts and what are your thoughts on it. Would love your opinion and explain.
dude, fib numbers being 1,2,3,5,8,13,21. If you add in numbers "near" them, you get 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,12,13,20. It's therefore more likely for fib counting to hit one of these numbers than not hit, right? 12/20 of numbers up to 20 are included in the list. Way more than half. So It's just very, very basic probability? Nothing to do with trading or anything elese...
Fib ratios are just another example of self-fulfulling prophecy in the markets, especially the most basic ratios. A lot of traders pay attention to these ratios, so they tend to have a reaction.
I've read an unpopular underrated book called integrated pitchfork analysis by mercia dologa and he explains a lot of powerful techniques like : mirror bar , fibo counting / action & reaction lines, time/price etc... I couldn't find a single trader know about these techniques, wich makes you a rare trader :) thanks Ed
Thanks in putting effort in making great content ED I watched your advance courses and I m seeking If you can provide us with deep trading psychology concepts
Yes. The new Fractal Flow course for beginners and intermediate traders will certainly be released before the end of the year. The advanced course will take more time because there is too much information in it.
Professor you are like Barry bonds in the 90s right now. This channel is like trading on steroids lol. Can we use horizontal rays with the bar count on as the Hausdorff lines. Seems like it can keep count for you. Might have to just separate points a b &c.
Would really, like deep down really like to see your Fundamental and sentimental analysis

Thanks Eduardo!
Ed, Thanks again! I just secured funding with a prop fund. You courses and teaching were instrumental in my achievement. Excellent work sir.
That's cool!
Thanks. I have never seen this before. It happens perhaps because too many people use Fibs
That's an interesting perspetive. Some of the self-fulfilling prophecy effect going on here apparently.
What other techniques do you recommend to use alongside this one?
amazing thanks alot
amazing thank you

Some counts will not work. You gauge that by looking for the counts that intersect.
Backtesting it now and all I can say guys is. Don’t use this 😂
Have you considered that there are certain things about trading that a backtest cannot capture?
@@fractalflowpro I’ve learnt not to force a strategy. If it’s not working it just isn’t

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, it's really simple.
@@fractalflowpro I shared this with a man who claims Fibo is not working and that any market geometry makes no sense. I am curious what he will say.
