Love the video! Most people will often stick a multitude of indicators that block any really valuable information. As a futures trader, there is one more tool I would suggest, although it is volume again (volume profile). Really, all you have to do is search for volume confirmation around key levels (support and resistance in the form recent swing lows and highs). It is this simple!

Okay, all of this by itself could easily be an 8-week class. This is such a fundamental thing that needs to be embraced and looked at first before any other thing. A lot of people focus on indicators or all these other things but they're not looking at price action and volume. Think about it, back in the days of ticker tapes, that's all the information they had, stock name price and volume. I think people get so enamored by finding the easy way using an indicator or some other thing that a guru will tell you to use that fundamental stuff like this is discarded. If you wanted to do a full volume price action class I'd be happy to be one of your guinea pigs.
To add what Chris said, you really should look into making this a course/class. I feel so many people would benefit immensely from your experience and will deter new traders from jumping from one useless indicator to another as all of them are derivatives of either price or volume anyways.

The Color Of Volume candle (Green/Red) Indicates if the price is closed above or below the opening price, for example even the price is close 1 cent above the opening price, the candle will be green. So how can you say a green candle indicates a long position or a red candle indicates short sellers? A 5-minute candle stayed red for almost 4 minutes and 50 seconds and turned green in last ten seconds, what can we interpret from this. Please Explain , waiting for your answer.
@@shafqattariq4491 you are correct And buyers OR sellers cause the change in price. You CAN have more aggressive sellers or buyers who get singular track focus and end up getting trapped in their trend/direction all of the time. Look at PANW buying 1 month ago that Got trapped. Or the shorting on OXY 5 days ago that got trapped It works… :)

Haha, you a great teacher man. I actually noticed this higher volume concept at my zones, I just didn't quite get the whole concept. But now you made sense of it with traders covering which means higher volume. New sub. You should do another video of this concept on NQ. The volume is not as easy to read.
Market was uber choppy this week in the first hour of open. I only trade about that length of time. Last week we were getting nice continuous moves shortly after open. Now with weeks like this, how can you read volume closer to see what’s going on. Expert opinion would be nice. Thanks. I look at NQ/ES, and sometimes stocks/etfs to see their behavior too
7:33 FYI for those trading small mining stocks, using the daily timeframe...make sure you find out what's the reason for the green candle. It might just be another financing and not really a move by the market.
Thank you for sharing this explanation about volume, and also the excitment you show about it tell us this is something very important that everyone need to learn, really thanks
I watched 1 min and the dude just said bullish volume because the bar is green? Brother the bar is green because the candle is green. Not because the volume is bullish. There could have been more hitting of the bid than the ask during that move up just with much less liquidity in the book to the upside. Bullish volume lmao the market is much more nuanced than people think.
The first RLT video i watched was "How to properly interoperate volume"! I rewatched it, along with videos from other instructors, until i landed on another real life trading video (one off the "how to day trade for a living" playlist)! Since then, if i want to learn, it's one of the RLT videos! Mainly the intermediate course playlist but in the last year I've been flat out watching the 'How to Day-trade for a living" and "Advanced trading" playlists!. One of the beautiful things about these playlists is that the RLT channel has a shorter video for all of the subjects, in the instructional videos, that are hard to understand. Seeing this video come out is a-lot like if your favourite band did an anniversary concert for your favourite album
wow bro, the way you talk, slowly and confidently, is such good teaching technique. You speak to me, and hopefully to others. Thank you for your generous, educational offering.
Selling volume at a high and high volume at the low mostly presents itself as high green spikes at the highs and high red volume spikes at the lows. Do not get conflicted.
You’re right for the stock market where these volume bars actually represent the volume of real closed trades/contracts! Unfortunately you can forget about this in Forex. It would have been nice if this was the case for Forex as well.
I think this is all super informative. Learning about rapped traders, and volume has really helped get me closer to not consistently losing money. But i was taught to start thinking this way when i started learning about footprint charts.
Hindsight is 20/20 so no disrespect, Chewy was indeed above a daily 50 vwma when last Wednesday it broke below and never looked back. Chewy could touch 18 before 25. It is what it is, doesn't change his point about volume.

I think the explanation was amazing! Easy to understand and just needs practice. The fact it has the flexibility to incorporate in any price action strategy is great too!

@@shafqattariq4491 you are correct
And buyers OR sellers cause the change in price.
You CAN have more aggressive sellers or buyers who get singular track focus and end up getting trapped in their trend/direction all of the time.
Look at PANW buying 1 month ago that
Got trapped.
Or the shorting on OXY 5 days ago that got trapped
It works…

Amazing analysis! Brother, after all of these years I still love watching you give back to the trading community. To produce videos like this containing such valuable content and provide it for free to help other traders gain additional insight and edge is really cool.

Just started, Need to watch; but what exactly is price action? Price going up down because of buy sell transactions?

Exceptional explanation on how to be profitable in day trading. 99% people lose money in day trading. This has completely blown my mind. This is your first video I have watched. "Subscribed". Thank you. Blessings & Warm Regards.
HOOOORAY!!!!! Thank you for watching Ray! ;-)
I love your style of teaching, you really helped me take my trading to the next level. Thank you.🎉
Yeah!!!! Thank you!!!!! 🙏🏻
Haha, you a great teacher man. I actually noticed this higher volume concept at my zones, I just didn't quite get the whole concept. But now you made sense of it with traders covering which means higher volume. New sub. You should do another video of this concept on NQ. The volume is not as easy to read.
Great!! thank you for letting me know! I'll work on futures volume video ;-)
A gifted teacher, not many that can make this content fun, but you do! thanks for the value!
I appreciate that Jason, thank you! :)
very good and i like the way you explain i was a little slow at first but you kept pounding the message great teaching!!!
Thank you very much for the kind comment Micheal!! oh
Great explanation.
Could I pick your brain on how to use volume for forex trading? Would be great to see your viewpoint on that

Great video, very informative... But where is the Average Daily range video announced in this video?? Does anyone have the link!
I'm reposting it today! Keep an eye out! :-)

HAYYYYY!!! Thank you Daniel!!!!!! :) :) Appreciate the super kind comment.
This is by far the best and simple explanation of how trends volume work! Thanks for the free knowledge. Keep it coming 🙌🏽

wow bro, the way you talk, slowly and confidently, is such good teaching technique. You speak to me, and hopefully to others. Thank you for your generous, educational offering.
Aw = Dang! Thanks James!!!! :) :)
Thank you! for S&P which volume is more relevant, the SPY's or the /ES'? or is there a 1 correlation between them?
Amazing Question!!
I would say = ES
Brilliant explanation of volume. So much detail dumbed down.
It would have been nice if this was the case for Forex as well.
ruclips.net/video/yGKQ2VUuu_k/видео.html Here's my FX video :)
I think this is all super informative. Learning about rapped traders, and volume has really helped get me closer to not consistently losing money. But i was taught to start thinking this way when i started learning about footprint charts.
Super happy you can see trapped traders now! Like on tsla today!
Hindsight is 20/20 so no disrespect, Chewy was indeed above a daily 50 vwma when last Wednesday it broke below and never looked back. Chewy could touch 18 before 25.
It is what it is, doesn't change his point about volume.
Great Video! 👍🏻
Wich Volume-Indicator you are using there?
